Kingdom Hearts: Organization XIII-2

A completed fan-fic I wrote on another site. I think I might begin work on part 2.

Kingdom Hearts: Organization XIII-2

Prologue: Scattered Memories

We're all that's left... Or, maybe we're all there ever was...
Numbers 15-27... Of Organization XIII...
The last of the "Nobodies"...
My name... It was...
A cloaked figure walks through the darkness...
"Axinoku... Number 17..."
The cloaked figure removes his hood. The man's long white hair falls to the back of his neck. His dark yellow eyes regard me with interest.
"Your keyblade... What is it called?"
"Keyblade?" I ask, dazed.
"Yes. What do you call it?"
"Shattered... Shattered Heart."

Another place, Another Time.
My best friend looks at me, wonder in her eyes.
"We can feel emotion... I know we can."
Xion?! No, but the resemblance is great.
Is this... Heartbreak?
Amaya... No, Ayamax... Our new Identities, A new purpose...

Ayamax glares at me, contempt in her eyes.
Number 18...
"I don't love you Oniaku..."
We're all so young... Why did Xemnas choose us?

A voice awakens us from the darkness.
"All 14 members are dead."
The 14th member... She and Ayamax... they were so similar.
"It is time for numbers 15-27 to step up and do the work of our organization."

Oniaku... that's who I was before.
"Oniaku, you're only a friend."
Ayamax...
A boy enters from A corridor of darkness.
Nistaxu... that was his name... number 15... He leaves Ayamax and I.
"I'm glad to be your friend."
We can't be Nobodies, can we?

Nistaxu approaches me, he is looking solemn.
"Why do we have emotions?"
I have no answer for him. I do not know either.

Nistaxu shouts at me from the clock tower of Twilight Town.
"The keyblade was never yours to bear!"

Organization XIII... But there were 27 of us... There's 13 now...

Number 15, Nistaxu, The Dying Light...

"Our memories are gone... lost forever on the road to dawn..."

Number 16, Kuxah, The Nithling Poet...

An Echo from a time long past...

Number 17, Axinoku, The Shadow Walker...

We don't even know when we are...

Number 18, Ayamax, The Child of the Arrows...

Nobodies don't have emotions... So why do we?

Number 19, Mixatu, The Stalwart Blade...

The original 13 are dead, and so is number 14.

Mixatu approaches me, drawing his blade. He speaks to me.
"I'm leaving the Organization..."

Kuxah sits on a pile of books, reading silently to herself. She is intent, focusing her power to give life to the dead words.

Number 20, Kuxsara, The Flower of Wonder...
She stands on a cliff overlooking a river. I approach her.
"We're not emotionless."
"What do you mean?"
"I'm certainly feeling love."
We wrap our arms around each other. We are certainly not emotionless.

Number 21, Xalex, The Dancer in the Rain...
The water coelescees around his form, he uses it as a shield to deflect the attacks of the shadowy beings around him.

Number 22, Salindyx, The Merciless Inferno...
The flames dance around her as she fightsher way through a plethora of heartless. As she finishes with them, she plants a light kiss on the cheek of Xalex, who has collapsed in exhaustion...

Number 23, Xyru, The Symphony of Sorrow...
He summons his instuments. They play a song he can't quite remember. Kuxah sits with him, leaning on his shoulder and quietly reading a book.

Number 24, Xarbem, The Frozen Witch...

Where nothing gathers... The 13 thrones. I sit on the one raised the highest.

Number 25, Stoxok, The Thief of Memories...

It is said the X-Blade can directly unlock Kingdom Hearts...

A shadow rises from the ground, it flies toward Ayamax with lightning speed.

Number 26, Irexca, The Shooting Star...

The brown haired boy blocks the blow of my keyblade with his own keyblade.
"You have one too?" I ask, perplexed.
I perform a backflip, increasing my distance from him.
"I though I already took care of Organization XIII." He states jokingly.
"So... You're Sora..."

Number 27, Xidust, The Rising Sun...

"You understand so little..."

I stand with Kuxsara, holding her close. She brushes her pink hair from her eyes and asks a simple question.
"Do you love me?"

I run down Memories Skyscraper, tring to erase the pain...

Sora raises his keyblade at me, prepared to strike the final blow...

I pull Kuxsara even closer, noticing everything about her. I smile as I get the scent of cherries from her hair. She looks at me. She still hasn't gotten an answer yet.
"Always," I say, pulling her closer, running my hand through her hair, "Always and Forever."

We aren't Nobodies... So what's our purpose?

Kingdom Hearts... What are we?

"You mean it?" Kuxsara asks, as she moves closer into my embrace. She is facing me now.
"Yes." I say. The answer is simple, but it is the one she wanted. We pull each other in for a kiss...

Sora plunges the keyblade into me, I cry out in agony...

Kuxsara...

Kingdom Hearts comes crashing down around us...

We are a Fragmentary Existence.

Chapter I: Waking

Beep. Beep. Beep. It was a gentle pulsing sound, only slightly annoying. I had been within the darkness of that pod for so long. I couldn't believe that we were actually being woken up. It filled me with anticipation, and, of course, dread. If we were being woken up, it could mean only one thing: Organization XIII's Numbers 1-14 were dead.

wait, 14? I asked myself, Funny, I sorta remember her, yet I also don't, what a puzzle.

I opened my eyes, I was being held in a white pod, similar in construction to the ones that had been held in Castle Oblivion.

I wonder what happened there, anyway? We were put to sleep very quickly. I doubt anyone but Xemnas, Saix, and Xigbar knew of our existence.

I moved my hand in front of my face, checking to see if it could move. I looked at the black cloak I wore, a sign of belonging to Organization XIII. I pinched myself, just to make sure I wasn't dreaming I was awake. I had had stranger dreams during my sleep.

There was a mechanical whirring as the front of my pod opened itself, beginning to release me. Glancing out, I could see 12 other pods doing the exact same thing.

So it isn't just me, the other's are being woken up as well.

I step out of the pod, ready to begin whatever task the Organization had prepared for us. Nistaxu was already out of course. I knew he had done something terrible to me back... Before. Before the Organization... It was so hard to remember that time, I only remembered that I hated him for what he had done, and those sort of feelings don't pass easily. The other 11 came out of their pods a little while later. I noticed Ayamax walk out of hers and motioned for her to join me. We had been best friends Before, and we still were.

I noticed a lonely looking pink haired girl sitting off to the side of the group, seeming rather alone. I didn't pay her much mind though, I didn't know her too well.

There was another mechanical whirring sound, and a screen extended down from the cieling. There was a man with long blue hair, yellow eyes, and an X-shaped scar in the middle of his face on the screen.

Saix... I thought, with a little distaste.

Saix's lips began moving, and his voice revererated on the walls around us.

"Numbers 1-13 Have been eliminated."

Of course they have, I thought, That's why we exist. Wait a moment...

"There were 14, what happened to Number 14?" I asked, puzzled.

Saix glares at me, contempt evident in his eyes. I realize at that moment that this is no mere recording, but instead is an advanced computer.

"There was never a 14."

Bull, I think to myself, If that were true then one of us would be number 14. Whatever, I'll go with it for now.

"You must choose your superior. All of you, summon your weapons." Saix again, as calm and collected as ever.

I put forth my hand. A beam of darkness appeared in it, which formed itself into my keyblade, Shattered Heart.

Ayamax summoned her bow next to me. It was funny, she never carried arrows, it was as if the bow made them for her as she fired.

"Kuxsara! You're weapon, Now!" Saix was yelling, which meant someone wasn't listening. I glanced over again at the pink-haired girl sitting by herself. She hadn't summoned her weapon yet, so I figured she must be Kuxsara.

"Kuxsara... please summon your weapon." I told this to her in as polite a tone I could manage.

She smiled at me, a warm, beaming smile. I felt something then, though I wasn't sure what. She begins nodding, and I wonder why she smiles the way that she does. What reason does a nobody have to smile, anyway?

She held her fist in front of her, a single flower in her hand, for a moment I was confused, then the flower shaped itself into a scythe, which she rested on the floor. I gave her a curt nod in thanks. I was glad we wouldn't have to deal to much with Saix's rage. Though I wondered if a computer could even enter berserk mode.

"Nistaxu, Axinoku, Your power levels are equal. You two shall fight to determine who truly deserves to be the Superior. Begin."

Ayamax quickly dodge-rolled out of the way, standing off to the side with the rest of the new Organization.

It figures it would come to this.

Nistaxu rushes at me, a dagger drawn. I had almost forgotten that he preferred not to use his ethereal blades. I bring my keyblade up, prepared to easily block his attack. However, he surprises me by jumping over me.

Frick! He's going after Ayamax!

I throw my keyblade at Nistaxu, forcing him to divert his path. He jumps up awyay from it, giving me time to rush him and tackle him to the ground He pushed me off of him, and I re-summoned my keyblade, just in time to block the blow of his Ethereal Blades. They were a black so absolute I felt as though I could fall into them.

The blow flung me back, slamming me into a wall, which crumbled around me, trapping me in it. I quickly sent a blast of energy through myself, getting most of myself free from the wall.

While I was stuck in the wall, Nistaxu walked calmly over to Ayamax, who was repeatedly firing off arrows from her bow. They glanced off Nistaxu, he appeared to be immune to the effects of getting piercd by an arrow. He grabbed Ayamax by the throat, raising her into the air. To her credit, Ayamax put up as much of a fight as possible, but Nistaxu seemed to be immune to the pain. Nistaxu turned to me, showing me Ayamax.

"Make a Choice" He said, in a voice like darkness itself.

I snarled at him as I faded my keyblade back out of existence, putting it wherever it rests when I don't use it.

"Good Choice."

He set Ayamax back down, and she fired another arrow at him, however he caught this one, and began twirling it around on his fingers, his face set in disgust. Ayamax glared at him, walking over to help me unstick my arm. She placed an arrow between my arm and the wall, and used it like a crowbar to pry me out. She had a look of amusement on her face the entire time she did it.

"Am I still so important to you?" she asked as my arm came free and I fell to the floor.

"Did you expect something else?"

"I suppose not."  she replied, shaking her head in amusement. I glanced back over at Nistaxu, who still had a look of disgust on his face.

Saix looked at Nistaxu, nodding. "Excellent. Nistaxu, you are the superior. This went just as Xemnas predicted. Please procede to the Altar Of Naught, Nistaxu. As Superior, there is certain information you must know."

I watched in anger as Nistaxu left. Not only had he cheated, but he had threatened me with Ayamax. I definitely hated him now.

Then, A thought occured to me.

Nobodies can't be mad, or hateful or caring. They can't feel anything at all.

Chapter II: A Chat With A Flower

I sat on an overhang on the castle, looking out over the expanse of The World That Never Was.

More of a city than a world.

I was waiting for Ayamax. She had said that something was wrong, though I wasn't sure what she was talking about. Maybe she was going to remind me she only thought of me as a friend again. I knew I loved her, but I didn't need so many reminders that she didn't feel the same about me.

Looking out over the city/world, I realized we had the entire place to ourselves.

Why should we stay in the Castle? There's plenty of room out there. I'll talk to Nistaxu about it later.

In the week since Nistaxu became Superior, things had pretty much gotten a routine. I was Nistaxu's right hand, because for some reason he "trusted" me, despite the fact that I "hated" him. I went on the more important assignments, which were generally for heart collection, seeing as I had the only Keyblade. Ayamax and I were generally sent on missions together, though I couldn't see Nistaxu's reasoning in this, it made no sense to me. I would have figured he would try to keep us apart, but whatever, it worked for me, I enjoyed being with Ayamax.

I heard footsteps coming up behind me, and turned expecting to see Ayamax, finally showing up. She had been dispatched to Twilight Town to take care of an infestation of Pureblood Heartless. I usually wasn't sent on those. The only reason they were even eliminated is because they stunted the growth of Emblem Heartless populations, which were the heartless type that actually released hearts. So, if there were to many Purebloods, there would be too few Emblems, And I couldn't do Heart Collection, which would stall the process of creating "Kingdom Hearts". Not that it was even the real thing. It was just a fake caused by a huge gathering of hearts. The real thing was a little harder to access, so for now, we were making this.

When I turned around, I was surprised to see Kuxsara walking towards me, joining me on the balcony. I looked at her in confusion. I was baffled as to why she was there. She wore the signature cloak of Organization XIII, same as every other member did.

"It's a beautiful view, isn't it?"

A beautiful view? What a trivial comment, what's she getting at?

"As good a view as any, I guess. "

"The monitors of Memories Skyscraper... do you know what they're for?"

I turned towards her, laughing a little. "No. I've never bothered wondering. It didn't seem too important."

She turned towards me, shaking her head, and it appeared as if her hair danced around her head.

"This is our new home. Shouldn't we know as much about it as possible?"

I laughed again. It was strange, the only other person who could get me to laugh or really show any positive emotion at all was Ayamax. "Knowing about their home didn't do the other 13 much good, did it?"

"14. Don't you remember Xion?"

I shook my head, a little sadly. "I couldn't remember her name. I just remembered that she and Roxas were different from the others."

This time, Kuxsara laughed. "Of course they were, they had hearts."

"What do you mean?"

"You should try using the computers to get information on the original 13. You'd find out lots."

I laughed again, she seemed not to have though of something. "Why not use that database to look up Memorie's Skyscraper?"

She shook her head, looking extremely disappointed. "I tried. It didn't mention the monitors too much. Most of it was a report on how the Organization lost Roxas to Riku."

I nodded. I remembered Nistaxu telling me about that, when he was teaching me what I had forgotten about the keyblade. I was still a little puzzled as to why there were so many gaping holes in my memory.

"Kuxsara?"

"Yes, Axinoku?"

"I'm supposed to meet Ayamax up here, and it's supposed to be a private conversation, so..."

She laughed again, it was a very pleasing sound, her laugh. "Of course."

I was immediately alarmed when she dropped off the side of the castle, still laughing.

"Kuxsara!!!" I screamed, looking down into the pit below.

I jumped at a sudden tap of the back I felt from behind. I turned quickly, keyblade drawn and in my hand. I was completely surprised to see Kuxsara standing there, a grin on her face, completely unmarred.

"What the--?"

She laughed again, opening a corridor of darkness. "These things can be used for fun, too. They don't just have to be used to get to missions and Where Nothing Gathers." She walked into the corridor, the sound of her laughter continuing until it closed behind her.

"Kuxsara," I said, voicing my thoughts out loud, "You are insane."

Chapter III: Broken Things

As I sat there on the overhang, I thought about Kuxsara. I wondered what was up with her. Did I know her before I became... Whatever I was? I was pretty certain I wan't a Nobody. After all, I felt emotion. I thought about how she had made me laugh, and had figured out a way to have fun with the Corridors of Darkness. It was truly intrigueing.

"Maybe I should hang out with her. She might be fun to be with. I wonder what kinds of missions she gets assigned?"

Of course, it was at that exact moment that Ayamax decided to join me.

"Hang out with who, Oniaku?" she said, sitting herself down on the overhang.

"Oniaku?" I asked, puzzled.

She shook her head, laughing at me. "Don't tell me you forgot you're old name? It was what you were called before the Organization"

I looked at her, and noticed she was waiting for an answer.

"I did forget. The only thing I can remember from before the Organization is you, and how much I loved you. How much I still love you."

She started playing with the strings of the hood of her cloak. She was getting nervous.

"Oniaku..."

"Axinoku. I don't remember myself before, So I'd like to be called what I am now."

"Axinoku..." She said, gazing at me sadly, "I don't love you."

"Yes you do. You just don't love me as I love you. Your's is a different sort of love."

"Right... but... I only think of you as a friend."

She looked away as she said this, evidently a little embarrassed by it.

"I'm happy to be your friend, Ayamax. If that is what you wan't from me, I'm happy to be it."

I looked out once more into the city, and I realized that not only was the castle floating, but it was slowly turning, as well. My view now was of what appeared to be Memory's Skyscraper. I looked back at Ayamax, she hadn't spoken for a few minutes.

"Is that all you had to tell me, Ayamax?"

She shook her head slowly, looking back at me. "We're not Nobodies, Axinoku. We can't be, we feel emotion."

"I know."

"Also, each of us is missing something. You lost your memories, Nistaxu says he lost something, but he won't tell me what. Kuxah lost her voice, I mean, each of us lost something from before, and we don't know why."

I looked at her, studying her face. I wondered what she had lost, but I didn't want to pry. "Maybe it's part of our new existence. Part of whatever it is we have become."

She nodded. "I wondered that too. I can't stay any longer Axinoku. I still haven't beaten the Pureblood infestation. There's just so many of them."

"Well then," I said, grabbing her by the arm, "I'll help you. I'm done with my mission."

"Thanks. Can you let go though."

"Nope." I replied, leaning over the edge of the castle, and taking her with me. I heard her scream, and I just laughed a little more. I opened up A corridor Of Darkness below us, and we fell in, tumbling into the lanes between.

"Lead the way, Ayamax."

She was shuddering, still obviously shaken by the experience. "Warn me next time, okay Oniaku?"

"If I must." I replied, silently thanking Kuxsara for the idea. "So, lead on to Twilight Town."

She shook her head, laughing at me. She opened up another Corridor Of Darkness, which I followed her through.

Chapter IV: Purebloods And Shadows

"Oniaku, if you ever do that again I will seriously kick your ass."

I laughed at Ayamax. She had told me that multiple times since I had pulled her off the castle with me.

"Whatever. We have a mission to do. Where is this colony of Purebloods?"

She turned to me, glaring. "If I knew that I wouldn't need your help."

"Right."

We walked in relative silence around Twilight Town, making sure to stay unnoticed. We weren't sure why, but Nistaxu said we had to do this. I kept thinking. She said she didn't love me, but... I wasn't so sure. I still had a lot of my memories of her, and they seemed to say otherwise. Well, sort of. There was something there I couldn't quite remember, so I let the issue drop from my mind.

"So... If you don't love me... Who did you love? Y'know, before?"

She sighed looking as if the memories hurt a little. "Nistaxu."

That stopped me dead in my tracks. "N-Nistaxu?" I managed to stammer out. "You loved Nistaxu?"

She looked at me, eyeing me with a slight suspicion. "Yes. He was different then. What he lost was very important. He lost his love for me. Purebloods"

I turned around, confused for a moment, until I saw the massive quantities of Shadows, a relatively low leveled Pureblood Heartless. "I guess that's why I hate him so much." I said, rushing at the Shadows with my keyblade drawn. They were very weak, one blow from my keyblade ended their existence, but there were massive quantities of them. Ayamax had jumped onto a balcony, shooting at them with her bow. I noticed a Shadow crawling up the side of the house and fired a burst of -guess what?- fire from my keblade, destroying it. Ayamax nodded her thanks, and we continued fighting the heartless.

I slammed my keyblade down into the last Shadow, ending it. "Last one."

She approached me, a curious look on her face. "Why do you wield your keyblade backwards now? You didn't before."

I looked down at the keyblade I was holding. She was right, I was indeed wielding it backward. "I dunno. I didn't realize I was. It just seemed like a natural way to hold it."

She laughed at what I had said, "Really? You'd think that wouldn't be the case."

I looked over her shoulder, noticing a boy approaching us. He had long white hair to his neck, and looked at us with cold blue eyes.

"We should leave, Ayamax." I said, drawing her attention to the boy who was approaching us.

I opened a corridor of darkness, and was about to walk through it with Ayamax when the boy yelled at me to stop. I wasn't sure why I did, but I listened to him. He walked over to us, his hands in his pocket.

"You're not... You're not Organization XIII are you?"

At that moment, I admit I freaked out. I hadn't recognized him at first but I did now. I was talking to Riku, one of the people who had taken down the original Organization XIII. I pushed Ayamax through the corridor of darkness, trying to make sure she was safe. She'd be upset later, but I'd worry about that then.

"I don't see how you can be... I think they're all gone." He said, looking at me with doubt. His gaze shifted to my keyblade, and I saw his expression change to one of wonder. He looked back at me and I quickly punched him in the face, knoccking him down. I jumped backwards through the corridor of darkness, making my escape.

Chapter V: A Lack Of Nobodies

The moment I had stepped through the portal Ayamax punched me in the face, breaking my nose.

"What the hell was that about Axinoku?" She yelled at me. Oh yes, she was mad, but she wasn't as mad as she could be.

I ran my fingers along the sides of my nose. I had a nose bleed, and it was definitely broken, but it was still straight, so I wasn't to worried. I stood up, wiping my blood on my sleeve. Looking down, I realized I had forgotten what blood looked like, which caused me to laugh, which upset Ayamax even more. I dodged out of the way before her fist could connect with my face again.

"Well?!" She asked, glaring.

I kept walking, I wasn't sure if Riku would try to chase us through here, and I didn't want to leave a scar for him to follow us back to the castle. I looked back at Ayamax, pleading with my eyes. "We need to get moving."

She sat down, stubbornly refusing to move. "No. What happened?"

I sat down, looking back into her eyes. They were changing colors again, signifying that she was calming down. They were no longer a coal-black, but instead a golden-brown color. I sighed, deciding that I may as well tell her. "Riku."

"What?" She looked back up, surprise on her face. "Wasn't he... Didn't he... He eliminated a few of the original 13, didn't he?"

"Yeah," I replied, looking back. "And he helped defeat Xemnas. So are we going to get going or not?"

Ayamax looked around, frowning, suddenly her eyes lit up, and she stood up.

"Their's no Nobodies." She said, walking past me. I looked around, not sure what she meant.

"What do you mean?" I asked, jogging to catch up with her.

She turned around, but continued walking backward. "Well, obviously we're not Nobodies, but there aren't even any Dusks or Creepers anywhere."

I thought about it a moment and realized she was right. "Strange. I wonder why?"

"Maybe the strong hearts are gone. Maybe all that's left is weakness and corruption. Maybe the world has turned dark."

I laughed then, it seemed a little ridiculous. "And maybe the Keyblade War has happened once more!" I said, trying my best to sound spooky.

Ayamax laughed at me. "No chance! At least my idea was possible. You have blood running down your face."

I wiped the blood on my sleeve, a little bit of the blood got in my mouth, leaving an Irony taste in my mouth. "Hmm. Not exactly a bad taste really, very metallic, somewhat sweet."

"You're taste-testing your own blood? That's a little weird..."

I laughed, it was a little absurd. "Can't help it. Blood has a surprisingly good taste."

Ayamax shook her head, trying not to laugh. "I think we're far enough." She opened a Corridor of Darkness, beckoning me towards her.

"You ready?"

"Nope." Ayamax replied, pushing me through the corridor of darkness. I fell through the other side, which led directly off the castle. I almost fell, but a hand caught me, keeping me on the roof.

"Hold on, you don't want to fall off there." I recognized the voice.

I looked back, seeing that it was Kuxsara who had caught me. The Corridor of Darkness closed, and another opened up behind it. Kuxsara pulled me back onto the ledge, enveloping me in an embrace.

"You all right Axinoku?"

I laughed. "Maybe a little better if you would let me breathe."

"Oh, sorry," she said, letting me out of the embrace. Looking over I saw Ayamax head back into the castle, smirking.

"Er... Thanks for saving me, Kuxsara." I said, feeling a little embarrassed.

She laughed again. I was beginning to enjoy that sound. "No problem. I came up to here to see if maybe you were done talking to Ayamax, which evidently you are."

I looked at her, nodding. "Yeah, I am. I was helping her with her mission. What did you want?"

She looked at her feet, seeming a little embarrassed. She stumbled over her words a little. "I... I wanted... To see if maybe... You wanted... To hang out?" She looked up at me, then looked back at her feet quickly.

I laughed again. "Sure, but on one condition."

She looked up, very surprised. "What's that?"

I flashed her a grin. "Look me in the eyes. Meet you at Radiant Garden." I fell backwards off the castle, turning in mid-air so I could see the ground. I opened up a corridor of darkness, on the ground, and fell into it. It was an exhilarating experience. I looked around at the lanes between, slowing myself to land on my feet.

"What took you so long?"

I looked below me. Kuxsara was already there.

"Heheh. I was making a plan." I melted into the darkness, becoming one with it, and emerged from it in Radiant Garden. Shadow Walking. It was the ace up my sleeve in this race.

Chapter VI: Forgotten Yet Remembered

I walked out of the shadows, emerging on a ledge of the castle in Radiant Garden. Out in the distance, I could see another castle. It was falling apart, crumbling to dust.

Beautiful place this is becoming. Too bad it's constantly changing. I need a new map just about every time I'm here.

I looked down, trying to see where Kuxsara had wound up. She probably wound up in about the center of Radiant Garden, or so. I was then hit by a beam of light from the ground, knocking me off the ledge.

Forgot about the Claymore Defense System. For use against Heartless, Nobodies, and whatever we are.

I cast Aeroga, spinning myself in a whirlwind that set me gently on the ground. I dodged another beam of light from the ground, cursing my forgetfulness.

Not the best place for a first date... Wait, a date? I guess it is.

I opened up another Corridor of Darkness, walking through it before the Claymore System could strike me again. Kuxsara waited for me on the other side, grinning mischievously.

"I wondered how long it would take you to remember the Claymore Defense System."

I gave a big laugh, a grin back on my face. "Took being struck by it to remember."

"So, how about me?"

I stopped grinning. So I did know her somehow. This was going to suck to tell her. "We all lost something. I lost my memories of everything but Ayamax."

The smile left her face, and she frowned, nodding. "Yeah, I can see why you wouldn't forget her. She was essential to your being. Had you forgotten her, you probably would have lost your existence."

We sat in silence in the Lanes Between for awhile. She scooted closer to me, and rested her head on my shoulder.

"I'm guessing we were close then?" I asked, grinning again.

She looked up at me, smiling her beatific smile again. "You loved Ama- er, Ayamax, more. You always have. However, when you finally got past the hurt, you noticed me. You still wanted Ayamax more, but as long as she didn't want you, you had me. You said you would always love me, even if Ayamax did love you, you wouldn't forget me."

"Looks like I failed, huh?" I frowned. I couldn't remember her.

She shook her head, wrapping her arms around my waist. "It's not your fault. Besides, you didn't totally forget."

I gave her a quizzical look. "I don't remember anything about you."

She looked up at me again, smiling. "Your not flinching away. You don't remember you love me, but you love me nonetheless."

We continued sitting in silence. I wrapped my arms around Kuxsara, drawing her closer. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a colorful blur run past me.

I just can't have a moment, can I?

"So... What did you lose?" I asked, slowly rising to my feet.

Kuxsara looked up at me, a slightly worried look on her face. "Don't go. I lost you. I don't want to lose you again."

"You won't lose me," I replied, "I just see something moving out there."

"Well, be careful."

"Says the girl who jumped off a castle." I replied, giving her a laugh.

"Yep. So don't get yourself eliminated."

A large dark hand shot out from the darkness of the Lanes Between, grabbing for me. I dodge rolled out of the way, and the creature stepped out of the darkness, revealing it's full form.

It was a Dreadnought, A large, powerful -Not to mention colorful-, Emblem Heartless.

"Well then, we better take care of this thing." I said, a grin spreading across my face.

"Guess so. Try to keep up!" She replied, jumping toward the Dreadnought.

"Sorry, guess this won't be the best first date ever."

"See? You do love me."

I grinned at the ridiculousness of the conversation we were having before a fight with a Dreadnought.
"Guess so. Don't get too attached, we need to live through this first." I said, rushing toward the Dreadnought, with Kuxsara following close behind.

Chapter VII: Assault Of The Dreadnought

The Dreadnought roared at us, assembling and disassembling. I glared at it, determined to beat the hell out of it. Kuxsara summoned her scythe, quickly dodging a blow from the Dreadnoughts fist. It towered over us, much taller than any other Heartless I had fought before. The crystal on its left hand glowed, and A burst of fire came out of its hand, homing in on us. I cast Aeroga, using it as a shield. The fire was dispelled, and I fired off a couple of Fire attacks myself. They hit the Dreadnought, but it barely felt them. Kuxsara slashed at the Dreadnought with her scythe. I summoned my keyblade and fired off a blizzard spell.

Frickin' things have no weakness!

Kuxsara struck the Dreadnought's head, embedding her Scythe in it's armored helmet. She hung from it, unable to pull herself free.  The Dreadnought reached for her, but quickly realized that its arms couldn't bend enough to grab her. The bottom portion detached, and formed itself into a Dreadnought Delta. It grabbed her from the floating Dreadnought pieces. The Dreadnought Delta reattached, keeping Kuxsara trapped under its foot. I rushed at it, determined to rescue her. The Dreadnought slammed its fist into the ground, creating a giant shock wave that sent me flying. I threw my keyblade at its face, striking it in the crack between the two halves in its helmet. It roared in pain, and lifted its foot long enough for me to dive for Kuxsara, and slide out from under it with her. We both resummoned our weapons, turning back around to face our enemy. The head of the Dreadnought had a gleaming crack in it.

"Fire!" I yelled, blasting a fireball at the crack.

"Blizzard!" Kuxsara yelled, doing the same with a shard of ice.

The blasts struck the crack in the Dreadnought's helmet. The Dreadnought gave a scream as the head shattered in a burst of light, releasing a Heart from it, which floated upward, heading for the World that Never Was. The two remaining pieces split apart, forming themselves into A Dreadnought Beta, and A Dreadnought Delta. The Alpha rushed at Kuxsara, leaving me to deal with the Delta.

Only one option left.

"Kuxsara!" I yelled, turning to look at her, "Trinity Limit!"

Kuxsara nodded her understanding. I raised my keyblade into the air, forming an orb of darkness. Kuxsara raised her scythe into the air, forming an orb of light. After a couple of seconds, we pointed our weapons at each other, and fired the orbs. They met in mid-air, colliding with a boom so loud it broke the sound barrier. Two seconds after the boom, the Orbs exploded, bathing the Dreadnought pieces in a bright blue light. Cracks started appearing in the pieces, until they finally shattered, each of them releasing a heart. A shattering scream sound resounded through the Lanes Between. I rushed towards Kuxsara, enfolding her in an embrace, she pulled herself closer into it, placing her head on my chest. I looked into her glowing green eyes, and found myself entranced.

"You... Are a good fighter." I mumbled, trying to think of something to say.

She laughed. "You're so stupid sometimes. Just kiss me."

I happily obliged, wrapping my lips hungrily around hers.

Chapter VIII: Arrangements

1 week, 3 days later...

I hadn't been able to talk to Ayamax in awhile, and it was really starting to annoy me. She had been avoiding me since I came back from the lanes between with Kuxsara. I merged with the shadows, hoping to catch her unawares. I waited for multiple hours, hiding near her room. It was three hours before she finally walked by.

"Amaya!" I yelled, jumping out of the shadows and pinning her to the ground. She growled at me, and bared her teeth, trying to bite me.

"Hold on Amaya! You've been avoiding me! Why?"

Ayamax continued struggling for a bit before she finally lowered her heead to the floor and answered. "I don't want to get between you and Kuxsara..."

I laughed. "Is that all? Listen Amaya, you can't get between us. You're my best friend, but you don't love me, I can respect that. So i'm going to be your best friend. I'll prove it to you, too."

Ayamax looked at me quizzically. "First off: Why are you calling me Amaya? That's not my name anymore... Second off: Good, now there will be no awkwardness. Thirdly: How will you prove it?"

"Um..." I said, helping her up off the ground. "Let's see here... Um, I don't know. Yeah. And... It's a surprizse? In that order."

Ayamax began assembling what I said in her mind, A slightly frustrated look on her face. "Oh... Okay then."

I began walking away, but an Idea occured to me. "Hey, Amaya?"

She turned, shaking her head. "Call me Ayamax, but yeah?"

"Wanna hang out at the ledge later? I'm going to invite Kuxsara, too, if you want to."

Ayamax thought about it for a moment before replying. "Yeah. I'd like that."

"Cool." I said, grinning. "I'll tell Kuxsara then." I melded into the shadows before she could say another word.

I looked around the castle for Kuxsara, before deciding to ask Nistaxu if he knew where she was. After all, it was possible she was on a mission. I opened a corridor of darkness, walking through it into Where Nothing Gathers. It was a room consisting of thrones set in a circle, 13 of them. Each was a different height, which was determined by the person sitting in it. I always kept mine higher than Nistaxu's, more out of friendly rebellion than anything else.  I sat in my throne. Anytime someone sat here, Nistaxu was alerted, so he usually caame to investigate.

"Greetings, friend." Nistaxu said, emerging in darkness on his throne.

"'Sup, Nistaxu?" I said, keeping it informal just to spite him. "Would you happen to know where Kuxsara is?"

"She is on a mission to the Pridelands. She is eliminating a large Emblem Heartless."

I stared at him, a little pissed. "You knew I'd want to go, didn't you?"

"Well... I had hoped."

"I hate you so much sometimes..."

"Go."

I opened a corridor of darkness on the back of my throne and fell in, landing in the lanes between.

Okay, next stop: The Pridelands...

Chapter IX: Pridelands

I stepped out of the Corridor of darkness, barely registering my change into a lion cub.

I hate being a lion so much. Using the Keyblade is so awkward.

I ran around for awhile, getting used to my lion body. I summoned my keyblade, wielding it in my mouth. I took a few playful swings at a rock, and faded it out of existence. I looked around hoping that Kuxsara would be close by. I saw something only a little way off, and ran towards it, hoping it would be Kuxsara. As I ran towards it, the figure separated into three distinct figures.

"Hey, hey hey! Look what we have here Shenzi!" Said one of the figures as it approached me, licking its chops. It appeared to be a spotted Hyena, which the other two appeared to be as well.

"No way? A lion cub? This is too good to be true.!" Replied the one called Shenzi, obviously a female.. "Banzai, you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Maybe... A lion buffet?" Replied the first one, Banzai. "Ed?"

The third Hyena, Ed, gave a psychotic laugh, his eyes facing two different directions while his tongue hung out.

"Hey, I got an Idea." I said, slowly backing up.

"Oh, whazzat little lion dude?" Asked Banzai, smiling.

"Run!" I said, taking off. I ran through the canyon I was in, the Hyenas right on my tail. Literally. I stopped at a cliff, looking at the bottom. There was a lake below.

"Heheheh. Nowhere to run, Lion." Said Shenzi, walking slowly toward me.

"Hey Lion, what's your name, anyway? I like to know what I'm eating." Said Banzai, while Ed Laughed maniacally some more.

I backed up, nearly slipping off the cliff. "My name," I said, preparing to jump, "Is Axinoku." I jumped off the cliff, landing in the lake below. I opened my eyes, looking around in the water. I saw a few hippos, but that was all. I swam towards the shore of the lake. When I reached the beach, I collapsed, not even bothering to shake off the water. I fell asleep, totally exhausted.

I was startled awake by someone tackling me and yelling "Axinoku!" Instinctively, I bit them, but I let go at the yelp of pain. "Kuxsara?" I asked.

"Yep." She said. She was a Lion, but her fur was pink, and I recognized alot of her features, even on the Lion body.

"Sorry." I said slowly. "I thought you might be a hyena."

She laughed a low, growl-like laugh. "Those three give you trouble, too?"

"Yeah." I said, grinning.

"Why didn't you fight them?"

I smacked my face with my paw at my own thoughtlessness. "Didn't occur to me at the moment."

She laughed at me again, then motioned for me to follow her with her paw. "C'mon! I made some friends I want you to meet!" She said excitedly.

"Well, any friend of yours is a friend of mine." I said, chasing after her.

Chapter X: Kiara and Kovu

Kuxsara led me to another lake, where two young lion cubs lie waiting for us. They raised their heads as we approached, alerted to our presence.

"Kuxsara, who's that?" Asked the tan one, a female.

"This is Axinoku, he's... very important to me."

"Very important?" I whispered in her ear.

"Yeah, I don't know if they would understand the concept of a boyfriend." She whispered back.

"He looks like an outsider." Said the darker one, obviously a male judging by the mane growing on his back.

"He's not an outsider, Kovu." She said to the male lion cub. "Axinoku, these are Kiara and Kovu. Kiara is the tan female, Kovu is the darker colored male. They helped me out with the hyenas earlier."

"Hyenas?" I asked, a little concerned. The feeling passed, she was obviously safe. "Well thank you, you two." I laid down in the sand, and motioned for Kuxsara to lie next to me. She did, and I placed my arm over her. I listened as her breathing slowed. She was obviously exhausted, she had fallen asleep.

"So where are you from?" Asked Kiara, her head turned at a slight angle.

"Far away. Where we are from it is very... dark. Dark and stormy." I replied. I was going to give Kuxsara a light kiss on the forehead, but I realized I couldn't, so I settled for nuzzling her neck.

"It sounds like the shadowlands." Said Kovu.

"It is... similar." I said, placing my face back on the sand.

Kovu nodded his head, seeming to understand. "Is your king nice?"

"King?" I asked, a little puzzled.

"Y'know, the ruler of your pride." Kiara added to Kovu's question.

"He's... Okay I guess. I mean, There's thirteen of us, and, well. I'm next in line, so..."

"I was next in line once..." Reminisced Kovu.

I nodded, noticing a slight slithering sound. "You guys hear that?" I said, a little loudly.

"Hmm?" Asked Kuxsara, roused from her sleep.

There was a crashing sound as a huge set of green tooth-filled jaws snapped closed next to Kovu. Kovu snarled in surprise, and Kiara bolted. Scared out of her wits. Kovu chased after her, not willing to lose her yet. The head the jaws were attatched to turned toward me, its yellow eye glaring at me. I recognized the creature as a crocodile.

"Kuxsara, back to the castle, you can't use your scythe very well as a lion." I said, jumping in front of her. I snarled at the crocodile, and it gave me a look of slight amusement. Kuxsar nodded. She opened a corridor of darkness next to her and ran through. I snarled again, summoning my keyblade. The crocodile snapped at me, lunging even further out of the water. I jumped back, readying myself to strike. The crocodile drew back into the water, trying to draw me in. Its yellow eyes glared at me as I drew closer. I jumped spinning in a somersault with my keyblade. I gave the crock a hard blow to the head, and it snapped at me, flinging me into the water. The crocodile lunged up from underneath me, trying to swallow me whole. I let my claws out and gripped the crocodiles snout. It came crashing back down into the water, and I jumped off of it, landing on the shore opposite where I started. I turned around. The crocodile was staring at me, keeping only its face above the water. I stared back, and was surprised when the crocodile gave me a small wink, then sank back into the lake.

I just got winked at... by a crocodile...

I shook my head, and opened a corridor of darkness. I stepped through, emerging back in the castle of the World that Never Was. I checked myself quickly, I was fully human again. I glanced to my side, and saw Kuxsara approaching me with a grin on her face. I nodded toward her, and a thought occured to me.

"Hey Kuxsara?" I asked, letting a smile spread across my face.

"Yeah?" She asked, a little wierded out by my smile.

I swallowed and took a deep breath. I felt very nervous for some reason. "Would you wanna hang out with me and Ayamax later? We're gonna meet at the ledge, and I'd like you to be there."

She paused, and put her hand to her face, looking thoughtful for a moment. She lowered her hand, and she smiled at me, her bright green eyes seeming to glow. "Sure, I'd love too. See you later." She said, walking away.

I grinned. I walked towards my room, hoping to take a nap. I passed through the gray area, where I saw Xyru and Kuxah sitting next to each other. Kuxah was leaning on Xyru's shoulder, silently reading a book, with Xyru's arm wrapped around her. The sight of them together widened my smile. Xyru had lost the ability to hear, and Kuxah had lost the ability to speak. They were a good fit. I opened the door to my room, and collapsed in a heap on my bed.

So exhausted... I can't believe a crocodile winked at me... how weird. Those were my final thoughts before I fell asleep.

Chapter XI: Sea-Salt Ice-Cream

I was aware of a gentle knocking on my forehead as I came to a sleeping-wake.

"Hellooooooo?" Asked Kuxsara, as I pulled apart my eyelids. "Are you still there?"

I mumbled, not really even trying to form a coherent response. I rolled over and tried to ignore her.

"Now that just won't do. I thought we were going to meet with Ayamax on the ledge." I was aware that Kuxsara was approaching my bed again, but I was caught completely by surprise when she flipped me off my bed. I lay on the cold floor a moment, a little startled. "Are you up now?" She asked, "Or do I need to do that again?"

"Alright, alright, I'm up." I grumbled, pulling myself off the floor. "I was having a pretty good nap."

"I'm sure you were," Replied Ayamax, grinning cheerfully. "It took me a solid ten minutes to wake you up."

I slouched over to my cloak, which was on my chair, and threw it on. I glanced at Kuxsara. It was amazing that, despite everyone dressed the same, she looked so stunning. I chuckled, and pointed at the bag she carried in her hand. "What's that?" I asked, curious.

"You'll have to wait and see!" She said, pulling the bag towards her defensively.

"Fine." I said, shrugging. "Let's go to the ledge." I walked out the door of my room, and proceded down the hall. I didn't bother to check to see if Kuxsara had followed. I knew she would, and I was right. She appeared at my side a few moments later, keeping stride with me. I jumped through the nobody insignia carved in the wall, and landed on the ledge outside. I sat next to Ayamax, who was already there. Kuxsara joined us a moment later.

"Hey," I said to Ayamax, grinning, "Fancy meeting you here."

"Shut up." She said, grinning. "Kuxsara? What's with the bag?"

Kuxsara grinned, and pulled the bag open excitedly. "It's a present, for all of us."

"Oh really?" I asked, and just what might it be?"

Kuxsara kept grinning, and pulled what appeared to be three blue Ice-cream bars from the bag.

"Ice-cream?" Asked Ayamax, chuckling a little.

"Not just any ice-cream." Said Kuxsara, still grinning. "Sea-salt ice-cream. Only available in Twilight Town. Best ice-cream ever. One for each of us." Kuxsara handed one to Ayamax, and one to me.

"On three?" I asked, grinning at Kuxsara and Ayamax.

"Sure!" They both replied eagerly.

"Ready? One... Two... Three!" I bit into the ice-cream bar, and the other two did the same. It was very good. "It's salty... but sweet." I exclaimed, a little surprised.

"Way to state the obvious, Axinoku." Said Ayamax, shaking her head. "But it is very good."

"We need to meet like this everyday..." I said, "We're friends, and that's what friends do, right? They hang out with each other."

Kuxsara nodded, and Ayamax gave a slight nod as well.

"Then it's settled." I said, and held out my Ice-cream bar. It took the others a moment to realize what I was doing, but then they too held out there ice-cream bars, and we toasted to our friendship.

Chapter XII: Faces of the Organization

"You're running a bit behind schedule, Axinoku."

I bolted upright, my face nearly colliding with the monitor hanging from the ceiling. I gazed up at Saix in anger. "A little warning or something would be nice next time." I said, rubbing the back of my head.

"This was your warning. Get up. Nistaxu has called together a meeting Where Nothing Gathers."

"Yeah, yeah..." I replied, laying back down to head back to sleep.

"You can't miss this one. If you fall back asleep, I shall begin electrocuting you."

"No way! You wouldn't do that to the second in command!" I laughed, grinning widely.

"Get up." Saix repeated, sounding a little bit enthused. I closed my eyes, and waited for him to go away. I began feeling a prickling sensation on my back, which quickly turned into a burning pain.

"Ow!" I yelled, jumping out of my bed.

"I gave you fair warning. Get to Where Nothing Gathers. Now."

I watched the monitor retract back into the ceiling, and threw my cloak on, grumbling. After I pulled my hood up, I opened a corridor of darkness. I walked through it, and reappeared the next moment, sitting in my throne. I sat myself in it sideways, so that I was closer to laying in it than sitting in it.

"Greeting, friends." Said Nistaxu, his voice as monotonous as ever. "Now all members are here, and the meeting begins."

"Yeah, yeah." I said, already loosing my patience, "What is it you want, anyways?"

"Y'know, if you shut up and listen, you just might find out." Said Xidust, from acroos the room. He ran his hand through his blonde hair, and grinned mischeviously. I glared at him, which wiped the smirk off his face.

"What I have gathered you here to say is this: I believe the Keybladers are onto us."

Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw words forming in the air. I turned my head, trying to get a better look. I recognized them as Kuxah's, and noticed they had appeared in front of Xyru.

Oh, I see... She's providing captions for him, how sweet...

I turned back to Nistaxu. "So?" I asked, wondering what his point was.

"Are you an idiot or something?" Asked Stoxok, frowning at me. "Obviously it means we need to be careful. Sora eliminated the original Organization XIII almost single-handedly. If they all work together, it's highly likely they could do the same to us."

I bit my toungue, holding back an insult. I almost forgot that Stoxok had power over memories, and I didn't want to know what he would do if I pissed him off.

"Stoxok is correct. You must all be careful on your missions. Especially you, Xarbem. You do not need to destroy an entire city to eliminate a singles heartless."

I looked at Xarbem, who sat next to Xidust. She grinned at Nistaxu, showing her bright white teeth.  She laughed, and her blue hair shook as she laughed. I noticed then that she also had amber eyes.

She looks a bit like Saix... I mentally noted to myself.

"It seemed easier to eliminate the world. After all, Purebloods can't infest a world if it no longer exists."

Nistaxu frowned at her, and threw down his hood. He had an eyepatch over his right eye, which I knew he had because of me, though I didn't remember destroying his right eye. His other eye was blood-red, and this eye stared at Xarbem with such intensity that she was momentarily cowed.

"Okay, Nistaxu." Said Ayamax, speaking up for the first time, "I think we get it: Be careful. That's the message right?"

"Er, well... In a nutshell, yes. I suppose that is my message."

"Good." She said nodding.

"Well, er... Everyone is dismissed."

I opened a corridor, happy to be out of there.

"No, Axinoku. You and Kuxsara stay. Front and center."

I jumped down to the center of the circular room, and Kuxsara jumped down next to me.

"Now..." He said, placing the tips of his fingers together, "Would you care to explain why that Emblem Heartless was not eliminated yesterday?"

"Er..." I began, unsure how to answer.

"It's my fault." Said Kuxsara, surpirising me. "I was unable to find it. I will return to find it today."

"Yes. You will."

"I'm going with her." I said, keeping my face straight.

"Why? There is no need to make up for her failure."

"It's not just her fault." I said, sighing. We were attacked by a crocodile, and I forced her to leave. I completely forgot the heartless afterwards, and left to find her."

"I see..." said Nistaxu, placing his face on his fist.

Kuxsara and I lowered our gaze, feeling a little ashamed of ourselves.

"Well then... Both of you go. Eliminate the Emblem Heartless. Succede today, or else..." Nistaxu dissapeared into a corridor of darkness, leaving the threat hanging in the air.

"Well... Guess it's to the pridelands again, huh?" I said, grinning.

"After you." Replied Kusara, opening a corridor of darkness.

"Why thank you, my lady." I said, stepping through.

"Of course, kind sir." She said, following after me. We both broke out laughing, and opened another corridor into the pridelands.

Chapter XIII: Vissett

I stepped through the portal, accustoming myself to my lion cub body again. I glanced over at Kuxsara, who merely grinned and bounded toward the ravine, happily laughing. I joined her, reveling in the joy. After a little while of running, I noticed a sound in the distance.

"Wait!" I said, motioning to Kuxsara to stop, "Do you hear that?"

Kuxsara cocked her head, listening closer. "Yeah... I think I do..."

"Does it sound like maniachal laughter?" I asked, grinning.

"Yep. Hyenas, right?"

"Most likely." I replied, running to the lake in front of us. It looked familiar, so I figured it was probably safe.

I turned, and watched as the Hyenas closed in on us. I backed up to the lake, keeping it as an option.

"Yo!" Yelled Banzai, noticing who we were, "You two? Ah, Axinoku, right?"

"Yeah, yeah!" said Shenzi, nodding vigorously while Ed rattled his head around, slobbering in the dirt, "Yeah, and his mate, Kuxsara!"

"Er, mate?" I asked, looking over at Kuxsara.

"Well, it is the jungle..."

"The mighty jungle, man!" Agreed Banzai, grinning hungrily.

"Where the lions feed us tonight!" Added Shenzi, who also looked hungry.

"Yeahyeahyeah!" Ed nodded his head vigorously, slobbering on the dirt and laughing.

I glanced back at the water, and for the first time noticed a large yellow eye staring at me through the water. It winked once and dissapeared underwater. I looked back at the Hyenas and laughed.

"You three hungry then?" I asked, trying to keep from smiling.

"Yo man, we always hungry!" Replied Banzai, who now looked angry.

"Yeah, ever since Scar got bumped off by Simba, we've been struggling just to survive!" Added Shenzi, shaking her head.

Ed began pacing, he had grown bored with the conversation.

"Yo guys! They're just stalling! Let's just eat them!" Screamed Banzai, growing angry.

The three hyenas lunged at us, and I tackled Kuxsara out of the way as the Crocodile lunged out of the water, and snapped its jaws at the hyenas. The hyenas yelped in surprise, confused by the crocodile's sudden appearance. They turned tail and ran, completely scared by the crocodile. The crocodile came down on the sand hard, and appeared to grimace. It lay there on the sand, and blinked slowly in pain.

"Hey? You're the crocodile from the other day, right?" I asked, inching towards it.

"Yessssss." Hissed the crocodile, slowly blinking with it's large yellow eyes.

"You saved us?" Asked Kuxsara, who was confused.

"Yessssss." Replied the crocodile, who laid there, and made itself comfortable.

"Why?" Asked Kuxsara.

"Becaussssssse... You are... not from here... You are... new to the jungle... I musssst help... It is only... fair." The Crocodile slowly replied.

"Well, thank you." I said, nodding, "Um, what is your name?"

"My name... isssss Vissssett" The crocodile hissed, grumbling.

"Well, thank you, Vissett. If ever you need something, you can count on us."

"Thanksssss. I'll remember... that." grumbled Vissett. I watched as he slithered slowly back into the water, and gave us a final wink before descending to its depths.

I looked at Kuxsara, who appeared absolutely stunned.

"I told you I was winked at by a Crocodile." I said, and grinned wildly.

Chapter XIV: Finding The Emblem

Kuxsara and I walked away from the watering hole, wondering where in the world this giant Emblem was supposed to be.

"Y'know..." Began Kuxsara, looking to the east.

"No, no I don't, because you're not telling me."

"Right... Well, Kiara and Kovu are probably going to be wandering around..."

"Uh-huh." I said, stopping and turning to look at her.

"Well," She said, her green eyes brightening, "We should go see them!"

"No." I said, turning away so I wouldn't see the dissapointment in her eyes.

"Wait! Think about it." She said, placing a paw on my flank to stop me from walking off. "If anyone were to notice a disturbance in the Pridelands, it would probably be those two." She grinned, glad at having found a way to see her friends and do her job at the same time.

"Yeah... You're right..." I agreed, grudgingly.

"Yay, yay yay!" Yelled Kuxsara, jumping for joy. I watched her for a moment, her happiness bringing a grin to my lion face.

"Calm down, Kuxsara. Where would they be?" I asked, knowing she probably knew where they would be.

"Well..." She said, looking thoughtful, "They agreed to meet in Wildebeast Valley everyday so they could see each other. If I had to make a guess, I would guess they'd be there."

"Well, lead the way, let's go." I said, falling into line behind her. She led us through the Pridelands, past a strange outcropping of rocks that had a cave and a strange pointy part. "What's that?" I asked, noticing the lions around it.

"Pride rock. It's where Kiara and her family lives."

"Oh, well where does Kovu live?" I asked, beginning to get confused.

"The shadowlands... remember?" Kuxsara replied, eyes filled with concern.

"Oh, right, I remember now. Don't worry, my memory is still intact." I said, grinning a mischevious grin.

Kuxsara nodded, and we kept walking through the Pridelands. Eventually we came to the canyon known as Wildebeast Valley.

"So, do we just wander 'til we find them?" I asked, looking at the vast ravine before us.

"Pretty much." Said Kuxsara, looking into the ravine, noticing something I hadn't.

"What's that look on your face, Kuxsara?"

"I see them! They're down there! It's almost as if... They're fighting something invisible..." She murmured, not trusting her own eyes.

"What if that's why we couldn't find the Heartless? Maybe it's invisible." I said, glancing over the edge. I saw Kiara and Kovu. Kiara was on the ground, unconcious, and Kovu was darting around, making quick, dodging movements. The creature fighting him gave a bellow, and shed its invisibility. It looked similar to a large chameleon, only it was green, and covered in tribal-looking tattoos. It reared onto it's hind legs, exposing the Heartless symbol on its chest.

"There's our missing Heartless..." I said, looking upon it with interest. "A Stealth Sneak, is it not?"

The heartless roared at Kovu, and knocked him to the ground with its massive three-fingered hand.

"Looks like it!" Yelled Kuxsara, jumping into the gorge.

I watched as she tumbled down the walls, and came to a graceful stop at the bottom. She then proceeded to run at the Stealth Sneak, summoning her scythe as she ran.

"She's so impulsive..." I muttered, secretly pleased with the girl I loved. I jumped off the side of the ravine after her, ready to fight this battle by her side, and eliminate the Emblem Heartless we had been tasked to destroy.

Chapter XV: Stealthsneak

I ran after Kuxsara, hoping that I would be able to catch up to her before we reached the Stealthsneak. I managed to and turned towards her to instruct her. "Go keep Kovu safe. I'll take care of the Stealthsneak, okay?"

She nodded, affirming her understanding. She took off at an angle from me, making sure she got to Kovu before the Stealthsneak could find him again. I roared, trying to get the Stealthsneaks attention. It worked, and it cocked its head so it could see me, its eye making quick darting motions as it tried to keep me in its sight.

I rushed it, still roaring. The stealthsneak made a sort of screaching noise as it ran at me, disappearing.

"Frick!" I yelled, realizing how complicated this would get.

"Thunder!" I heard the yell from behind me. I turned and saw Kuxsara, her scythe held in her mouth and pointed upwards. The lightning hit a point not far in front of me. The Stealthsneak screeched, it had been caused enough pain that it had become visible again. I jumped, and stabbed it through the chest with my keyblade. It screeched again, swiping at me. I slid between its legs, and it turned, its eyes glowing a bright white. Kuxsara kept running toward it as it reared itself, and fired a laser blast at me from its eyes. I tried to dodge it, but I realized it was following me, So I held up my keyblade and blocked it. The Stealthsneak screched again. Kuxsara had reached it and had sliced at its legs. The stealthsneak collapsed so that it was back on four legs. It screeched at me, and started firing off a continuous blast of the homing lasers.

"Kuxsara! You draw the fire so I can release its heart!" Kuxsara nodded, which is a much harder to notice movement when you are a lion.

Kuxsara ran, and the homing laser blast followed her. I rushed at the Stealthsneak, which was still screeching. I ran me keyblade through it, and slashed it down the side. The stealthsneak gave a final, pitiful screech, as it crystalized and burst into light. The released heart floated up from the light, going off to join Kingdom Hearts, to help the Organization in its completion.

"Well," I said, turning to look at Kuxsara, "What now?"

Chapter XVI: Meet The Parents

Posted Image

I walked over to check on Kovu and Kiara. Kovu got up groggily as I walked over. He stumbled around a bit, trying to get a sure footing. When he was able to stand, he started nudging Kiara, who gave out a low moan. Kovu went to nudge her again, but there was a sudden roar and a large adult male lion was blocking his path and snarling at him. I began running over to help Kovu, but Kuxsara stopped me.

"No! That's Kiara's father, Axinoku!" She said.

I nodded, showing her my understanding.

Another Lion, this one darker and a female, Jumped in front of Kovu. She roared back at Kiara's father.

"You don't belong here, Outlander!" Snarled the Male, whose name was Simba, "You have broken the rules, and you know the penalties."

"But the boy does not!" Snarled back Zira, the female, "Will you punish him for that which he does not know?"

"You should have kept him away from here!" Simba was still snarling.

"I can't watch him all the time, now can I? Nonetheless, if the law must be upheld, then here..." Zira pushed Kovu toward Simba. Kovu looked scared out of his wits. "... Kill him."

I looked over at Kuxsara in astonishment. "Shouldn't we do something?"

She shook her head sadly. "We can't. These are their rules. They have to resolve it themselves."

Simba glared at Kovu. Kovu was still shivering in fear. "Take him and leave." Simba said, resignedly.

Zira flashed a sort of smirk at Simba, as if she had known what his choice would be. She picked up Kovu in her mouth, and Kovu waved goodbye sadly to Kiara.

"What about these two?" Yelled Simba, indicating us.

"They are not shadowlanders. They are your problem." She yelled back, then ran off towards her home.

Simba stared at us a moment, sizing us up. "Offworlders, right?" He asked, sighing.

"Y-yeah." I stammered. "How did you know?" Kuxsara walked closer to me, keeping her eyes on Simba.

"That's a keyblade, right?" He asked. I nodded, I wasn't sure howhe knew. "Sora was the only other person I've seen wield that, and he was an Offworlder." He said.

"You knew Sora?" Asked Kuxsara.

"Yeah." Said Simba, "He helped me win my pride back from the clutches of Scar, and then helped me fight off his ghost."

"Oh." I said. I wasn't sure whatto do. Sora was one of our enemies, we couldn't really tell Simba that, though.

"If you two don't mind, please leave and never come back. I think you two are causeing more problems than neccesary." I nodded. I was sure I could arrange that with Nistaxu.

"Thanks." Said Simba. He picked up Kiara in his mouth and walked off toward Pride Rock.

I opened up a corridor of darkness. "Come on, Kuxsara."

Kuxsara ran over to me, and let out a sigh. "I'm going to miss those two."

"Yeah." I walked through the Corridor of Darkness. I was ready to be done with this mission.

Chapter XVII: The Scarred Face

When I walked through the other side of the corridor, I ran into someone. A very stocky someone. I lifted my face up and looked into the glaring face of Mixatu.

"Boss wants to see you." He said, then pushed me aside and walked past me. Kuxsara appeared by my side, anxiously watching Mixatu leave.

"He's so... Stern, I guess." She said, a smile already on her face. "So, we hit the ledge tonight, right?" She asked, hope already forming in her emerald green eyes.

"In a bit. Nistaxu needs to see me." I opened up a corridor of Darkness and stepped through, wondering what in the world Nistaxu could want from me.

I re-emerged on the other side in my throne. I looked down and to my right. Nistaxu was sitting their, his hood pulled down for once. I forced my eyes to look away from the eyepatch and the scarred side of his face.

"Lower your throne from now on. I know why you do it, but you're causing disorder and dissension along the ranks."

I sighed. Reluctantly I lowered my throne, just a little bit lower than his, almost not noticeable.

"Thank you."

I laid myself sideways in my chair. "I have plans tonight chief, what am I here for?" I asked, staring up at the ceiling.

Nistaxu raised his hood back up. "It's about a certain... Someone..."

I sat bolt up. "Are you implying something about Kuxsara?" I asked, almost snarling.

Nistaxu gave a mild chuckle. "No, not Kuxsara. Xarbem."

"Oh." I said, relaxing back into my seat. "What of her?"

Nistaxu turned his hooded head toward me. "She must be eliminated. She is a liability."

I bolted up again. "She's a member of the Organization! We can't just eliminate her!"

"We can and we must. Specifically, YOU must." Nistaxu responded, turning back away. "This mission will be carried out tomorrow. Eliminate her. Or never come back." Nistaxu dissappeared through a corridor of Darkness, and I followed suite, emerging from the corridor on our ledge.

"That was quick." Ayamax said, handing me a sea-salt Icecream as I sat down on the ledge between her and Kuxsara. Kuxsara leaned against me, and I wrapped my left arm around her. "What did he want?" Ayamax asked.

"To brief me on my mission tomorrow. I will be paired with Xarbem. I have to keep her in check." I cooly lied.

Ayamax nodded, and looked out into the darkness.

"Good mission today, Ayamax?" Kuxsara asked, finished with her icecream.

"I had to eliminate a pack of Novashadow." Ayamax said, straightening up.

I sighed. "I'm just not feeling it today." I said, thinking of my mandatory mission tomorrow. "I'm going to bed." I gave Kuxsara a kiss on the forehead, and hugged Ayamax before proceding to my room. I laid down, trying not to think of what awaited me tomorrow.

Chapter XVIII: World Of Darkness

I stepped through the corridor of darkness with Xarbem. I tried not to think about what I had to do. I knew bad things could happen if I defied Nistaxu. I looked around at the world we had been sent to. It had almost totally been consumed by darkness. It was so consumed, I couldn't recognize what it might once have been. Nistaxu had said that we were here to hunt an extremely powerful Emblem Heartless... But of course, that was a lie. I was here to eliminate Xarbem, and she was here to be eliminated.

I ran my hand through my hair, annoyed at what I was being forced to do. If I could have run, I would have... But Nistaxu had Kuxsara and Ayamax in his clutches, and he always would, so long as they were in the Organization.

Xarbem turned to face me. "So any Idea how to hunt this heartless down? I'm itching to cause some heavy damage." She gave a malicious grin as she said this.

I kept looking at Xarbem, and shook my head sadly. Best to get it over with quick. I summoned my keyblade, and lunged at her quickly. My blow was blocked by what appeared to be a leg. Looking up the leg, I noticed that it was attatched to a person, and that person, in fact, was Xalex. Xalex pushed through with his leg and knocked me flat on my back.

"Your weapons... are boots?" I asked, gasping. It was humorous, even if they were powerful.

"I knew you still couldn't be trusted. Trying to kill my sister now, huh?" Xalex said, moving in front of Xarbem.

"What do you mean, still?" I asked, pulling myself off the ground.

Xalex opened a corridor of darkness, and threw his sister through it. "So you really don't remember any of it, huh?" He asked, scraping the ground with his boot as the corridor closed. "My sister and I are done with the Organization." He said, giving me a meaningful glare. "Why you tried to kill Xarbem, I don't know. But if our leader trusts you, there is no place for us there." He glanced qat me again, and delivered a powerful kick to my head. I pulled myself off the ground. My forehead was bleeding.

"Nistaxu... Is the one who told me to do this..." I managed to say, gasping for breath. Those kicks were insanely powerful.

"Just as well that we leave then." Xalex said, shaking his head sadly and beginning to walk away. As I watched, a burst of light blasted through him, obliterating his body, and leaving nothing but ashes behind. I looked up to where the blast had come from. Nistaxu was standing there. He walked over to me, and threw me over his shoulder. I heard him say one last thing before I blacked out.

"Don't worry. I eliminated Xarbem as well. Kuxsara is safe."

Chapter XIX: Revival - The Beginning Of The End

I glared at Nistaxu for a moment, and turned on my heel. "I'm done." I said, intending to leave the organization for good.

Nistaxu laughed. "Now, now, Axinoku, if you don't return, then who will protect Ayamax and Kuxsara?"

I turned around, angry. "If you've done something to them, I'll-!"

"I've done nothing that can't be reversed. But you work for me now, no questions asked. I'll give you until the end of the day to make your final decision. Otherwise, neither of them will live through the night." Nistaxu gave a malicious grin as he spoke to me, showing that he was willing to do this.

I kept glaring at him. He merely continued smiling, and formed a corridor of darkness. He was about to walk through it, when A thought entered my mind, and I voiced it to him. "I thought you loved Ayamax?"

Nistaxu's expression became saddened. For a moment, I thought I saw a tear run down his face. But that was impossible. "Once upon a Time, I did." He said, "But you made sure to ruin that, didn't you?" He walked through the corridor. I just stood there, wondering what he had meant. That was the second time that night my past had been mentioned. A past I couldn't remember. What had I done?

I formed a corridor of darkness, and walked through it. I wasn't ready to go home yet, So I went to Halloween Town, it being the first world to cross my mind. I stepped through the portal. I didn't bother changing my look. It wasn't totally necessary here. I stood by the fountain in the center of the square, watching water trickle out of the mouth of the stone monster in the middle of the fountain. My reflection rippled as the water fell, and I gazed at it. Wondering what was going on.

"You really don't remember?" a voice behind me asked. A familiar voice.

I turned around, and found myself facing Xalex. "But you--! Didn't Nistaxu--?"

Xalex just shook his head, smiling sadly. "Yes, and No. Only my sister is truly gone."

I looked down, not willing to meet Xalex's eyes. "I'm sorry. He was threatening to eliminate the two people I care about most. I had to obey him."

"I understand. I would have done the same for Xarbem. I still would do the same for Salindyx. But you wouldn't remember that, right?" He asked. I looked back up. His smile was almost genuine now. "He's going to kill all of them, you know. He's going to kill the entire organization. Only he can afford to escape, and only you and he can."

"Escape?" I asked, perplexed.

"Need to know info, which you don't, yet. Tomorrow, the members are going to start dying. When the battle begins, I'll be there. Follow Nistaxu, fight him to the death. Free Ayamax and Kuxsara, if you can. But remember that eliminating Nistaxu is more important."

I nodded. I didn't totally understand. But I figured I would when I needed to. "Xalex, I'm sorry. I didn't want her to die."

Xalex just kept smiling, in his sad way. "Don't worry about it. Unlock those memories of yours, though. You're going to have to to escape."

"Okay." I said, still not totally certain about what was going to be happening.

"Better get back. It's not good to keep Nistaxu waiting." I nodded. I formed a corridor of darkness and stepped through. One way or another, tomorrow the organization was going to be through.

Chapter XX: Termination Of A Loved One

I stayed out that night, remaining in Halloweentown to sleep. I was awoken by the sound of three children.

"Trick Or Treat!" They yelled. I bolted up. Three children were staring at me, One dressed as a little red devil, one as a little witch, and one as a little skeleton.

"I don't have any treats." I said, shaking my head.

"Oh. Trick then." Said the little devil.

"Here you go!" Shouted the witch, placing a small pumpkin in my hand. The trio ran off snickering, leaving me to wonder what had just happened. I stared at the pumpkin they had handed me, examining it carefully. That's when I noticed a fuse on top. I quickly threw the pumpkin, and it exploded as it flew through the air.

I shook my head resignedly. "Only in Halloweentown..."

I made a corridor of darkness and stepped through, emerging at Memory's Skyscraper in the world that never was. I looked down from the top, and saw Organization XIII below me, fighting off a hoard of pureblood Heartless. I counted only Stoxok, Xidust, and Salindyx among their ranks. I could not find the others.

"Quite the carnage, eh?" Came Xalex's voice from behind me.

"What happened to the others?" I asked, not fazed by Xalex's sudden appearance.

"The truth must be revealed. And for that, the unneccesary and fake must be terminated." He replied, a slightly smug grin on his face.

"The others were terminated?" I asked, wondering what was going on.

"All but Ayamax and Kuxsara, so far." He said, motioning behind him. It was then that I noticed Nistaxu, standing there with Kuxsara facedown in front of him. I didn't see Ayamax though.

Xalex jumped off the building, and joined the fight, helping to eliminate the Heartless. I turned to face Nistaxu, ready for our final confrontation. I jumped, summoning my keyblade. Nistaxu held his ethereal blades up and blocked my blow easily.

"You were never meant to wield the keyblade." He said, as I landed back on the ground. I felt a tugging at my keyblade, and it disappeared from my hands, reappearing seconds later in his. "You were just the delivery boy." He said. Then, he stabbed Kuxsara through with the keyblade. I screamed, and lunged at him, ready to beat him to death with my fists. He jsut stepped out of the way, then walked through a corridor of darkness. I rushed over to Kuxsara, and flipped her onto her back.

"Kuxsara?" I asked gently, prodding her.

She coughed, then held up her fist. She summoned her scythe, and turned to face me. "T-take it..." She said, breathing heavily. I looked at the scythe in her hands, and nodded my understanding. I took it from her grasp, and looked back at her. "I love you Kuxsara. Forever and always."

She smiled, begginning to fade into the light. "So you remember it a little after all." She sighed, and she faded from her existence in a brilliant flash of light. I fell to my knees and started sobbing. Not sure what to do next.

"Go to the Land Of Departure." Said Xalex, back at my side again, seemingly reading my mind. "Go there, and it will lead to your release, and to the potential defeat of Nistaxu, as he seeks release as well." He said. He opened a corridor of darkness, and motioned for me to step through, which I did.

Chapter XXI: The Gatekeeper

I stepped through the corridor of darkness, walking into the land of departure, emerging in the forecourt. I looked around, feeling like something was off. I heard a small chuckle, then turned around to see Xalex behind me.

"Odd, isn't it? This is the land turned into castle Oblivion. It shouldn't exist anymore. This is the last I can help you. Others wait for you." Xalex opened another corridor of darkness, and stepped through it, going to who knows where. I turned around and saw a boy approaching. He was wearing a strange body-tight suit, with an emblem on the chest. I thought it was Riku, but as he got closer, I saw he had Sora's face, only with black hair, and yellow eyes. He walked toward me, a malicious grin on his face.

"Who are you?" I asked, summoning Kuxsara's scythe to my hands.

The boy laughed. "Pathetic. You don't even have a Keyblade anymore."

"Who are you?!" I repeated, irked by his comment.

"You could say I'm the gatekeeper. My name is Vanitas. Not that you'd recognize it." He placed his hand outward, and a light began to shine in it. In it formed a strange weapon, two kingdom keys crossed, with a sword coming from them. He pointed it at my throat, and I realized what it was.

"How did you get the X-blade?" I asked, startled.

Vanitas chuckled sadly. "Only a duplication, nothing here could ever be real." He stepped back into a fighting position. "Now, prove your worthiness to me!" He lunged at me, an evil grin back on his face. I dodged the strike, and knocked him off balance with the back of my scythe."

"What's the matter, whimp, too scared to play?" he taunted, laughing at me still.

I ground my teeth and lunged at him, bringing the scythe down in an arch. He dodged it easily, and blasted a blizzard spell at me. I dropped to the ground before it hit, then quickly rose to my feet. Vanitas was right in front of my face when I stood up. He looked quizzically at me.

"Why try so hard if you're going to fail? Why even bother chasing after Nistaxu?" He asked, laughing again.

I grit my teeth, and gripped the scythe in my hand. "Because there are people I need to protect!" I yelled, lunging at him again, he jumped back, and I lunged at him again. As I lunged, the scythe glowed with a white light. when the light cleared, I was holding a new keyblade, it was shaped similar to a scythe, with a heart formed in the blade, the keychain a cherry blossom.

Vanitas smiled at me again, this time, not so sad. "Good. You pass." He said, and turned toward the castle of the land of departure.

"Pass?" I asked, lowering my keyblade.

Vanitas held up the X-blade, and a beam of light shot out of it to the castle. There was a burst of light, and when I next looked, I faced Castle Oblivion.

"Castle... Oblivion?" I stammered, confused.

"Yep." Said Vanitas, turning back toward me. "I had to draw your keyblade out of you, now that Nistaxu has taken yours. Now you can procede, toward your awakening."

I nodded, and headed for the castle.

"But be warned," he continued from behind me. "Castle Oblivion will not work for you the way it has worked for others." I turned around to thank Vanitas, but when I turned, he was gone. I turned back to the castle door. I pushed it open, and walked inside, the door slamming shut behind me.

I turned to look at it a moment, then faced back forward. When I did, I saw a man wearing the Organization's cloak in front of me.

"Hello, Axinoku." he said, walking toward me.

I know I recognized that voice...

Chapter XXII: Castle Oblivion's Keeper

The man in the cloak walked towards me, and motioned towards the door behind him.

"Welcome," He said, a mystique to his voice, "To Castle Oblivion." He threw a card at me, which I caught in my hand, looking at the picture on it.

"A card?" I asked, perplexed. "No thanks. I don't need to re-explore the past worlds I visited." I walked past him, intent on getting to Nistaxu.

"You've never visited that world." the man said, sighing. "You will visit worlds and complete your way through the memories of things that never happened in order to earn the memories of absolute neccesity to you."

I looked back at him. He was definitely serious. I gazed back at the blue card in my hand. Thinking. "So..." I began, drawing the pieces together. "Is Nistaxu doing the same thing?"

"Similar, but not the same." the figure said, walking towards the door to the next floor. "Use that card to move on. It is the only way forward."

"What world is this?" I asked, not recognizing the picture on the card.

"Destiny Islands..." The figure said sadly.

at last, I recognized the voice speaking to me.

"Thanks... Riku..." I said to the figure. The figure reached back and pulled off his hood. Riku looked back at me, then motioned to the door.

"Go on. Nistaxu awaits." he said, dissappearing.

But what about Ayamax? I wondered, where is she?

I walked up to the door, and held the card before it. There was a bright light and the door opened before me. I walked through, and took my first steps onto Destiny Islands.

Chapter XXIII: Destiny Islands

I stepped out onto the Islands, expecting to find an easygoing time. Instead, I was greeted by a blast of darkness. I got off the ground and saw Xehanort's Heartless in front of me. I saw Sora fighting him, attempting to beat him The island was dark. The water had gone purple, and dark crystal things were sprouting everywhere.. Xehanort's Heartless regarded me a moment, causing Sora to turn and look at me. Xehanort's heartless Knocked Sora down then, dissappearing in a flash. Sora looked up at me, a determined expression on his face.

"If your with him, I will defeat you! I must save Riku!" He lunged at me with his keyblade, and I stepped back quickly to avoid it. Sora glared at me, and started lunging repeatedly again. I kept dodging, but wound up tripping over a rock. Sora raised his keyblade over me, but then dropped it to the ground. "You aren't with him, are you?" he asked, leaning on his keyblade. Donald duck and Goofy walked up beside him. Perplexed looks on their faces.

"Uh, Sora," said goofy, staring at me, "I dunno who this guy is, but, we gotta take care of Ansem, remember?"

Sora nodded, and then he turned away from me. He seemed to fade out as he walked away. When he was completely faded out, a new figure appeared, wearing the cloak of Organization XIII.

"Riku?" I guessed, figuring he was back for another lecture. The figure pulled down its hood, and I saw the face Xion. She raised her keyblade at me and said, "Draw yours." I summoned my keyblade just in  time to block her downward strike. She kept slashing at me, in a wild freny. I grabbed my keyblade by the chain, and swung it around, deflecting her attacks, and knocking her off balance. As she fell, I struck her with a blow to the side, and then held the keyblade to her chest. She looked up at me, and a smile came to her face, and she started laughing.

"See Oniaku?" She said pushing my keyblade out of the wya and getting up off the ground. "You have the determination to get out. Just don't let these falsities fool you. These people aren't real." She then crystalized and shatterd into a powder, drifting up into the air. A card fell down from where she floated up, and I grabbed it. Ready to leave this floor of castle Oblivion.

Chapter XXIV: No Time Left

I exited the Destiny Islands, feeling a little wierded out. Riku was waiting for me.

"What now?" I asked, irritated.

"There's no more time. We have to get you out. We have to... Delete... Her." He said, confusing me even more.

"What are you talking about? Delete?! Delete Who?!" I yelled. Riku just stared at me, then placed his hand on my forehead.

"Kuxsara... Sakura... Your precious flower... She has to be erased from your memory." He said. Suddenly, I felt a searing pain in my forehead, and then, a flashback:

Nistaxu waved a keyblade at me.

"You should have fulfilled your purpose. I can't kill you though... We need you... So..." He stabbed my chest with the keyblade, and I felt an icy cold in my chest.

"Wha- What did you do?" I gasped out, as shadows enveloped me.

"Everything you love will be torn apart... By your very hands..." Nistaxu grinned, and dissappeared.

I gasped as the pain continued.

"We have to awaken your hidden memories to get rid of Kuxsara.."

It hit me then. I lashed out at Riku, but he blocked my blows with his forearm. "You can't get rid of her!" I screamed.

"I have to..." Riku said

Another flashback:

"This is your only chance, and their only chance as well, Oniaku..." Said the cloaked figure in front of me.

"I know... I know what has to be done, Xemnas. I know what you want. You want me to join the other six, and... Unlock it..." I stammered, shivering in cold.

"Yes... You shall be restored... And so shall they... If they can earn it..." He said, typing into the large computer he was sitting at.

"So, exactly what's going to happen to me?" I asked, wondering about what exactly his plan was.

"You and the other's shall be placed in a world made of data, so as to re-earn your existences. You... You are my back-up plan... If the X-Blade fails..."

"GAAAH!" The pain was searing. I had stopped struggling, and now just screamed.

"I'm so sorry..." He said, frowning.

I just screamed, until their was a white light...

Kuxsara... No... Her name was really Sakura... Stood on a hill overlooking a river. She looked at me as I approached her.

"This isn't a flash back." She said, before I could say anything. "This is goodbye. There are things you need to do... And the quickest way out of here is to forget me..."

I stood there stunned. "The quickest way out of Castle Oblivion is to--" But she cut me off.

"No, the quickest way out of the datascape."

"Oh" I said, finally understanding things. The comments, Xalex, Riku, everything else. I looked back at Sakura, who kept looking out over the river. I walked over to her, intending some sort of comfort.

"Do you love me?" She asked, startling me.

"Of course." I said, wondering what she was getting at.

"You'll forget all about me soon. Will you still love me?"

"Forever and always." I said, meaning it. Sakura smiled, and there was a shining white light.

Then, everything went black.

Well, I used Quotev back when I used that, but I decided I don't like it so from now on, all my KH fanfics will be on this site. Thus a sequel to this will be born.
