Okay, so don't leave a dirty comment saying something like "Your stupid you copied that right off of Kingdom Hearts!!", okay? Cause well, I just wanted to see how good I could do writing the story in my own words.

PROLOGUE

A boy with a black and white jacket, a red shirt, red shorts, brown spiky hair and a crown necklace stood on a stage. It was an unusual stage... it was a circle, and the bottom of it had a picture of a princess named Snow White. He then heard a voice.

"So much to do," The voice said, as the boy looked around to see if he could find who said it. "So little time..." The voice continued. "Take your time. Don't be afraid." The voice said. The boy looked down at the stage. "The door is still shut. Now, step forward. Can you do it?" The voice said. So the boy ran towards the only light shining on the stage.

Then three pedestals emerged from the stage. The middle had a sword floating above it, the right had a shield, and the left had a staff. Then, the boy heard the voice again. "Power sleeps within you. If you give it form... it will give you strength. Choose wisely." With that, the boy jumped up on the middle pedestal and grabbed the sword. "The power of the warrior. A sword of terrible destruction. Is this the form you choose?" The voice said, so the boy nodded. The sword then dissappeared from his hand with a flash of light. "Your path is set." The boy jumped down from the pedestal, which was sinking back into the ground, Then the glass stage broke, and he fell. The farther he fell, the more he slowed down.

He landed on another glass stage. It was just the same, except it had a picture of "Cinderella." The voice sounded again, as the sword returned to the boy in another flash of light. "You have gained the power to fight. Use this power to protect yourself and others." Then, three shadows appeared in the ground. They certainly weren't the boy's shadows. They looked more like three oversized bug's shadows. "There will be times you have to fight. Keep your light burning strong." Then, the shadows emerged from the ground and attacked the boy. So the boy jumped up and slashed at one of the strange creatures, defeating it. Frightened, the other creatures retreated back into the ground. The creatures put their whole being into making a puddle of darkness surrounding the boy. He fell into it.

He struggled to get out, then, suddenly, he found himself laying on ANOTHER glass stage. This one had a silhouette of a princess, that looked much like Aurora. The only difference about this stage from the others was, there was a door standing on it. The boy walked over to the door and tried to open it. The door shone a bright line on the boy. He walked into it. He found himself on an island, with a girl in a yellow sundress, a boy in a jacket and spiky hair, and another boy with a yellow tanktop tossing a ball. He heard the mysterious voice again. "Hold on. The door won't open just yet. First, tell me more about yourself." Then the girl spoke to him. "What's most important to you?" "Friendship." The boy answered. "Is friendship such a big deal?" The girl replied. Then the boy in the tanktop spoke to him. "What do you want outta life?" "To broaden my horizons." The boy answered. "To broaden your horizons, huh?" The other boy replied. Then the last boy asked him, "What are you so afraid of?" "Being different." The main boy replied. So the other boy said, "Being different? Is that really so scary?"

Then the boy in red looked at the light of day. The mystery voice spoke up again. "You'd like to broaden your horizons. You want friendship. You're afraid of being different. Your adventure begins at midday. Keep a steady pace and you'll come through just fine. The day you will open the door is both far off and very near."

The boy then found himself at one of the stages again. He didn't hear the voice to guide him, so he stepped towards the light. Then some more of the creatures made from shadows and darkness surrounded him. The sword appeared in his hand once again, and he was ready to fight. After eliminating them all, the light summoned a stair like surface that lead to another nearby stage. He ran up the surface to the stage.

He walked toward the light at that stage, then the mystery voice was there to guide him again. "The closer you get to light, the greater your shadow becomes." Then, behind the boy, there was a very big shadow shaped as him. It started to walk out of the ground as the creatures did. Though, now the shadow did not look like the boy anymore. It was much more frightening, and needless to say...creepy. It had a hole in it's chest, shaped like a valentine heart. The boy stepped back, great with fear, when the voice said to him: "But don't be afraid... and don't forget..." but the voice stopped talking, and he was left with no choice but to fight the humongous creature. He ran up to its hand and jumped up and started to slash at it. Angered, the creature then held its hand back, and slammed it into the ground, knocking the boy back. There was a pool of darkness around it's hand, bringing forth the small shadows. The boy ignored them, and took the chance to slash at the arm. When the huge shadow pulled its arm out of the stage, the boy disposed of the lesser shadows. The shadow got down its knees and started to shoot homing balls of energy at the boy. He was clever though... he ran up the creature's arm and up to the face, and waited for the energy balls to almost reach him... then jumped out of the way, hitting the creature's face. Then the creature started to fall down. The boy ran back, attempting to dodge this, but the shadow was too big. It fell on him, and he squirmed around in darkness once again. Then the voice was there to guide him one last time, until a long time later. "You hold the mightiest weapon of all... so don't forget: You are the one who will open the door.

Then it all stopped. He heard the distant sound of waves and seagulls. He was back on his island. He opened his eyes to see the big, blue sky. Then, a girl appeared right in front of him. Startled, he shoved himself back up and screamed, "Whoa!" The red headed girl giggled, as the boy in red said, "Gimme a break, Kairi." "Sora, you lazy bum. I knew I'd find you snoozing down here." The girl said. But Sora quickly told her, "No, this huge, black THING swallowed me up! I couldn't breathe I couldn't-" Then a coconut fell on his head. "Ow!" He yelled. "Are you still dreaming?" Kairi asked. "It wasn't a dream! Or was it- I don't know. What was that place? So bizarre..." Sora wondered. "Yeah, sure." Kairi said. Then Sora asked Kairi something. "Say, Kairi, what was your hometown like? You know, where you grew up." "I told you, I don't remember." She replied. "Nothing at all?" Sora asked, desperate to know. "Nothing." She replied. "You ever want to go back?" Sora asked. "Well, I'm happy here. But you know... I wouldn't mind going to see it." "I'd like to see it too... along with any other worlds out there! I wanna see em' all!" Sora replied. "So what are we waiting for?" She asked.

Then another boy with silver hair interrupted their conversation and said, "Hey, aren't you guys forgetting about me? So, I guess I'm the only one working on the raft." There was a moment of silence. Then the boy walked toward Kairi and tossed the log he was carrying to Sora. "And you're just as lazy as he is!" He said to Kairi. She giggled. "So you noticed. Okay, we'll finish it together! I'll race you!" Kairi said. "What? Are you kidding?" The boy with silver hair asked. Then he and Sora looked at eachother for a moment, and shoved theirselves up, and started to race.
