ABOUT 

When darkness
stretches to the far corners of the planet, who will be there to take

it out? When light is nearly impossible to find, who will look for it? On a

world where a legend comes real right before everyone’s eyes, will you save it?

 

LEGEND 

In this world there a
five light houses; light house of the North, the South, the East,

the West and the Core. These light houses fill our world with radiance and

fights away the darkness. But soon a dark cloud will rise and the light houses

will begin to shut off one by one. When this happens a key will be found; a key

to turn on the light houses.

 

SETTING 

Semi-Modern technology (guns, swords, gunblades, spears, arrows, knives, etc.), magic, no big cities,

 

OUTLINE 

You’ll start where
ever you wish but people must begin to group together at least by

page 3-5. No one may know where the key is or who will have it or even what it

may look like; just simply that it is. Once everyone is together and has formed

a party, we will head out in search of a way to turn the lighthouses back on

and the key of legend. At this time we will be confronted by the person who has

caused the light houses to turn off in the first place.

I will post characters throughout the RP but
they will all be dark as they will guide you to end of the story.

These characters will not be filled out by
character sheet but I will describe them well enough that it will give all the necessary
information needed

I actually want to make a sequel!!!

 

A dark cloud grew and grew of the western isles by the Terrea
Lighthouse; covering Esperanza Town, Rising Hills and Othello, anywhere nearby
was able to see the gigantic cloud in the sky. This cloud has been hovering for
a few days and then out of nowhere… the Lighthouse went out; creatures of pure
darkness began to rise and attack people for no reason as if they had no
control, just doing it for fun. They came in many different shapes and sizes
but none have been to big ……yet!

The cloud seems like its heading here” An old man in Rose Town began.

“I wonder what this means… you don’t think that-“Another man responded
but was cut off by an elderly woman.

“Shhhhh!!!! Don’t even think of that! If it went out we would be in
grave danger!” She forewarned. 

Felix looked at Dante and then Joshua. "Look! I just can't control myself and I just end up doing some weird stuff for her and then...BLARGH!" Melissa stretched her demonic arms closer to Felix and snapped him in the back like a whip. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"  he yelped. "You're getting off topic!" Melissa explained. "It's not my fault! I can do what I want to!No one is going to stop me!" Felix said. The demonic arms held Felix by his left foot, and dragged him closer to Melissa, gushing scalding water on his face and rubbing his face on the ground. "You have no idea how much that hurts!" "About what you just said...can you really do that? I've known you for years and you can never do what you want," Melissa responded. Jordan picked up his spear and held it firmly. "I'm not afraid to slay you, Melissa!" he shouted at the stop of his lungs. "Fine, fine. Do so." Jordan didn't expect for Melissa to say that. "I will!" Jordan walked closer to his sister. Melissa kicked Felix in the stomach to make him move out of the way. Jordan closed his eye, and scenes from the previous years rushed through his mind. He never would have suspected to murder his own sister willingly.He jabbed the spear towards Melissa's heart. She ducked and tripped Jordan on his face. "You were saying?" "I don't care! I will get you! I'll free you from the evil demon!" Jordan replied as he found his spear and retreated.

Halfway through the cave Kidare blasted his way out. He looked at the cyan-colored tower not too far away. "Sanctum, ey?" He turned to the dark cloud, it almost seemed to be struggling to spread further. "Let's see... Sanctum is the core..." He looked up at the light "If I can take that out, it'll be able to spread much further." He made his way toward the light house.

 

Sikota slowed to a stroll, he wouldn't be able to catch up with Kidare. He heard a growl behind him, then a crash. He turned and all he could see was a pair of giant red eyes chasing him down. He turned to make a full on sprint away. "I thought all the stories were just legends! Why do things like this always turn out to be true!?" He ran. He sensed a cave in. "Oh gosh, dangit" He launched the cords and pulled himself forward, narrowly avoiding the crashing rocks from Kidare's blast. He heard the monster roar in anguish. "I should probably hurry." He launched the cords and pulled himself ever forward.

(cdgerrity, the lighthouse is unreachable at the moment but you can say you went through the Illusion Forest and i like spit you out somewhere else instead of it going straight through it just changed.)

(I think I have an idea)

 

There was a bright flash. When it receded, Kidare was lying in the desert. He sighed and sat up, those lighthouses are weird things. "So this must be Daius. so if the sun is there, going this way will take me to either Echo or Mirage Town... Better find out; and while I'm here..." He fired a sonic blast towards nothing leaving an entertaining riverbed of sorts cutting through the desert. "I wonder what would happen if it started raining." With that he left.

(Okay.)

 

The creatures threw Yukari off her horse and on the ground. Immediately, the horse was killed by the creatures. One of the three that attacked her ran off into the herd. One quickly took its place. Yukari was doomed. Nobody would find her if she was majorly injured, this was a death trap!

"Why...does bad stuff always happen to me!?" she yelled, then killing one of the creatures with her knives.

She was wounded by the godamn things, but she would be okay for the moment. She stood up after the last one ran off, and as expected, she began to run.

"He's weird." Melissa made a crater with her blade around all the houses. "But if I'm going to make this place mine, then I'll have to give everyone a warning." "A warning for what?" Felix moaned. "Stop randomly saying things!" "Sorry, but what kind of warning?" "The kind that tells people to do as I say, or they suffer..." Melissa explained. "Ooooh..." Felix didn't say anymore. "Are you going to help me?" "Yeah!" Felix jumped up. "You can start by getting the people out of their houses. I have a plan."Jordan curled up as much as he could. "Melissa...Why?" he mumbled. He turned and saw Felix rush around, getting people out of their houses. "Huh?" Jordan found his spear again and decided to investigate.

The Cloud:

Is still over Terrea Lighthouse, Esperanza Town, Raising Hills, Othello, the whole western half of the Valley of Echos and the Desert of Daius and it was over the Mirage Town. But no longer growing.

 

Raising Hills:

The man with white hair and red eyes appeared here next to a few other shadowy figures. 

"So...did you have any trouble?" A woman's voice asked the man.

"Of course not.....easy as pie, the other will be our's for the taking."

"It'll be light's out for them! Hahahahahaha!" Another man began to start laughing hysterically and the others joined in.

 

Filthel Harbor:

???- the unknown man wearing all black and hood up; hiding his own existence, walked north ward out f town and towards the Genaro Cave. "I must see someone before taking action. "

Umtex had seen the cloud as a divine sign to act. His overseers were working him to the bone sawing wood in Mirage Town ever since his wealthy family and his instructors exiled him to that accursed barn of labor. As he was studying the ominous nebula his overseer called for him. "Oi! Back to work, boy!" The man made his last mistake of lobbing a brick at Umtex's green-haired head, which was effortlessly deflected by a flay of the boy's work saw.

Now decided on his destiny, the silenced Umtex drew his katana and promptly sliced the oveerseer's head perfectly in half horizontally. The swing had caused a load of sand to spray onto the floor out of the sword's hilt. The barn's slave-master walked out to see what the fuss was about while the young boy sheathed his katana and put on a large white cape, a huge backpack, and round-sunglasses. The mute boy walked away calmly from the barn as the master stared at the bloody scene in shock. The spilt sand on the floor savagely surged up to the frightened master's face, forcing itself into his mouth, nostrils, ears, and eyes, gagging the man's life.

As his old master suffocated from the sand, Umtex prepared to slaughter Mirage Town and take revenge.

Sikota finally made it out of the cave, all tired out. "ha... ha... That must be Filthel Harbor down there. He looked over at the menacing evil cloud in the west. "Maybe I should catch a boat to Esperanza Town or something..."

 

Kidare arrived in Mirage Town. People seemed to be in a panic. He grabbed one of the villagers. "Oy, what's going on?" He was too panicked to respond, He let him go and sighed "I guess I oughta' investigate."

Raising Hills:

The three shadowy figures all vanished in a split second, all to a different location.

 

Between Filthel Harbor and Genaro Cave:

???- The man hiding his identity saw a young man escape from the cave and heading toward the harbor. "Sir..."He approached Sikota. "Here i am far to old for me to do anything, please take this and head towards the harbor..there will be a young lady dressed in green. Find her and tell her that you seek the lighthouse for safety....there you will use this item inside this box, don't open it till you arrive at the lowest level of the lighthouse and when you do you'll know what to do with it. I can tell by the look in your eyes i can trust you..." The man said as he handed him the small box. The man then continued towards the cave.

Sikota was confused "Err... uh... Will do old man! You can trust me." He ran toward the harbor. "Lady in green, lady in green, lady without a spleen, no, lady in green. I seek refuge in the lighthouse says me to a lady in green..."

Al was crossing the cave, the dark inside it was too big enough to make someone lost his path...

- Well... looks like I will be sooner or later out of this cave... Damn.... why this way needs to be so... huh?

Then Al heared two voices... one of them a young one ...the another one, an old man....

-What are they saying? .... the lighthouse? Now I think of it, Filthel is house of Aerum Lighthouse. Maybe... this has to be with the lost of the light in the Terrea´s Lighthouse...Mmmm.... I should avoid the old man....No... maybe he knows something.... mmm what to do? 

then he pulled out his spear... ready for anything....

-- Alright let´s go... he said as he walked near the two guys.. but then, the young one ran away in the path to Filthel... leaving the old man behind. Then, he got close to the old man.... 

- This path is dangerous for and old one, more in the dark. Who are you?

 

The clouds covered the sun of the morning... the skyes over Filthel were gray on that day... as signal of a storm coming... Ciel walked back to the harbor, hoping to get a ship to the lighthouse. 

- This feeling... something is gonna happen....

Then she boarded the boat there were another priest and priestess, usually going to the morning prayers on the lighthouse´s sanctuary. Departing!! a voice claimed, as the boat begans to move... the waves were soft.... almost peaceful... the breeze was moved by the wind on Ciel´s face. As the boat got closer to the lighthouse, the feeling of premonition was becoming stronger inside Ciel. Are you alright? One of the priestess asked to her.

- Yes.... I´m fine.

Genaro Cave:

???- The man continued to hide his face. "Me? I'm nobody...." He said and heading north through the cave.

 

Rose Town:

The shadowy figure of a woman appeared on a semi-tall building in Rose Town, the other two did not follow. "Heheheheh....... Aerum....."

After reaching the harbor, Sikota found the girl in green along with some others... on a boat... going elsewhere... or otherwise... away from the harbor. He launched the cords and pulled himself onto the boat. "Woah, WOOOOOAAAAAH!!!" He splashed behind it, and pulled himself on board. "Hey... this thing going to the lighthouse? An old guy in black told me to bring this here." He held out the box. "Name's Sikota by the way." Directing my gaze to the girl in  green.

Dante and Joshua both looked around, clueless of the others' actions and intentions. With a burst of wind, Dante flew off back to Rose Town's garden, without the usage of his wings. His voice echoed deep in Joshua's mind. 'Fear not, my dear child. No harm shall come to you...for I am watching over you.' Dante stood at the center of the garden and glared southward. "So it appears...there are more than one whom are willing to disrupt the light. It could be troublesome." Dante mumbled as he walked towards the Aerum Lighthouse. (If I am to pose as one of the light and only the light, I suppose I must play the part of 'trying to protect' the light.) Dante thought to himself as he calmly and nonchalantly walked ahead, moving the water and dirt as he walked so his golden, white, and black silk robe would not get wet or filthed. 

Finally after throwing Yukari around way too much, the creatures bugged off of her finally.

"Uggg...I hate my life..." she complained, holding the few wounds she received.

Yukari was shocked they didn't kill her. Well, in the long run, Yukari continued travelling. By the time she actually reached Rose Town, her wounds were wrapped up, no problem.

Yukari looked around and gave a frustrated sigh. It was a wreck with darkness here too.

"Why can't I find somewhere peaceful to stay for God sake..." she complained.

(I really do't like it when people don't post....Also i want people to start grouping up into 'parties')

Aerum Lighthouse:

The boat with 'the woman in green' and the boy with 'the box' arrived at the lighthouse. The shadowy figure of a woman stood at the top but remained unnoticed. "It's here." She smirked.

Posting later at dinner time. I promise!

Ciel looked at the one who launched himself to the boat. 

"What´s the hurry? ..He could have waited for the next boat" She thought for a moment.. then the boy gave her a box, his name was Sikota. 

Sikota? Mmm my name is Ciel..."Mmm a box? Well maybe this was sended by the Priest...after all he said he was to see the highcourt on Genaro." So what is this box for? She asked to Sikota. But on that moment the captain announced: Next stop! Aerum!!

Mmmm ok, come with me, I suposse you haven´t come here before, so what about to see the Lighthouse Sanctuary? she said to him.

 

When they arrived at the place, Ciel moved faster to the Lighthouse base... then... water began to fall from the sky... 

- It´s raining.... mmmm maybe this are just ideas on my head...

then she moved along the others to the sanctuary.

Mmm what an old wierd was him... Al said as he made it out of Genaro Cave. on front, the city of Filthel, and the lighthouse. The morning was cloudy as if a storm was coming. Looks like it´s dawn already... yawnnnn.... Well looks like i´m gonna keep up for a while... as long as it´s not raining already... he said walking down the stairs and follow the path to the city. 

"Whoa, slow down!" Sikota called to the advancing group. "Anyway, an old man told me to take this box down to the bottom level of the lighthouse, and to keep it closed until then. I am allowed access down there... right?"

Sikota started to worry, if he were denied access he'd be caught in a dilemma. Fulfill the man's seemingly desperate plea and totally ruin any possible bonds with this Ciel... she's so serene and peaceful. Like a gentle spring breeze. He wouldn't want her to hate him for helping out the old man...

Felix coaxed kids and adults alike out of their houses. "Here me now! The town is going to undergo a serious rule!" Melissa pushed him aside. "Thank you Felix. So I just wanted to say that you would have to obey me at all cost, or you pretty much meet your demise. Sound good?" Melissa asked the crowd. She heard agreements at first, but then thoughts of fear and disagreement soon flooded through."Listen HERE!" Melissa exclaimed as she shot random bullets with her gun-blade. The crowd quickly nodded. "That's better." Melissa smiled.

(NO! I wont let this die!!!!)

Dante stood behind the shadow feminine figure. He had no intentions of stopping her from relasing darkness onto the lighthouse, however, it was of extra purpose to...'act' the role of being one of the light. "And what exactly, is here?" Dante asked the woman as they stood atop the Aerum Lighthouse. "I must admit, I expected the man from earlier to be behind the dark clouds of this world. I wasn't certain of there being multiple. Some organization who's purpose is to fill everything into a dark abyss I suppose. How foolish. To truly see all, your body, mind, and soul must be open to both light and dark. Too much of one or the other will lead to armageddon, and that inclused an overabundance of light as well." Dante spoke proudly and elegantly. His black and white wings were both folded and tucked under his silk robe, while his single red eye was covered by a golden half-mask and a monocle. "What is the purpose? Shall we discuss this over tea-time?" Dante said both sarcastically and literally. He currently held a small cup of warm tea in his hands, soon drinking it casually and nonchalantly.
