Oh, I'll probably get one someday, though chances are not for a while.  (Not until a PS5's in the making, no doubt. )

  • Only if a game I want comes out on that system.   That's basically how I got most of the game systems I have now.

perhaps

I'll get one when I have the money. I'll get a Wii U first though because there are few titles that I am excited for.

I'm a Sony gamer for homeconsoles though so I will eventually get the PS4 but I won't buy it at launch.

the PS4 isnt backwards compatible.i was planning to get the PS4 if it was backwards compatible but it's not.Sony would make more money if the PS4 is backwards compatible bcuz if somebody who doesnt hav a PS3, like myself, gets a PS4 that is backwards compatible, you can play both PS3 & PS4 games with no problem.

It isn't backwards compatible because the two machines use completely different structures of hardware and it would be difficult. PS3s will be cheaper when the PS4 comes out so it might be easier to jump into getting one then. Still I understand peoples frustration but backwards compatibility isn't necessary in most cases, especially to those who already have the PS3 to begin with and I personally never get rid of my consoles.
