Errm.. Does anyone else happen to have a problem where their 3DS keeps resetting its time to 01/01/2011 00:00 every time it is turned on? Mine does, and i have no idea why :I

I googled around on it, but i found some very vague answers like it being due to the 3DS time being decided by the time of the internet router it is connected to, and that if it ain't on the internet for a prolonged time, it will start resetting itself due to it searching for a correct time to adjust itself to. At first i believed this due to me having been out at a cottage near the water, but it keeps doing it even now lol...

SO i was wondering if anyone else have or have had the same issue with their 3DS?

Never had that issue.

Mine seems fine.

never happened to me. only to my DSi though.

Never happened to me... But try to remove the batteries and put them back, I think that might help.

Batteries are sometimes the cause of this... Heck, my DS Lite reset time and date when I pulled the battery out. Tell me what happens!

I will, once i find the smallest screwdriver i have ever seen in my life o.o

Nope. Call Nintendo.

The only thing I can think of that might cause it is by draining your battery to absolute zero. I've heard of people loosing StreetPass data, step counts, and Play Coins, so maybe it could reset your clock too. However, that doesn't sound like whats happening in your case. You'll probably have to call or send an email to Nintendo support.
