That's what the some of the more recent Sonic games have done with. Although those ones are even better because each one is an orchestral remix of the main theme of the game it's in. Sonic '06(only good thing about this game) Sonic Unleashed Sonic Colors And yeah, I've heard Requiem for a Dream a lot, too.
