In this last month, I've been busy playing Persona 3 portable(played it with both the female and male character). I really enjoyed it so I decided to play Persona 1 and 2:IS

I ended Persona 1 today and I have a couple of questions:

Let's start by the final boss: Pandora is probably the most disturbing enemy in Non Horror Gaming History, however the original release of persona 1 on the Ps1 had the "Kids to Adult" Rating. Not to mention its a pretty hard battle so you'll see that encounter cutscene lots and lots of time.

Another thing is did any of you enjoy the story of this game. Most websites says its unintresting, but I liked it better then the story from P3P. It seemed more inovative then most Rpg, and it totally broke new ground at the time it came out.

ive really only just started playing persona p3p to be exact i think its a great game. though are the  others different like what i mean is do they all have to with shadows and such and are the games connected?

I only played Persona 1 and 2 after playing 3/FES/Portable ( Thanks to my Android :D ) and 4 ( I want to play The Golden ).

The dungeon crawling was a little uncomfortable at first but i think Persona 1, 2 and 2.2 are good games.

I can't wait for the announcement of Persona 5.

from what I've seen p1 has a good story. It also has quite fun gameplay. I do like p3 and 4 more but that's just preference.

I think the only reason people don't like P1 is because of how different it is compared to P3 and 4, with how it's built to be much more similar to a normal Megami Tensei game with the 1st person dungeons and dark storyline and stuff.

The only thing that personally annoys me is how they felt the need to almost completely change the soundtrack from how gritty the PS1 version was, to the more J-pop soundtrack of the remake. They're not bad songs on their own, but they really clash with the tone P1 tries to set.

But yeah, overall I think some things are a mess like the soundtrack replacement, but I have to admit that the re-localization is so much better than the original one. >>

From what I can tell, sorta.  Persona 1 and 2 don't have the social links and stuff.  and each character is a wildcard persona user, essentially.

Persona 1 and 2 has no social links, no school life, its mainly story.

Also no comments about pandora, the inverse vagina abomination.

Off Topic: Does Tohru Adachi have an back story.
