 Once long ago, a plague wiped out most of the Earth's population, and out of the ashes, the remaining members of society created the world we live in. The Virus that nearly wiped us out long ago allowed no record of its devastation, nor samples of it in order to try to make sure something of this magnitude never started again. Three-hundred years after the Reconstruction, a school for people to learn the skills the most handy on the Earth as it is now formed, only taking one class per year. In this school, Dancing and Fighting are the focus, Dancing because it was a highly loved form of entertainment, and Fingthing because even with the reconstruction, many people were still feral, still willing to fight over the smallest things because the world lacked having these things. So they fight. So they Kill. So this school exist. It has been approximately fifty-five years since the ned or the Reconstruction. the year is 3825 AR. The world is a drastically different place from what we know, so, let us delve into its mystics and become the people this world would have had us become had we been born in this universe.

Day One: The DNA of a Heart

"And so class, that is the end of today's lecture on your fighting form. Thank you, Mr. Absolon for your demonstration of your highly advanced skills. As for you, class, take note of this presentation of skill. We all saw how much an inch of ground can affect your power and strength in blows." Derik sighed as he placed the practice wooden sword into its holster and into Mrs. Casada's outstretched hand and sat back down. Mrs. Casada's snow-white neck skin began to bounce around with vigor with each incoming word. Every syllable uttered from her mouth (Which looked like someone had smacked a ancient lady with a frying pan) had her wrinkled, deformed, spotted skin jumping like a kid on a sugar high. Her meager dark blue curved neckline dress that cascaded onto the floor ill-suited her, as she had a wider figure and she was short. Her high, very girly voice suited her the same as her dress. "Now onto tonight's training assignment! Every one of you at mid-night exactly will file down to the gymnasium with your weapon, there you will each place your ID card into the machine in the center of the floor and stand back after each student has done so. Weather you use this time in-between to get practice, talk, rest, or goof off will be your choice, but if you do not attend, you will be kicked out of the AADBT immediately, and all of the skills you gained here will be drained from your memory. This harsh treatment is because you are all to pass on soon, and you need to show us your DEDICATION!" She had screamed at the corner full of sleeping students, which aroused them all quickly. "But until the next time I see you, please, stay safe. And do not fight! Remember, only form of physical contact that is dealt to someone can only be in a supervised sparring match, any fighting outside of this will result in the same previously mentioned punishment. Dismissed!"

All Fighter-Classes are now free to move about the School. The school is larger than half the now abandoned city of Las Vegas' size, Sitting atop a cliff top, the school is surrounded by an Ocean and on the other side is a thick wooded area. The Mess Hall is where you can eat and obtain food, but you are not restricted to this area. Evey person has their own room, so do not worry about that.

 

Arissia was hardly breaking a sweat with her gymnastics dance routine, as she fluttered through the air. Often people would call her the Humming Bird, as she floated through the air with grace and speed. She double-back-flipped into a one fingered hand-stand, then falling into a half fished cart wheel and she bowed, then her music stopped. The class applauded at the routine, praising it and giving cheer. The red-haired teacher, whom they called Mr. Reaper, clapped loudly, his face drenched in sweat with an extreme level of content on his face. Arissia though "Perv. I can tell you were looking up my dress. I've never liked having a male teacher for a dance instructor."  She scoffed at him and gave him a glare of discontent and annoyance. Mr Reaper didn't see this though, and he walked over to the front of the room, cleared his throat, and spoke into the microphone "Wonderful! Wonderful! I knew the best routine would be last. Your lucky Arissia pulled your sorry toes out of the fire this week, your routines were mostly bad, and if Arissia wasn't among you, a good chunk of you would be running drills right now. Our only other real dancer in here right now is Ms.Sakurako. Which by the way, Ren, great job! You competed close to Arissia's level of skill. Keep it up. Now, for your nightly drill... Tonight, in the main gym, you will go and place your ID card into the machine in the center of the room. Failure to do this or any fighting results in expulsion and skill removal. I hope to see you all come back tomorrow well. Dismissed."

Decide what you will do until its time to go to the Gym.

"There just has to be so many." Akito complained. He gripped the covered blade if his katana. With a swing of his arm the sickle launched out of the handle of his sword. It latched onto the shoulder of one of the robots. Pulling back, he ripped out what seemed to be an important piece, with a flick of his wrist and another swing, the chain wrapped itself around another robot, with a mighty swoop, he sent it flying into at least two other enemies. He glanced back "Ren! Look out!" He dropped his sword and grabbed part of the chain in each hand, using it to block the robots downward strike on his partner, he then wrapped the chain around its arm, and pulled his sword back using the other end of the chain. Once he caught it, it was quickly unsheathed into a spinning attack that first dismembered the robots arm, and then cut the rest of it in half. He looked down at the robots arm and picked it up. "Maybe this could be useful" (passive aggressively speculating about enemy drops) Akito turned toward his partner. "You okay?"

The automatons were continually closing in, leaving Luke no choice but to unsheathe his blade.

"You all are unlucky. Only those few fools who get to see my blade die shortly." Luke murmured, fully bringing out his sword: A glimmering, steel blade. "Now, die the lot of you." He smirked, slashing the area around him with concise attacks. Even though he didn't doubt his fighting skill, a speck of doubt flickered in the back of his mind. But he quickly shook it off.[Action End]

The robot was knocked back slightly, but seemed otherwise unharmed. Growling slightly, Zach threw away his sword. Why did i ever try to learn how to use this stupid thing anyway? he wondered to himself. He leapt at the robot and slammed his fist into the side of the robot, making a small dent. He then dug his nails into the dent and pulled with a humungous effort, peeling away some of it and then ripping out some of the circuitry. The robot fell to the ground; he must've pulled out something important.

 

He then turned to look at the next robot, and despite the robot being very unlikely to actually recognise speech, he pointed at it and said "alright, you're next".

Ri-an focused on all of the robotic enemies. They appeared to be endless. "So much for an easy training exercise." she muttered, and took a ready position. Neither of her learned dances, Charm and Water shield, would be very helpful at this point in time. What she needed, was a weapon. Ri-an looked at all of the weapons around her, from fallen fighters, and defeated enemies. She spotted a beautiful sword, on the ground from a fallen warrior. It was a long thin blade, almost Chinese in nature. It had a carved square guard, separating the  bound hilt from the expertly crafted blade. She picked it up, hoping that she could use. The feel of the sword came naturally to her, almost like it was meant for her rather than the defeated warrior. "I do hope you don't mind," Ri-an said to the unconscious, maybe dead girl. "But it is survival of the fittest." she finished as the robots surrounded her. She lashed out with the blade, using her natural dancing skill to gracefully sever the limbs of the closest bots.

I stood up, dusted off my armor, and readied my sword. "I don't think we've ever really met. I'm Shaun," I said, as I jumped over an oncoming robot, and brought my blade down and split it in half.

"Name's Derik, As of right now number 1 of the Fighters class,Dual Wielder, and look out, you got an enemy on your back!" Derik went to get rid of it, but a robot armed with a wall-shield blocked  the incoming strike and rushed him with a blow from the shield as it ran. "Gah! Not gonna let it end here!" He then chopped up the shield, shredding it into chunks along with the robot's arm."Be careful, they seem to be getting stronger!"

Zach leapt at the robot he had targeted, snarling as he did so like the wolf he shared similarities with. He shifted in mid-air and came crashing down upon the robot as a ferocious brown wolf, slamming it to the ground and savagely attacking its head. The robot didn't have enough time to react, and much of its circuitry layed on the ground as Zach shifted back into a human and admired his handiwork. He didn't stay still for long though, as his eyes began scanning the background for his next target.

"Yes, I am okay. Are you?" Ren asked, a little nervous.

"Hey...um...do you happen to have something I can fight with other then a robot's arm...more like a weapon...something small...like daggers maybe....?" Ren asked, kicking another robot but this one didn't die imminently and headed strait for her.

"Die you damned thing!" she snapped, forcefully ripping the robot's arm off and tossing it at the defeated robot.

Ryu saw another robot coming at her and she swinged her new scythe downward toward its shoulder. Even with this weapon I'm still light on my feet, she thought and watched as its arm fell to the ground with a thud but the robot was still moving and ready to attack. She rushed at it again and twirled the scythe into its back, cleanly slicing the robot in half. Ryu moved out of the way to avoid getting hit with the metal parts falling to the ground since the robot was twice her size ~Action Ended~

Enemy Turn!

The enemy continues to attack relentlessly, but with no order or sense. One enemy is armed with Mana Claws, and as such increase ones skills that use them.

 

Some times, bosses will drop unique or powerful weapons, but only when defeated. These weapons have unique ability's and skills that most weapons don't offer and can only be obtained from the shop (To be seen later) when you find them in the wild. I will control Unique Weapon Drops, but average weapons like swords with no boosted affects can be taken and used still

HP: All at 25/25, except Shaun, who is at 18/25

Luke:83/200 (I counted the number of enemy's you took out as 5, since you were not exact in the number)

Enemy count: Infinit-respawn until 4 more turns are up, or someone is able to stop the flow of them and the remaining are destroyed.

Derik was beginning to get frustrated. The endless enemy's were just becoming a nuance, rather than a problem. Derik then noticed the holes in the walls were occasionally closing and opening when releasing enemy's. "Everyone who can hear me: The doors are shutting and opening in some pattern. Maybe we can stop their flow is we find a way to lock the doors permanently! Focus on finding things that can block the doors rather than trashing enemy's for right now.

 

Goal Area's are places that, with a little thinking, can help you in a large number battle to achieve your goal. These objects can vary to anything you would see in the area you are in right now. This will help you in many ways, from slowing or stopping enemy flow, to defeating enemy's all together Look for the opportunity when you can and use it to your advantage.

He chained one of the robots and threw it into a closing door, he didn't have time to notice it though because his attention was drawn to another robot that seemed to have the perfect weapon. He chained it, pulled it towards him and moved into an upward strike.

(I'm taking the initiative and getting these for Ren, I'm leaving room for retaliation since this guy seems tough)

 

If there is no retaliation however:

 

Akito's blade cut through. He let his blade fly higher into the sky as he pulled the two claws off and tossed them to Ren. "Ren, try these!" He caught his blade and blocked one of the robots strikes, he pulled back on his chain and it the blade flipped over his opponent and into it's face. He then pushed it down to the ground.

 

Akito barely heard Derik's cry. "Too much thinking. Lets just take out as many as we can for now. Maybe I could just keep people from getting hurt then... Actually..." He chained one of the robots and threw it into a closing door, he didn't have time to notice it though because his attention was drawn to another robot that seemed to have the perfect weapon. He chained it, pulled it towards him and moved into an upward strike.(I'm taking the initiative and getting these for Ren, I'm leaving room for retaliation since this guy seems tough)If there is no retaliation however:

This enemy has self control and skill! It grabs onto the chain and the machine in the center of the room, then pulls Akito in, preparing claws for a strike, stabbing Akito, then throwing him off.

Akito's HP: 15/25

"Ah-! Akito! Are you okay!?!" Ren asked urgently, running to his side and helping him up.

"I will be right back. Kill the robot." she said with a really tiny smile, running into the commotion.

A fallen student lay dead, just a random student appearing to be killed by a robot with a weapon in his hand. Daggers! Yay! Five of them!

Ren grabbed them, to be stopped by another robot. She jumped back and it slashed the robot in half with one of the daggers.

"I hope I won't get in trouble for having these..." she said once arriving at Akito's side.

Luke craned his head over the near never-ending horde of enemies, trying to spot a control switch-- or at least some other form of level that could halt the horde's onslaught, and therefore make it easier to repel them all.

In his search, Luke was nearly caught off-guard by four more bots who dared get near, and he slashed at them all, trying to make as many clean shots as possible.

Akito struggled to get up. He couldn't let his partner fight alone. He saw the clawed robot charging towards her from the side, she hadn't noticed! Akito quickly retracted the chain, sheathed his sword and dashed toward his partner's side as an iron shield folded out from his sleeve. He blocked the blow and redirected the bot's momentum to spin around, exposing its back. "Ren now!"

Ri-an heard Derik's call. "I'll do my best!" she called back, thrusting through another machine, then spinning and throwing it off her blade.She flipped up onto another bot, standing upon it. She started leaping from automaton to automaton. Ri-an finally made it to the doors, where she rolled onto the ground and sliced another robot's head off. She stood and looked around for a switch of some sort. Biting her lip, Ri-an began to worry. She couldn't find the switch, and more people were getting killed by the infinite waves every second. As a few more bots surrounded her, Ri-an sliced through another two, and stood wary.

Ren attacked on command, slicing the robot actually in half, not really meaning to.

"Oops....um...okay..." Ren sighed, regretting that a bit.

"Thanks Akito." she smiled.

Zach saw the claws on the robot, and instantly wanted them. His mouth formed a savage grin, something that isn't usually seen on Zach. He turned into his wolf form, and tried a similar technique to before. He ran over to it and ducked when it swung at him, he then used all the strength in his hind legs to launch himself at the robot and push it to the ground. He then attempted to swipe at the robot with his claws, throwing in the occasional bite.

In unlimited number and large number battles, you can continue, so long as you remember that once all other members have posted the turn will end.

The robot contented to fight back, but once it was on the floor, it could hardly move, making one final attack effort at the savage thing by stabbing it in the side, before it stopped functioning.

Zach's HP: 14/25

Zach cringed as he was hit, but picked up the mana claws. These could come in handy he thought to himself. He then focused his attention on the holes in the walls and stood there for a moment, trying to figure out how to block them up. He began running towards the wall that the robots were coming from, hoping some idea appeared in his mind before he got there.

Ryu looked around frantically for something to lock the doors with. uhh, she thought and ducked from another robot that came at her and she slashed it clean through. She went towards one of the doors the robots were coming out of, destroying three more robots as she went. Now if i could just get the door jammed for it to stop opening... Ryu stepped back a little to avoid getting hit by more robots that were coming out and tried looking for handles on the doors that could be used to keep the doors shut with some object holding them together. Ryu jumped back from getting hit by a robot with a sword. That could probably work, she thought and rushed at the robot
