 Once long ago, a plague wiped out most of the Earth's population, and out of the ashes, the remaining members of society created the world we live in. The Virus that nearly wiped us out long ago allowed no record of its devastation, nor samples of it in order to try to make sure something of this magnitude never started again. Three-hundred years after the Reconstruction, a school for people to learn the skills the most handy on the Earth as it is now formed, only taking one class per year. In this school, Dancing and Fighting are the focus, Dancing because it was a highly loved form of entertainment, and Fingthing because even with the reconstruction, many people were still feral, still willing to fight over the smallest things because the world lacked having these things. So they fight. So they Kill. So this school exist. It has been approximately fifty-five years since the ned or the Reconstruction. the year is 3825 AR. The world is a drastically different place from what we know, so, let us delve into its mystics and become the people this world would have had us become had we been born in this universe.

Day One: The DNA of a Heart

"And so class, that is the end of today's lecture on your fighting form. Thank you, Mr. Absolon for your demonstration of your highly advanced skills. As for you, class, take note of this presentation of skill. We all saw how much an inch of ground can affect your power and strength in blows." Derik sighed as he placed the practice wooden sword into its holster and into Mrs. Casada's outstretched hand and sat back down. Mrs. Casada's snow-white neck skin began to bounce around with vigor with each incoming word. Every syllable uttered from her mouth (Which looked like someone had smacked a ancient lady with a frying pan) had her wrinkled, deformed, spotted skin jumping like a kid on a sugar high. Her meager dark blue curved neckline dress that cascaded onto the floor ill-suited her, as she had a wider figure and she was short. Her high, very girly voice suited her the same as her dress. "Now onto tonight's training assignment! Every one of you at mid-night exactly will file down to the gymnasium with your weapon, there you will each place your ID card into the machine in the center of the floor and stand back after each student has done so. Weather you use this time in-between to get practice, talk, rest, or goof off will be your choice, but if you do not attend, you will be kicked out of the AADBT immediately, and all of the skills you gained here will be drained from your memory. This harsh treatment is because you are all to pass on soon, and you need to show us your DEDICATION!" She had screamed at the corner full of sleeping students, which aroused them all quickly. "But until the next time I see you, please, stay safe. And do not fight! Remember, only form of physical contact that is dealt to someone can only be in a supervised sparring match, any fighting outside of this will result in the same previously mentioned punishment. Dismissed!"

All Fighter-Classes are now free to move about the School. The school is larger than half the now abandoned city of Las Vegas' size, Sitting atop a cliff top, the school is surrounded by an Ocean and on the other side is a thick wooded area. The Mess Hall is where you can eat and obtain food, but you are not restricted to this area. Evey person has their own room, so do not worry about that.

 

Arissia was hardly breaking a sweat with her gymnastics dance routine, as she fluttered through the air. Often people would call her the Humming Bird, as she floated through the air with grace and speed. She double-back-flipped into a one fingered hand-stand, then falling into a half fished cart wheel and she bowed, then her music stopped. The class applauded at the routine, praising it and giving cheer. The red-haired teacher, whom they called Mr. Reaper, clapped loudly, his face drenched in sweat with an extreme level of content on his face. Arissia though "Perv. I can tell you were looking up my dress. I've never liked having a male teacher for a dance instructor."  She scoffed at him and gave him a glare of discontent and annoyance. Mr Reaper didn't see this though, and he walked over to the front of the room, cleared his throat, and spoke into the microphone "Wonderful! Wonderful! I knew the best routine would be last. Your lucky Arissia pulled your sorry toes out of the fire this week, your routines were mostly bad, and if Arissia wasn't among you, a good chunk of you would be running drills right now. Our only other real dancer in here right now is Ms.Sakurako. Which by the way, Ren, great job! You competed close to Arissia's level of skill. Keep it up. Now, for your nightly drill... Tonight, in the main gym, you will go and place your ID card into the machine in the center of the room. Failure to do this or any fighting results in expulsion and skill removal. I hope to see you all come back tomorrow well. Dismissed."

The robot Akito threw into the chamber managed to trip up the next waves of incoming Robots from that chamber, chamber destroyed! Akito will now gain 2 EXP at the end of each enemy phase

 

Derik saw the robots piling up in the chamber Akito threw a bot in. "Guys, apparently these robots are old, because when they fall they can't get up!" The bat pun caused three of the robots to face palm, sadly for them they had bombs and button detonators as their weapons, so they blew up. "But in all seriousness, do what he just did! Throw em in!"

There are 11 chambers, not including the one Akito took out. When all are gone, the robots will stop multiplying.

Ryu's scythe was jammed in at the base of the robot that tried to attack her with a sword. Throw them in, she thought, i'll give it a shot. Before the robot could stab at her with its sword, Ryu swung her scythe hard towards the nearest door where the robots were coming out and the robot staggered backwards into the upcoming robots. Two of them however managed not to get hit and kept coming forwards. "You two are not going anywhere." she said and jabbed her scythe hard into their chests. Both robots fell backwards, backing up the entrance even more ~Action Ended~

"Ren, get down, and see if you can't pick up those claws." Akito extended his chain and spun it around him taking down 4 robots, he ducked to avoid the swing of another one and he retracted his chain and held the end of the blade at it's center, he released it again and sent he blot flying through others and into one of the doors. He pulled his chain back along the ground, tripping one more robot and when the chain was back in his sword, he quickly unsheathed it to cut another robot before it could strike at him.

"Those chambers, eh?" Luke muttered, plunging through the opening he had created; stepping over the now ruined robotic corpses of the fallen automatons, Luke approached the closest chamber.

"In you go!" Luke said, smiling as he sent his blade plunging into the robot before him, attempting to reel the bot around and send it careening into the open chamber-- right smack dab into the center of that section's horde.

(Not that I care, but I read my post, and I'm pretty sure I put down that four were killed. One in the beginning, one when she landed, and two at the end.)

I shook my head and got out of this random day-dreaming phase that had been happening a lot lately. I was gonna get myself killed if I kept doing that! Just as I refocused again, two robots lunged at me from both sides. I ducked and each of their blades pierced each other. I quickly rolled behind one and kicked it closer to the other robot, causing the blade to pierce even further into both robots. To finish it off, I brought up my blade and sliced both the automatons' heads off, and their bodies fell to the ground in a clank. I turned and saw a chamber, where the robots were pouring out of. I heaved a sigh and started running towards it, encountering a robot along the way. I crouched and swung my sword with a spin, knocking out the robots legs and causing it to fall to the ground. It was still activated though. Once again, the young man's eyes flashed in my head, then I looked at the automaton and for some reason it had the same, evil smirk that the face in my head had. I brought down my foot and crushed its head into pieces. It felt... delightful.

"What! No...I am helping you!" Ren said seriously. She looked around, finding some small thing that was letting out Robots non-stop. A chamber.

"Akito! We need to destroy those!" she pointed out.

Since Gexln is offline both on Skype and on here, I think it would be smart to go ahead and continue without him.

"Were doing damage, but not enough! I'm not gonna loose to these guys, you all focus on taking the last six doors out, I'll keep the things off of you for a little!"

Class ability: Impenetrable Iron Wall

 

The Tank Warrior's class ability can be manipulated somewhat, making them unique. But when it's manually used doesn't last for as long as if natural, and this one in particular is shorter than most. It forms a impenetrable barrier between foes for up to three turns when not manipulated. It drains all the energy from the user, though leaving the user very vulnerable and weak until it stops. Only last one turn when manually used.

"Derik!" He was barely able to stand up. Arissia went to his side as fast as possible, trying to pull him up to no avail. "Guys, Derik is out, I'll hold out and protect him, but you gotta get rid of the chambers now!" A bunch of droids were charging at the downed Derik, Arissia mowed down three of them, but the last two in that group got to Derik. He was hit very hard, a Talaware wielding one cut him across the chest and a claw wielding one attacked his arms, he didn't yell out in pain. though. "No!" Arissia chopped them up, then use very ounce of strength in her to grab him and move him from a less clustered area. He was bleeding, but somehow the wounds did not pour our with blood. She checked his pulse. "Still alive, barely. Hey!" She yelled at some of the remaining Fighters that were still fighting. "Derik needs sometime to recover, keep them off of us!" The group nodded, building a small wall around them. "He will be OK, but not if these numbers persist!"

(I only took two doors out and Silver took out the other one. Just making sure he receives his credit.)

 

Ri-an looked behind her to see Derik and Arissia. She heard their battle orders that sounded like good ideas. "Got it!" She called back, slicing down another enemy. She ran over to another nearby chamber. Standing right in front of it, the dancer ran up, slicing the bot in half as she vaulted backwards into another robot. The other one fell to the ground in front of the chamber. Ri-an twirled in midair, knocking the things head off. Landing on the ground badly (-1 HP) Ri-an groaned and spoke again. "Was that good enough?"

(I only took two doors out and Silver took out the other one. Just making sure he receives his credit.)Ri-an looked behind her to see Derik and Arissia. Luke turned to face the next chamber. Clutching his sword as tight as possible, he slashed once at the single robot before him, using the opening to nimbly maneuver over to the chamber. Quickly making his way there, he forcefully stabbed his blade into the nearest robot, shoving his foot into bot and knocking back into the chamber-- just like the previous one.

Zach's side still ached a little from where he'd been stabbed. He bared his teeth as he looked around at all the carnage going on in the area. Running over to one of the robots, he leapt into the air and once again turned into wolf form. It seemed that the robots had noticed and learnt this technique, however, as the robot dipped a little and Zach went over the robot, falling onto the ground and injuring himself a little in the process (-1hp?). Quickly, he got up and did the same technique once more, only when the robot dipped this time he switched back into his human form and lashed out with the Mana Claws, quickly destroying the robot. He landed nimbly on the ground. "So we just throw them into the door things?" he questioned, asking whomever would hear.

Is OK Gex, it happens, but I need to keep it rolling. And it will come, after the battle is over and I finish some things.

"Yeah, get as many broken as possible, Derik here as bought you protection from enemy attacks for a little, so use it!" Arissia yelled at the questioner.

The chamber was successfully destroyed-but the attack caused the robot to explode, throwing Luke back to the floor (-9 HP). But the chamber next to it is also destroyed in the explosion (Plus 4 extra EXP at the end of the enemy's turn)

Ryu quickly started to make her way over to opening. "Ugh, get out of my way!" she said as she destroyed another robot with two blows. When she finally made it to the other opening, it looked like the other one she has just destroyed, just with more robots coming out of this one. Ryu gripped her scythe hard and slashed it horizontally, knocking down four of them. Within two minutes, the chamber got heavily backed up. ~Action Ended~

I proceeded forward, walking stealthily past robots that were charging at the others. There were two more chambers left, and one was right in front of me. However, there were about 5 robots guarding it in a line. I would die if I didn't do something. I closed my eyes and breather quietly, then muttered, "Phantom Phase... Activate." Suddenly, everything around me went hazy and seemed like a dream, but I could still control my body in it. I looked down at my hands and they were transparent. Perfect, my technique was actually working! I walked right past one automaton and it didn't even notice me. I eventually crept to the side of one of the five robots lined up, pulled out my sword, and jabbed it through its head with all my strength. My skin became solid again as I attacked, but it didn't matter because the sword had pierced the heads of all five robots. I ripped the sword back out and they all fell to the ground, deactivate and utterly, well for simpler terms, owned. They hadn't even seen me coming and just like that I'd killed them. I turned my attention to the chamber, heaved my sword up, and sliced it diagonally, effectively destroying the chamber. One more to go...

Chamber Destroyed! One remains and Shaun now gains 2 more EXP per end turn

Luke stumbled back, dropping his blade as he clutching his arm.

"Gah...dang it.." He muttered, grabbing his sword off the ground. He stumbled back, trying to gain his balance back from his wound. "I've overestimated myself again. I'll...leave the last chamber to the others." Luke muttered, hating the idea of letting others finish the fight- but his sense told him his wounds could kill him if he overworked himself. Even then, two bots came near-- effectively asking for a death warrant.

"Even with my wounds-- I'm not going to show any fear." Luke muttered, slashing twice with his good arm at the two bots before him.

[Action ended]

"I am attacking the chamber!" Ren declared, her eyes turning to the last chamber, the closest to her. While Akito was holding the remaining robots off, Ren dashed towards the chamber that was left.

She kicked a couple of the robots out of the way, slicing the chamber in half.

"Ahh! What am I so destructive!?" She thought a bit mad at herself.
