 Once long ago, a plague wiped out most of the Earth's population, and out of the ashes, the remaining members of society created the world we live in. The Virus that nearly wiped us out long ago allowed no record of its devastation, nor samples of it in order to try to make sure something of this magnitude never started again. Three-hundred years after the Reconstruction, a school for people to learn the skills the most handy on the Earth as it is now formed, only taking one class per year. In this school, Dancing and Fighting are the focus, Dancing because it was a highly loved form of entertainment, and Fingthing because even with the reconstruction, many people were still feral, still willing to fight over the smallest things because the world lacked having these things. So they fight. So they Kill. So this school exist. It has been approximately fifty-five years since the ned or the Reconstruction. the year is 3825 AR. The world is a drastically different place from what we know, so, let us delve into its mystics and become the people this world would have had us become had we been born in this universe.

Day One: The DNA of a Heart

"And so class, that is the end of today's lecture on your fighting form. Thank you, Mr. Absolon for your demonstration of your highly advanced skills. As for you, class, take note of this presentation of skill. We all saw how much an inch of ground can affect your power and strength in blows." Derik sighed as he placed the practice wooden sword into its holster and into Mrs. Casada's outstretched hand and sat back down. Mrs. Casada's snow-white neck skin began to bounce around with vigor with each incoming word. Every syllable uttered from her mouth (Which looked like someone had smacked a ancient lady with a frying pan) had her wrinkled, deformed, spotted skin jumping like a kid on a sugar high. Her meager dark blue curved neckline dress that cascaded onto the floor ill-suited her, as she had a wider figure and she was short. Her high, very girly voice suited her the same as her dress. "Now onto tonight's training assignment! Every one of you at mid-night exactly will file down to the gymnasium with your weapon, there you will each place your ID card into the machine in the center of the floor and stand back after each student has done so. Weather you use this time in-between to get practice, talk, rest, or goof off will be your choice, but if you do not attend, you will be kicked out of the AADBT immediately, and all of the skills you gained here will be drained from your memory. This harsh treatment is because you are all to pass on soon, and you need to show us your DEDICATION!" She had screamed at the corner full of sleeping students, which aroused them all quickly. "But until the next time I see you, please, stay safe. And do not fight! Remember, only form of physical contact that is dealt to someone can only be in a supervised sparring match, any fighting outside of this will result in the same previously mentioned punishment. Dismissed!"

All Fighter-Classes are now free to move about the School. The school is larger than half the now abandoned city of Las Vegas' size, Sitting atop a cliff top, the school is surrounded by an Ocean and on the other side is a thick wooded area. The Mess Hall is where you can eat and obtain food, but you are not restricted to this area. Evey person has their own room, so do not worry about that.

 

Arissia was hardly breaking a sweat with her gymnastics dance routine, as she fluttered through the air. Often people would call her the Humming Bird, as she floated through the air with grace and speed. She double-back-flipped into a one fingered hand-stand, then falling into a half fished cart wheel and she bowed, then her music stopped. The class applauded at the routine, praising it and giving cheer. The red-haired teacher, whom they called Mr. Reaper, clapped loudly, his face drenched in sweat with an extreme level of content on his face. Arissia though "Perv. I can tell you were looking up my dress. I've never liked having a male teacher for a dance instructor."  She scoffed at him and gave him a glare of discontent and annoyance. Mr Reaper didn't see this though, and he walked over to the front of the room, cleared his throat, and spoke into the microphone "Wonderful! Wonderful! I knew the best routine would be last. Your lucky Arissia pulled your sorry toes out of the fire this week, your routines were mostly bad, and if Arissia wasn't among you, a good chunk of you would be running drills right now. Our only other real dancer in here right now is Ms.Sakurako. Which by the way, Ren, great job! You competed close to Arissia's level of skill. Keep it up. Now, for your nightly drill... Tonight, in the main gym, you will go and place your ID card into the machine in the center of the room. Failure to do this or any fighting results in expulsion and skill removal. I hope to see you all come back tomorrow well. Dismissed."

"I am attacking the chamber!" Ren declared, her eyes turning to the last chamber, the closest to her. While Akito was holding the remaining robots off, Ren dashed towards the chamber that was left.
She kicked a couple of the robots out of the way, slicing the chamber in half.
"Ahh! What am I so destructive!?" She thought a bit mad at herself.

Last chamber destroyed! 4 Extra EXP will be awarded at end turn, 2 for destruction, two for the final break!

Derik began to regain energy, but his injury's hit him hard. He started to write in pain. "Ari-Arissia... I'm feeling better. Go on, start bashing some heads."

"You kook! Don't do that to me again! I thought you were nearly dead!" Arissia hugged him, then helped him up. "Alright! All fighting able let loose! Finish them off!" Derik yelled with renewed confidence, even though his wound was starting to bleed heavily. He stepped out in front of the group, "Come on... Angel Reign!" Derik began to glow with a green aura, his strength increasing dramatically. He tore through 13 robots with one slash, tearing through their metal armor like a hot knife through half melted butter. He slashed through another 5 quick as lighting, before saying "Come on, lets get going!" He chopped another 3 up before taking a moment to breath.

Zach's eyes narrowed slightly as he focused, activating his lightweight ability. His body seemed to feel lighter, yet somehow he felt like he was more vulnerable. Rushing forward, he spun rapidly and became a metaphorical whirlwind of destruction, using the mana claws to slice through the robots as they got in his way. He took out three of them before he became slightly fatigued, and then barely managed to destroy another one that attempted to attack him. The attack hit him, but his attack finished the robot off also.

Ri-an got up and stretched. "You know, this is the most cruel thing I've ever been put through. Not cool." She spoke, quite frustrated. She became a whirlwind of destruction. Slices, dices, blocks, stabs, slashes, lunges, and parries manated from Ri-an. Nicks and scratches got at her, but nothing that could possibly stop her. She took down upwards of about thirteen. Finally finding an area free from the hordes, Ri-an called again. "I'm getting a little tired. Is there no end to the horde?"

Derik contenued to blow through enemy's, taking out 4 with each stroke, he slashed 3 times and then yelled to who was asking the question "There is, and its not far off. Keep fighting!

I charged towards another automaton and plunged my sword into its back, then quickly wrestled it to the ground. I brought my foot up and stomped on its chest until it deactivated. With a heave, I removed the sword and began charging toward another one. (Sorry for short post)

Ren kicked one of the robots that were around her, defeating one.

The one behind her attacked her right shoulder. (Ren -3hp). In rage, she grabbed the robot, cutting off its head, and slicing another one in half.

Luke rested his shoulder against a wall, watching as the others continued to valiantly fight for their lives.

Wasn't this some sort of test? So standing around will only lower my grade. Luke thought, standing straight again. The action created a sharp pain in his leg, but he ignored it. "I'll show them my resolve." Luke muttered, thrusting his sword forward into an unsuspecting robot before him, slashing once to hit the very next one as well.

Ryu started breathing heavily. Why are there so many of them left, she thought and slashed at one of the robot's neck. She jumped over it as it crashed to the ground and took out two more that was behind it. ~Action Ended~

I swung the blade and knocked its legs into the air, causing the body to thump against the ground, then I brought my sword down and shoved it into its chest. I removed it than charged, holding my blade out to the side as it severed four more robots in half. The area around me was starting to clear out, but the others needed help.

"Everyone down!" Derik yelled, the robots not understanding the command continued to stand as the others ducked. Derik then span himself like a high-speed top, his blades slashing and tearing through another 11 enemy's, then the machine in the middle of the room glowed, giving off the sound of a growl and oozing a radioactive green color in its lite. Derik stopped from dizziness, shaking out of it he stabbed one more enemy and killed it.

The dancer stood right in fron of the last robot, and made no move to stop her as she stabbed straight through it's emotionless robot heart. The final enemy fell to the ground. "Is that good enough!" she yelled to the supervisors.

"That's all of em!" Derik yelled. But as soon as he stated this, the machine's glow changed from green to red. "No no no! That's not possible! My robots should have killed you all, I did the math! Even if you destroyed the chambers, the exhaustion you all endured should have been enough!" The machine cried out like an upset little boy. "No no no! You all can't live or I can't leave! I'll deal with you all myself, ya big bully's!" The young voice was very cross, then, the robots destroyed were suddenly gravitating towards the machine, parts and wires swirling above it like a hurricane. The parts were then absorbed by the box. "Oh, you GOTTA be kidding me!" Arissia yelled in unison with all of the other Dancers, and a good chunk of the still living Fighter's. The machine then spewed off a head like that of a dragon, then the arms, legs, and tail appeared. It was a cybernetic dragon. "Seriously? What is this, a badly written-in story boss!?" Derik yelled. "I'm far more entertaining, not that you big meanies will get to know!" The cyber dragon stomped its foot on the gym ground, killing and injuring a few of the weak and tired, but none who were still strong enough to fight. "RARRRRRRRRG!" The beast glowed multiple colors, like that of a rave party room.

Boss: Techno-Beatz Dragon

"I'm gonna kill you all!" Techno-Beatz Dragon uses its Transform Ability, taking it into battle mode. Turn ends because Transform requires a turn for the user to recover energy from transformation.

Bosses are different from most fights. There will only be one enemy, and the final shot that kills it gives the dealer the ability to get a pet version of the animal looking bosses, and with humans the weapon they were wielding. You are only allotted two action sequence post.

"Great, we have a winy computer baby dragon to fight. Wipee, some assignment" Arissia said.

"I am not a baby! I'll have you know I'm over 355 years old!"

"An old, creepy baby. Time for your daily spanking!"

Derik burst out laughing. "Of all the puns, that one! Really!"

"Yes, if you have a problem take it up with my complaints department, or better yet, bite me."

"Ha, fine." Derik readied himself, he knew he would have to be careful in this fight. His wound from earlier was bleeding badly still, but now it had started to close up a little at least.

Arissia moved her body into position. She knew Derik was going to rush in and probably get himself hurt. She was right, at least on the rushing in part. Derik ran through to the beast's front leg, stabbing it he felt as if he did some damage, but as soon as he removed the blade, it regenerated. "Son of a... No... Not the time for it!" Derik then slashed through the leg, cutting and stabbing and slashing, but the leg always reformed. "Gods, damn them!" He kept chopping away, but the damage dealt just didn't take. He slashed through the leg in its entirety and it just re-attached. "Ha ha, that's like a tiny bug bite. Is that all you got?" The beast attempted to knock Derik back with one of its claws,, only for Arissia to take the blow instead. (-25 HP) She was collapsed on the floor.

When someone's HP reaches zero, they will not normally die unless they are attacked again after being reduced to zero HP, OR its a One hit kill attack. One hit kills don't happen until close to the end.

"Arissia!" Derik ran over to her, grabbing her body, it had a steel claw still inside of her. It had stabbed her through the chest, stomach, and leg, but in non-lethal areas. She was bleeding harshly though. It was likely she would die if she went without medical attention for much longer. Derik grabbed her and ran to the farthest corner of the room. "No. No! You can't die on me yet Arissia! Not now! Wake up!" He yelled, he couldn't help but cry like a child would, gasping and sniveling like crazy. All he could hear was the maniacal laughing of the beast behind him. "You... You will... You WILL DIE!" Derik ran over to the beast, slashing and cutting down anyone in his path. When he reached the beast, it swatted at him, but Derik dodged it and chopped at its arms and legs, its wings and its head, cutting and mowing down the beast as much as he could, but it kept regenerating. Still, though, it screamed out in pain. "Arrg! Stop! I 'm getting out of here, not you!" Derik had dismembered one of the back legs, but when he did, it kicked him back(-8 HP), knocking him back so hard he smashed through the farthest back wall and knocking him out cold. "Ha, killing you all is too easy! Who wants to be my toy nex-" The dragon's front leg broke off, a giant gash followed by what looked like blood flowed out. It cried out in pain, the kid ranting and raving about how bad it hurt before reattaching the leg back to its body.

Boss: Techno-Beatz Dragon

Zach looked at the mana claws that he had equipped. "I wonder..how much can these do?" he asked, thinking aloud. Switching his gaze to the dragon, his body tensed slightly. "People could seriously be hurt by this, it has to be stopped" he said, the heroic side of him kicking in. He leapt into the air, as high as he could, and swiped at the dragon, hitting it a couple of times before he got swatted away like a common housefly, and went crashing into the ground. He got up, and once again with a bloodthirsty roar he threw himself at the dragon, once more hitting it. However, he wasn't nearly fast enough the second time and got slammed into the ground, falling unconscious.

(and she's levelling up that fast because she's like, a super human machine or something, taking down three robots each post, occasionally more. I saw a post that she slaughtered thirteen of the robots, holy crap she's strong )

Shoot, everyone were dropping like flies! First Arissa, then Derik, and now Zach! They needed help! I ran toward the monster and leaped onto its back, stabbing it repeatedly. It shook me off violently and I went flying into a wall. Bricks fell on top of me as I lay at the bottom of the rubble. It hurt, but I wasn't down yet! Spikes shot out of my armor sending the bricks flying in all different directions as I stood up. "RRRAGGGGHHHH!" I activated my Berserk mode, the evil eyes of the man flashing in my head. They pissed me off so bad, and it just made me furious. I ran at the monster and started slashing it with strong brutal attacks. I brought my sword up ready to deliver a super strong blow, but the monster hit me in the stomach and once again, I went flying back into the wall. I forgot, my berserk made my defense extremely vulnerable. Ugh... I put my head down, as I was very tired. (-15 HP)

Basically they broke all the chambers, Gen's OC and both my OC's are out and your fighting a giant dragon formed from the remains of all the robots that can regenerate. Info for defeat/hp hitting zero is in my last main turn update post.

"So not cool." Ri-an said. She watched as the giant dragon defeated four of her comrades already. She knew rushing in wouldn't be too helpful at this point. Fighting such a large and powerful beast by charging. So she instead walked slowly and carefully forwards. It's attention not on her quite yet, Ri-an stopped right in front of the thing. The she dashed towards it. She flipped upwards and stabbed her sword into the dragon's head. The now enraged dragon slapped her out of the air. She landed with a crunch meters away. <-11HP> "Oww..." she moaned, pushing herself up. Ri-an realized that her sword was still hilt-deep in the thing's head. "Crap. Now I don't have a weapon." she muttered.

Well, after 2 level ups, your class gains a instant kill ability after the fight, as well as some crazy stats. So yeah, you have just left us all in the dust...

Akito smiled. "Heh. This seems fun enough." He turned to face his partner. "Leave this to me and the others... mostly me. Stay back and don't get hurt." He launched his chain up and into the boss's eye. He pulled himself up and over, spinning he landed three slices with his sword on the back of it's neck. He landed deftly on the other side of it, and sprinted back to Ren's side, where he first jumped. Pulling back on the chain, he turned the dragon's neck on it's side and ripped off part of the top of it's head. He grabbed Ren and jumped back, avoiding the crashing debris he pulled toward them. Slowly but surely, his chain made it out of the metal and back into his sword. "You okay?" He asked.

I looked back up slowly. I was almost dead here, but I wasn't finished yet. Ri-an's blade was in the monsters head. She would die if nobody helped her.... I couldn't just sit here and watch, I had to act. I breathed heavily and whispered, "Phantom Phase, activate." Suddenly, everything around me went hazy. My body turned transparent and the bricks that were on me fell to the ground. I was temporarily invisible. Quickly I limped my way up behind the monster. I saw the sword in its head, but how could I get up there? Hopefully... it wouldn't notice me climbing on its back. I started my ascent, still invisible and everything around me hazy and dark. Finally, when I got to the top, I sighed heavily and deactivated the Phantom Phase so that I could pull the sword out. I used my arms and pulled Ri-an's sword out of the head, blood squirting as I did so. "Ri-an, catch!" I shouted as I tossed the sword down to her. I was incredibly tired, but had to get down. I jumped off the monster (-2 HP) and rolled to the side, the ominous monster hovering over top of me. "Someone... help..." I whispered as Akito began to attack the beast.

Luke turned, easily spotting the behemoth that was the Techno-Beatz Dragon. It was certainly hard to miss, and Luke slapped his blade into his sheathe, walking slowly up to the monster. He saw all of the others attack the beast, watching as many fell to it.

"It seems you show some more resolve. For this, you get to watch as I rip you apart." Luke murmured, clutching his sheath close. He murmured a word, readying himself. "For this, you get to see not my blade-- but my entire spirit itself. Fear my sheathed blade." Luke said, rushing forward to slice hard against the monster; without ever looking like he took out his sword.

As its head fell to the ground, the little voice screamed in pain, but then pulled itself together and reattached its head, then feeling the slashes of  a young man in knights armor, He yelled " I have had enough of you! Enough of you all!" Beast Ability: Force end.

 

This creature is classified as a beast, and has a Beast Ability. Beast Ability's range from healing to inflicting status effects. Forced End in this case, it allots the enemy an attack during the opposing players turn

The Tecno-Beatz grabbed hold of Shaun, as well as Luke, and threw them as hard as possible, following it up with a shot of thunder from its mouth. It roared and screeched, as if it was think the battle over, it sounded triumphant.
