Nintendo has done such a poor job with advertising the Wii U. They've barely given a proper explanation as to how the Wii U is very different from the Wii. A lot of people think that the Wii U is just a add-on for the Wii, especially with it's Gamepad controller. They should do a better job with advertising and give a better explanation about their new system. I mean we barely seen any commercials about the Wii u and what it does differently from the Wii.

 

The only commercial they made was this one and this didn't explain anything at all. It only showed that casual gamers can play on the Wii U but didn't really show how it's a unique console and why people should buy it.

It could use better advertising if it's only got one commercial. It's sales aren't doing very well so I think more (GOOD) advertising would help out.

A lot of people think that the Wii U is just a add-on for the Wii, especially with it's Gamepad controller.

Yeah I saw this on Mynintendonews and when I saw this I had no idea how this would help explain what the Wii U is. Nintendo really needs to step their game up with their advertisement on the Wii U. Otherwise it will throw a lot of people off on what the system is.

The PlayStation 3 used have a terrible advertising system. Now they have Google Chrome's.

 

The PS3 had and still has today plenty of great titles coming out pretty much every month. 

 

The Wii U has to release great titles for it be successful.

I pretty much just said that. No one wants to develop for the Wii U because it's nothing special. It's a new console with hardly anything going for it. The PlayStation 3 and 4 have all the third-party developers.

Yeah, it's a good system. It just needs to build up a good library of games to make it sell better.

Honestly, they should have scrapped the Wii name and marketed an entirely different brand name.Same with the 3ds, most people think the Wii U is an add-on to the Wii, and that the 3DS is only a DS with a 3D feature, -_-
