I mean, in the story Kairi's Grandmother told Kairi about Kingdom Hearts/The Legend of Kingdom Hearts and the X-Blade, it was said that at first, all of the worlds were one, bathed in Light from Kingdom Hearts and that when people fought over it, Darkness formed in their hearts and covered the world, also swallowing Kingdom Hearts with it. But that the fragments of Light, that split from the X-Blade, rebuilt the worlds that are seperated and is the world that KH takes place in at the moment.

 

Well, when the worlds were once whole, they could've been considered a whole world, or a planet, right? I was thinking, before Kingdom Hearts was swallowed and never seen again, that maybe, the planet/world which all of the seperate worlds splintered of from, was maybe Earth? I mean, it'd make sense, considering how almost every single Disney movie, tends to take place on Earth(Or a fairy tale land that doesn't exist). So why not Kingdom Hearts?

Ok true. Considering how non of the FF titles take place on Earth, that could make all the difference. I think it'll be revealed.

 

I'm sure the KH series will Officially end(If it ever actually ends, unlike Final Fantasy) once Kingdom Hearts is brought back to the normal world, and Light surrounds the worlds, reuniting them again.

I think Weiss' answer is the best way to think of it, the World was probably a place similar to Earth but not strictly. Perhaps an "alternate" Earth at best.

Snow White was originally a German story so I think it can assumed it took place there. Sleeping Beauty and I'm pretty sure Cinderella are both French.

The Three Musketeers: France (boy there are a lot of French stories)

 

And those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head. 

Would be something to consider, but i dont think it will planned at all to go with the story.

From what I can tell Bambi is a European originated story and Dumbo and Toy Story are American but their settings are broad. Bambi just takes place in a forest...somewhere (maybe Europe), Dumbo takes place in a traveling circus, and Toy Story takes place in a town(s)...somewhere(presumably America).

Toy Story could be in this becuase, In Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix.....Buzz and, Woody were post to be Summons but they didn't end up as one.

Probably takes place in Andy's house, but shrunken to their size? I have thought about KH universe being on whole planet, or "Earth." As for TNBC, maye it's another demension? Yeah I have no idea how would that work. Lol
