Holy crud, I know right?  When Sora and Riku returned to Destiny Islands in KH2, their parents were nowhere in sight!!!!  Maybe they are part of the XIII Darknesses???  xD

That is an interesting fact there.  I'm guessing that Marluxia's name would be Aruliam, Larxene would be Arlene, Demyx would be Emyd, and maybe Luxord would be Rould?  Who knows? :O

There's only so much you can tell in a story, though. For example, who Eraqus and Xehanort's Master was isn't really all that important, and the story will move on perfectly fine without knowing. As you said, Nomura like his fans to speculate, so he may just outright leave some stuff out to forever make the fans wonder, which is awesome. There are legit mysteries I'd rather know first, like where the heck Terra is now.

Good point.  I've always thought that Terra is still in the Keyblade Graveyard, waiting to finally recover his body, which I think will only happen when Terranort, which I assume is one of the XIII Darknesses, is defeated by Sora and the gang.  Then I imagine that they search for Aqua, and then she leads them to Castle Oblivion, where she goes to fetch Ventus.  And then, you have the merry group ready to fight LEGENDARY MASTER XEHANORT! :D

I'd like to know the backstories of Ven, Terra, and Aqua from before BBS.

That's something I've always wondered about too, and it's something I hope ends up being cleared up. :)

Same here. Maybe they'l reveal more in KH3.

Backstories for characters who aren't Xehanort.

I wanna know what Terra and Aqua were like before BBS... where did they come from? Where did Ventus come from? What about the childhood of the apprentices? What are the real names and past lives of Larxene, Marluxia, Demyx? What do the parents think about this shit? Where ARE the parents? For the matter of Xehanort, even, what was earlier childhood like? When did he meet Eraqus? Who was the Master of Xehanort and Eraqus? Why is Xehanorts name an anagram of "No Heart"? Why does Eraqus have a stick wedged so far up his ass? Where did Riku come from? Where did Sora come from? We know Kairi came to Destiny Island after Radiant Garden got it's shit messed up... who are her parents? We know her grandmother, but not HER mother... Are capes officially dropped from armors, or will they be replaced later on?

AND ANOTHER THING:

Just what is the deal with the concept of the Keyblade and the Keyblade War. I mean, there's gotta some more backstory than the fairy tale Kairi's Gramma spun for us. Nah, there's got to be some kind of Jesusy, magicky bullshit to it. As in, like, maybe there's a deeper meaning to why Keyblades exist. Maybe they have some kind of enigmatic intellegence to them. Can you imagine that? The Keyblade's being ALIVE, to some extent? Maybe that's why they have the ability to be called upon by their wielders through their wills. Come to think of it: who forged the Keyblades? A sword doesn't just poof out of nowhere. There has to be someone who magically crafts them all. Or, maybe the first guys to wield them created them, and with the creation of the Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony, gave the next generation the ability to create their own, and so on and so forth...

That, my friend, is an interesting theory. Do you imagine that we meet the original blacksmith of the Keyblade?  That would be epic! :D

You know, Xehanorts name also Anagrams to "Another".

So much mystery to his name!!!  And you know, I like what Firaga 96 said about someone crafting the Keyblades.  He does have a point, because the Keyblades can't have those epic designs simply because they're magical.  There has to be someone behind the designs, someone who is asked to do the Keyblades.  I imagine someone like Totosai from Inuyasha, who forged Tetsusaiga, Inuyasha's mighty sword, and Sesshomaru's Tenseiga.  So taking that as example, it would be cool if we met the blacksmith that created the Keyblade!  Maybe a serious, grim survivor from the Keyblade War? :O

He's probably some ultra-super-God like Keyblader who has, like, the Ultima Weapon on steroids. xD

Then it wouldn't be called the Ultima Weapon.  It would be called the Steroid Strength Ball Chopper! xD

It's probably longer than Sephiroth's blade and has even more stickers on it than UW. lol

The Keyblade Blacksmith should like look like some rugged dude who's in his 40s but has jacked muscles and long black hair that hangs off his forehead. That would the most badass thing KH has ever produced.

I can already visualize it!  Dude, we should suggest this to Nomura and pray that he chooses us out of the billions of fans that have many ideas!  xD

You know, Xehanorts name also Anagrams to "Another".

Also "No Earth". Xehanort has a certain history with the members of trios with Earth names... Terra, Riku, and Axel/Lea being a member of the Organization...

That is indeed an interesting fact.  Wow, it's amazing how we can delve so deep into such simple things regarding the series.  I freaking love these theories and speculations, it makes my mind teem with so many possibilities!!!!!  Kingdom Hearts 3 will be majestic!  MAJESTIC I SAY! :D

OMG, I just realized EARTH ANAGRAMS TO HEART.

OMG, I just realized EARTH ANAGRAMS TO HEART.

A reason why I'm skeptical the Earth part is intentional. Heart seems more logical... but then, it is Nomura, and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised. It is one hell of a coincidence...

Riku - I believe it is Japanese for land? I know it translate to something to do with earth.

Terra - Latin for earth. Pretty sure...

Lea - some language, maybe latin, for "Plain". Like a field, or, again, part of the earth...

Riku got posessed in the first game by Xehanorts heartless. Lea was turned into a nobody and used to further Xehanorts Nobody's plan. Terra was taken by the original form. All three aspects of the earth have something to do with one of the three aspects of Xehanort. And Xehanorts name happens to translate to "No Earth." That is one fuckballs of a coincidence.

So if No Earth is a legit thing, then what then does No Heart mean? Xehanort has never not had a heart... there appears to be no real significance. Unless it's more metaphorical, kind of like when you call someone a "Heartless bastard!".

Another... what could that mean? An allusion to all of the forms of Xehanort? There will always be Another? Or maybe it's saying that "There is another"... kind of like in Return of the Jedi, when Yoda says "There is another skywalker." as he's dying. An allusion towards a future villain, or some other enigmatic character, maybe? Which actually just gave me a terrible thought... what if Xehanort himself is a pawn? Gonna come back to Star Wars again, and reference the "Always two there are. A master... and an apprentice.". Maybe Xehanort is working for some other person. Perhaps his old master, that trained him and Eraqus. Or some other person...

The more I think on that, the more sense it makes to me. And it's, actually Xehanorts name that offers evidence. It is a hell of a coincidence that the name of a person who will eventually obsess over the X blade and give anagrams with X to his organization, actually has a name that is both an anagram, and an anagram with an X.

Perhaps, there was some other Keyblade master, who approached Xehanort, and dubbed him as an apprentice in his cause to get the X-Blade. He forced the boy to cast away his old name, and instead gave him a cryptic anagram as a name... with a recusant sigil to boot. And this whole time, Xehanort has really been following that persons command...

Or maybe, he named himself.

We havn't seen Xehanort as a child. The first chronological appearance of Xehanort is on the Destiny Islands beach, where he looks out to the ocean, and says "This world, is just to small..." It's even more important, now that we know this is the exact moment Ansem went back in time and gave Young Xehanort his mission.

Now what if, Xehanort was not his original name... something else was. But, in addition to everything else Ansem had Young Xehanort go forward and do, he also gave him a name? And he said "From here on out, you shall be called Xehanort", or something like that. "It is a symbol of what you will become" or something. And thusly, through yet another time line mindfiretruck, Ansem named his original persons own self.

And you can't say that it will cause some kind of timeline paradox, because "Well if Xehanort named himself, then what was he called BEFORE he Ansem went back in time?", well, you're forgetting that the Ansem that went back in time is from KH1. In KH1, we know nothing about the original Xehanort. We only know Ansem.

We don't know what the backstory could have been in KH1... so, in the world BEFORE Ansem went back in time, his original self was just called whatever his original name was... let's say Enix. (Becuase Eraqus and Enix. Get it? Bahahahaha Im so clever). So Enix was a boy who really firetrucking hated Destiny Islands, so he got off at shit and went and trained with Eraqus under a master, and he later got obsessed with darkness and blah blah blah... basically the same story we know only with the name Enix. Terrenix was amnesiac, and the only name he remembered when the apprentices found him was "Enix" blah blah so on. And then, Ansem, his heartless comes about, and he goes back in time and say, "firetruck that enix bull. We're giving you a more significant name". And so time was rewritten but only in Xehanorts name.

Just a theory.

No Heart is probably what Nomura was going for because:

No Heart = Heartless = Ansem SOD.

Another = Another Side, Another Story(Roxas/Nobody) = Xemnas.

Wow, I really like this theory.  It really makes one think that maybe Xehanort is really nothing more than just a pawn.  Can you imagine that? D:  Then if this is nothing compared to what a superior might be...then our heroes are screwed!  They will die in the next saga! X_X  Excellent theory man, I really loved it, as it was very well thought out. Respect, bro. *bows down*
