When the world is covered in darkness, Heros rise in all shapes and sizes. To save the world they must start small before going big. Especially when fight demons, ghosts, and other monsters of the dark. They are mages, warriors, gunners, experiments, mutations, and more. When they all fall under the same goal. They work together and become stronger than they are alone. Can you work to save they world? Or will you die trying?

 

Tokyo, Japan, 3023. it is the middle of july and day light never comes but time still runs on and is kept by the silvery white and firey red moons that encirlcles the world. it is midnight, a new day. it has become cold on one side but abnorally warm on the other. the entirety of japan is covered in neverending snow fall. ice demons, succubi, skeletal samurai, and phantasms roam the area of tokyo and around, they are the only known creatures in the area but many survivors have heard of others that are unseen to them.... but will the join together or never come out of hiding..... this new day. the time.... 00:01 military time. or in other terms 1:01 AM. the new day has begun, the day the release from hell begins... the day the fire that melts the neverending snow is lit. The count down to hell begins now...
 

Ryan kept building a layer of metal on his 'fortress'. He was calm and fairly happy with his creation "a few gears here a couple of levers there. Aaaanndd done" he said before running inside and locking it up tight..

 

 

Kruka was recovering quickly

 

Regal watched Naoko from atop the school "i hope she knows what she is doing. It isnt safe to leave the pack alone."

 

 

The light in the sky bega nto fall in the night.

Terry's expression was completely dark as she checked Kruka's pulse.He was ok .But she was still angry even when Regal old them that the needle had the information they needed.''Why he didn't say that sooner?Did he had to go by suprise like that?''she was thinking these question when another one made her face even more darker and sadder''Why would I care for something like that when I did a similar thing?Why did I do it?".Then Alexei came by her as she look at him.She saw that even he was disturbed too,but still,he thought about the others before him."Down worry,Alexei...I know,it came in a shock and Regal could have told us about the needle and his plan before doing it...right"she looked confused and again that butterflies-in-the stomach sensation again happened to Terry.Started thinking if she started to like Alexei in another way.

 

Then Naoko ran out from the school and she was gone for a long time.Terry became both curious and worried."Should I go after her?"

Daniel sat down heavily on the ground, muttering something about bipeds.

"That might be best, Terry." He answered the ghost girl's question. "It ain't safe to be alone out and about. Just be careful yourself."

Daniel wanted to go after Naoko himself, but it occurred that he was probably part of the problem too, so it was better to have someone else watch Naoko's back.

The red light began to rapidly decend

"Right"she agreed as she stood up.She looked back at Alexei giving a soft smile"I'll be back"she disappeared in front of his eyes and went after Naoko.She found her with a stranger with a mask on his mask,telling her to come with him."Wait,don't tell me..."her thoughts stopped as Naoko jumped in the hole."What! Naoko! Wait!"Terry jumped in the hole without thinking twice.As she let herself down the hole,gravity pulled her faster for some reason.As a ghost gravity wasn't a problem.Unfortunately ,she passed Naoko without getting seen.The place became darker and darker.....

Naoko was falling rather quickly but once she saw the bottom she used her wind magic to land safely. It was somewhat dark and for some reason she felt something when she was falling seconds ago, but perhaps it was her imagination. Once again she focused on finding the masked man. "Hey, are you there? Don't leave me behind""I would never do that, I told you to follow me, didn't I?" the man said in a calm tone while he appeared from behind Naoko. "This way. We are almost there"Naoko followed the man for a couple of minutes, carefully looking around in case there was some trap waiting for her."I assure you, there is not a single trap here, you can relax you are safe here" the man stopped once they reached the end of the tunnel. "Here we are." he said to Naoko.Naoko's eyes couldn't believe what they were seeing, there were some houses there, but the most surprising thing was the demons. "You told me-""I know what I said. Do not worry, they will not hurt you. Just like the girl who was killed by one of your so called "friends", they want to live in peace, away from the war and Lucius, that is the reason they are hiding here.""So...they are good?" she asked the man.The man chuckled. "Good or Bad. Those are just concepts you humans and other lesser beings use to justify your actions, but if that makes you feel better, yes, they are good." the man took his mask off, revealing a young face. "Well, shall we?"Naoko was looking at the greenish-blue eyes of the man. "Yeah sure, uh...""If you need something to call me, you can call me...."the man closed his eyes for a moment. "This" he made a kanji on the wall."So your name is...Zero?" Naoko tilted her head."I prefer the name Rei, although it means the same" he then walked towards a building followed by Naoko behind him. " I wonder if our other guest is alright, she is a ghost but I'm still worried" Rei thought.

Alexei nodded thoughtfully to Terry's question just as Daniel told her that she should. He smiled at Terry. "Be careful," he told her. His eyes widened as the ghost girl then disappeared before his very eyes, he got over his surprise almost immediately however, and glanced back down at Kruka. Getting to his feet Alexei turned to Daniel. "Well, shall we go see what Regal is up to?" he asked. 

Terry was still just part of the invisible air as she was going beside Naoko thought the tunnel.She was shock of what she was."Is this a demons' resistance?Is this..Hell?"she thought fearfully because Hell was the last place she wanted to be,her biggest nightmare.But they all seemed peaceful.Terry's curiosity begged for exploration but she remembered her duty:she was here for Naoko. She listened to stranger carefully and she was rather angry when he said "so called friends"and plus,it was Regal's move he should've blamed.She decided to listen more,but somehow her body fell off...then she realises she should hide in the darkness of the tunnel.She couldn't control her invisibility for some reason. Fortunately,nobody noticed her.

The light accellerated and a few other lights split from it and soon dissapeared.

 

Regal watched it fall "so the moment of truth is upon us the moment the fallen angels unite. Explains why kruka is healing quickly. So now what other surprises will we face? Parts of hell appearing on earth? More demons? So many possibilities" said Regal aloud as he layed atop the school building.

Rei went inside one of the buildings followed by Naoko."You can stay here. As you can see, you have everything you need. Furniture, food and water and a bed of course" Rei said to Naoko."Yeah...well...I have some questions for you Rei, if you don't mind answering them" Naoko sat on the bed."I have no problem in answering your questions Miss. Just be aware that maybe you will not like some of the answers" was Rei's response."First, my name is Naoko not Miss" she made a pouty face. "Alright, I want to know what this place is. Who you really are and why are you helping demons if you're an Angel. Those are my questions for now" Naoko crossed her arms waiting for the answers.Rei just stared at the young blond for a few seconds. "Very well. This place is a distortion in Space and Time specifically designed to protect the demons who wanted to escape Lucius and the war, it was created by me to help those who wanted to stop fighting and not many can enter without my permission. About who I am, I told you, I am no one, think of me as just another Angel who came from Heaven and nothing else." Naoko was about to ask what did he meant with those words. "And why am I helping demons. Why wouldn't I? They suffer the same way humans do with this war. They want to live in peace so a made this pocket universe for them."Naoko was surprised by some of the answers Rei gave her. "You are very different from another angel I know. You actually care more about those who are suffering rather than to follow orders from a ruthless god" Naoko looked at the ground. "Why him and not you...maybe that demon could...""It's alright Naoko, you better rest, it was a difficult day and you are tired" Rei got closer to Naoko and gently rubbed her head. "Sleep and you will feel fine"Naoko nodded and laid in bed, slowly closing her eyes and falling asleep.Rei on the other hand left the building and went towards the tunnel."I know you are there, you can come out I'm not going to hurt you." he said to Terry. "And of course, the demons here are not going to hurt you either, you are safe"

Daniel sighed.

"Star gazing, by the look of it." He commented, nodding towards the falling light. "Good omens, I hope."

He stood up and stretched.

"Let's go." He said and headed towards Regal.

Regal stood up immediatly as he heard footsteps on the roof and pulled out his gun and aimed it at the source only to lower it when he saw it was Daniel. "I suspect you saw the angel falling? We should make haste" he said

Terry was trying really hard to gain her invisibility back but she was still struggling.Her worries began to increase as they went to the building.While she was trying to get it back,she was making up a plan.She couldn't let Naoko just stay there.

 

"I know you are there, you can come out I'm not going to hurt you.And of course, the demons here are not going to hurt you either, you are safe"

 

She snapped.She couldn't hide anymore. She wanted to run,but....She needed more answers. This guy seemed nice,but what would he want from Naoko?Why was he so protective over her?Can't she...just ask him nicely?

Terry decided to do this idea.She walked out from the tunnel with a serious look on her face"Your name was Rei,wasn't it?You may be wondering why am I doing here?"

"Your name was Rei, wasn't it? You may be wondering why am I doing here?" was the response Rei got from the person, or rather ghost, that came from the tunnel."Yes, my name is in fact Rei and to be more accurate I am more curious about why are you hiding instead of just coming with us. Like I told Naoko, there is no danger in this place, not for those seeking peace at least" Rei said to Terry.Rei leaned on the wall, but first retracted his wings so he could do it."Anyways, I saw how you tried to save that young Succubi too and for that you are welcome here, only those like the one who killed that young girl are not welcome, those who follow "orders" without thinking for themselves don't have my sympathy or those who like to see others suffer"Rei then looked at Terry."But tell me Miss. What was the reason you followed us?" he asked.

Danile shrugged.

"Sure, but we'd better collect people." He said. "Naoko and Terry are out an about. We can pick 'em up on the way."

Terry sighed because she didn't know how will Rei respond,but decided to speak anyway."I was worried about Naoko.I thought she might have been in danger so I went after her, without her knowing.Yes,I was invisible this whole time and I had to hide in the tunnel because I couldn't control my invisibiity. And I'm sorry for stalking you and not showing up before....I forgot to introduce myself..I'm Terry.Terry Oswald."Terry also knew that she had to tell him about the countdown."You seem very protective towards Naoko and the demons..Is it bad if I ask you..why?"

"That is comprehensible, not every day you met with a stranger who offers to help you, and do not worry about "stalking" me, like I said it is comprehensible. " Rei told her."You seem very protective towards Naoko and the demons..Is it bad if I ask you..why?" Terry asked."I am very protective with every one here, they deserve to have a happy life, away from the terror of war" Rei answered in a calm tone.It was a small feeling but Rei managed to feel how another angel had fallen."I am sorry Terry Oswald but it seems that another Angel as fallen, perhaps you know what I am talking about, right? The other angel you and your group have been waiting for. If you'd like, I could take you to your....friends...so you can keep going with whatever you need to do. I'm not too happy with being near the one who killed that young girl but it will be faster for you" Rei smiled at Terry. "So, do you want me to take you there? You don't have to worry about Naoko, she only needs to rest and I will take her back once she wakes up"

Terry was a bit suprised about his quest."Allright,I'm not sure where did it land it, but if we find my group, I'll tell them that you don't mean any harm"Still, she felt suspision about him but she can't do nothing about it.As they were going throught the tunnel,her expression got serious and her mind filled with thoughts, riddles and questions.How will the others react?Is he telling the truth?Will Naoko be allright?Well at least,he did looked like a nice person.There were many evidence.But now since she now realised that he isn't bad it's time for the truth."Umm..Rei,I really need to tell you,something.Something really serious..."On their way up,she told him about everything:the countdown,the master devil,the angels,the hydra,the succubi..she even showed him the timer on her hand

Ryan stayed in the iron fortress of an apartment complex. its wasn't hard to miss and it was clearly a stronghold. his face lit by dim lights. He huddled up in a corner and covered his ears as demons scraped the metal to get inside "Go away. Go away Go away Go away" he chanted to himself.

Rei listened Terry with complete interest, even though he knew most of the information she told him."I see, so they want to constantly remind you about the end of Japan with the timer." Rei stopped walking and crossed his arms.For a few seconds many thoughts crossed his mind, Lucius was in most of them, how could such a young demon be capable of doing so much destruction just to amuse himself."Terry Oswald, I'm afraid that I will make you take the "fast" route, please forgive me if it feels odd or if you somehow feel sick" without wasting another second, Rei took one of Terry's hands, his hair began to glow with a faint blue light while his white wings came out of his back, and suddenly they were outside of the tunnel, they were close to the school to be more precise. "Here we are Terry Oswald, I will stay here while you talk with your...friends...alright?"Rei then looked in a different direction form the school. He could hear it, demons scratching some metallic surface, probably trying to get inside one of the buildings"Perhaps there is another survivor" Rei thought to himself.

a few Ice Demons flew across the sky from the building as if thrown by a powerful force and shattered against a building.

 

Regal had already taken a few steps outside the barrier and began heading towards the drop spot of the final angel.

Was that the sound of ice shattering? probably some of the demons loyal to Lucius but Rei wanted to investigate."What to do what to do?" he then noticed the Angel who killed the Succubi "Oh, so that's where you're going, I guess I will go and meet with your friend first."Rei then looked at Terry."Sorry Terry Oswald, I have to go now but do not worry I will come back"Rei's hair began to glow again and in less than a second he vanished into thin air only to appear on top of a building, he kept using his warp ability to reach the spot where the Angel had fallen.

The Sound barrier then broke just as Rei reappeared nearby and then the angel hit a building but left a hole in it and didn't topple it.

Rei was amazed, even though he was an Angel himself, watching those from "above" fall was an exciting experience in itself."Impressive, and whoever fell didn't destroyed the whole building" Rei said in an amused tone, then warped once again to the spot the Angel had landed.
