When the world is covered in darkness, Heros rise in all shapes and sizes. To save the world they must start small before going big. Especially when fight demons, ghosts, and other monsters of the dark. They are mages, warriors, gunners, experiments, mutations, and more. When they all fall under the same goal. They work together and become stronger than they are alone. Can you work to save they world? Or will you die trying?

 

Tokyo, Japan, 3023. it is the middle of july and day light never comes but time still runs on and is kept by the silvery white and firey red moons that encirlcles the world. it is midnight, a new day. it has become cold on one side but abnorally warm on the other. the entirety of japan is covered in neverending snow fall. ice demons, succubi, skeletal samurai, and phantasms roam the area of tokyo and around, they are the only known creatures in the area but many survivors have heard of others that are unseen to them.... but will the join together or never come out of hiding..... this new day. the time.... 00:01 military time. or in other terms 1:01 AM. the new day has begun, the day the release from hell begins... the day the fire that melts the neverending snow is lit. The count down to hell begins now...
 

Varael gave Rei a concerned look.

"That's a morbid view point to take." He said. "The time of this physical plane will end, but that does not mean those that once lived there will disappear. Death is merely a product of this world. Once it passes, so to will death."

Varael looked forward and squinted slightly.

"I do believe that our destination is in sight." He said, pointing out the school.

 

Daniel blinked a few times at Naoko, a tired expression coming over his face.

"I was, though the reason why escapes me right now." He answered dryly.

He turned away, then turned back suddenly, his eyes blazing.

"You know what, if you are gonna give me this crap, we might as well make this official. You seem to blame me in part for that demon's death."

Daniel grabbed the lapels of his coat and drew them out, exposing his chest to Naoko.

"Then let's practice the oldest kind of justice, right here and now. Eye for an eye. If you want to keep holding a grudge from your high moral stance, then balance the scales of the helpless demon's death by going for my heart. Either bury the hatchet and let's get back to saving people, most of whom around here have been slaughtered by demons, or live by your stance and balance things out!"

As the group of 4 kept walking,Terry listened to Varael and Rei's conversation.She didn't say anything,but she got interested in their strange wisdom and made her think about some part of the disscution.She did agree with Rei about that we shouldn't jugde anybody by who they are or what they are and that everybody should be free.She also agreed with Varael about the world being peaceful yet noisy place,since as a ghost,she usually went house by house and evidenced many different stories.But something seemed off with both of them.Rei's story about he boy and his final conclusion creeped her out.And don't get her started thinking about what Varael mentioned earlier."My duties only begin after a being's time of living has ended...."Terry got even more scared from him.He knew her full name without asking,he knew she is a ghost.."Is he working with....No,if he really did that,why would he help people out?Still I cannot get to trust this guy....What if...he's after me?"She was thinking until Varael pointed that they were near."Yeah,you're right.."she said cheerfully.But there was a contrast in her thoughts"firetruck...just..firetruck.Will I be able to make all of them work as a team?We're running out of time"she sighed"Follow me,guys"she said as she oped the gate.The angels were in school yard and they all like the were arguing about ssomething.There was a new angel.She was a female with 3 pair of wings.Terry got curious about her."Kruka,Regal...I brought you some new mates.."

Varael nodded greetings to the other angels.

Rei's response was a small chuckle."My view point may be morbid but that is the point of free will, right? he smiled.After they went into the school field the other 3 angels were having a little conversation."Kruka,Regal...I brought you some new mates.." Terry said.Rei looked away, apparently Naoko woke up and she was now outside the pocket universe.Naoko was surprised by Daniel's reaction but did well on hiding it for it was expected."Apparently you can't take a comment as a joke Daniel. While it is true that I was angry at Regal and you, I no longer see the necessity in holding a grudge against either of you" she said while crossing her arms."My time away made me realize that not every person can share my view point and that it doesn't matter because everyone is different, Regal was following his orders and you...well, you have your reasons. We should put all this situation behind us and not let it torn us apart. I think it was rude of me to make that joke and for that" Naoko bowed at Daniel. "I apologize. I do not want you to think that I still hold a grudge against you because that is far from reality. I want us to still be friends. So?" she then hold her hand out at Daniel. "Do you forgive me? Can we put all of this behind and still be friends?" Naoko asked Daniel.

Varael stopped and considered Rai's comment.

"True." He admitted, then smiled. "It certainly makes things a little more complicated, but fun."

 

Daniel gave Naoko a cold stare for a few seconds, then let his coat close.

"Losing my humor." He said as he took Naoko's offered hand. "See? You should have taken me along."

His face relaxed a little and he winked at Naoko.

"You are probably a bigger person then I am. And that's saying something."

He smiled slightly.

"Friends it is then."

Rei nodded at Varael."It sure is" he smiled. "Life. What a curious thing"Naoko shaked Daniel's hand and smiled."Alright, friends"she then looked behind Daniel and then back at him."Say Daniel, wasn't Alexei with you? I was told that there was more than one person coming this way" Naoko asked Daniel.

Daniel turned with a cocked eye brow.

"He should be here." He said. "He was right behind me."

Daniel's eyes narrowed for a moment.

"Probably watching our backs."

Kruka turned as soon as Terry said that she had brought new allies but immediately his eyes focused of Vareal. he pulled the lance and pointed it at him "Bound, Fallen, or Risen?" he asked

 

Regal and Anka didn't notice the angel until Kruka said those world and they too, knowing the meaning scattered so they were infront and on the sides of the angel, gun and bow drawn. clearly not prepared for other angels.

 

Ryan jumped when this happened and he dropped to the ground.

"Working vacation." Varael answered Kruka. "I volunteered to aid those battling for the humans. I am Varael, an angel of death, here to help protect those yet to come under my duty."

He kept stock still as he spoke. His blue eyes, slightly glowing, stared unblinking into Kruka's eyes.

Rei looked at the three angels surrounding Varael."Easy there, we are all angels" he sighed. "You three need to calm down"he then spread his wings."If any of us began to fight then the result may be that the surrounding area would be destroyed or maybe all of Japan. So calm down and lower your weapons please"

Terry didn't knew what to do in the state where the angels pointed weapons at Varael.But what really shocked her was Varael's answer."Wait,WHAT!?"She shouted,looking at him with her eyes wide open."So my theory was true...he did worked with Death!Why did he reffered himself as AN angel of death?Are there more?"She thought

The angles aim seemed to widen and once again kruka asked but this time towards Rei "bound, Fallen, Risen" he said.

 

The angels seemed against vareal's answer.

"OH COME ON!"Terry was now frustrated since they didn't trust anybody."GIVE THEM A CHANCE,FOR GOD'S SAKE!!"

"This is not the time to just trust! Some demons can just as easily pass through that barrier!" Growled kruka "they best answer us with good reasons for them being here. Especially the dark one" he explained as he looked at Variel when he said dark one.

Varael sighed as he pushed some of his silver hair back from his eyes.

"I am not a fallen angel, which means I can't be a risen either. As for bound, I am bound by my duty. A duty given to me by the one who commands us all." He explained, with little sign of irritation in his voice. "I gave you my reason for being here. I am here to help save humanity. That is the new duty I requested and was granted."

He lifted his hands to show he wasn't holding any weapons.

"And I will vouch for my friend here." He said, waving a hand at Rei. "He won't fit into your organizational chart, but is here to stop Lucius all the same."

He stopped and waited for Kruka's reply before remembering Terry's outburst. He gave her a self conscious smile.

"Pardon my not declaring my duties before, but most ghosts get...unease knowing there is an angel of death around. Believe me, I am not here for you. You are still on this earth for a reason."

She looked suprised.So he wasn't after her?Terry felt honesty in Varael's voice for both things he said.But if Tokyo is saved at once,would he go after her then?She was still scared.

 

But anyway,Terry sighed in relief as she returned with a smile too.She then thought about Alexei.Terry's cheeks blushed when she thought of him even though she didn't felt physical warmness or coldness."I hope he's alright"she thought worried

Rei nodded and he lifted his hands to show he was unarmed.

"Varael is right. I do not belong to anyone but myself. You three could consider me a risen since I help demons but I could be a fallen because I help humans, you are free to choose."

Rei crossed his arms and slowly looked at the three angels.

"I do not care about the struggle between Heaven or Hell, my only concern is to help those who want peace and most of them want to stop Lucius"

Kruka lowered his lance but still glared "dark one... Ive got my eye on you." He said before putting away his lance and looking at the cowing Ryan. "So whose the human?" He asked as Ryan was still on the ground with his head covered by his arms.

 

 

Anka put her bow away and flew towards the top of the tower where she sat down and opened the book she had on her side and began to write. But as she was writing she had her eyes on Rei.

 

Regal seemed to not care as the two new angels were not demonic in any way to him. So he went inside to lay down.

"As we will probably be in combat against Lucius's forces, I would not suggest you keeping your vision on me." Varael advised, concern written in his voice and face. "But that is your choice."

"That may be so but out of all of us your closest to me" he growled.

Varael looked puzzled.

"But we only just met?" He said in a bewildered tone. "Excuse me, but I haven't made any long term friends in a long time, so I am some what rusty on how it works."

"An angel of death is closer to an angel of darkness than any other type of angel so does that not make us similar in more ways than one?" Kruka explained "thats why i watch you. I know what powers are at your disposal."

"Oh." Varael said, considering what Kruka had said. "I see what you mean. Might work, I suppose."

"So i have reason to fear you so i cant trust what i have reason to fear. No words can change that." Kruka told him

Rei was completely aware of Anka's gaze but chose to ignore it."Well, this boy is a Psi Mechanic. Apparently you needed one to make something, or so Naoko's memories told me" Rei told Kruka while trying to avoid looking in Anka's direction.
