When the world is covered in darkness, Heros rise in all shapes and sizes. To save the world they must start small before going big. Especially when fight demons, ghosts, and other monsters of the dark. They are mages, warriors, gunners, experiments, mutations, and more. When they all fall under the same goal. They work together and become stronger than they are alone. Can you work to save they world? Or will you die trying?

 

Tokyo, Japan, 3023. it is the middle of july and day light never comes but time still runs on and is kept by the silvery white and firey red moons that encirlcles the world. it is midnight, a new day. it has become cold on one side but abnorally warm on the other. the entirety of japan is covered in neverending snow fall. ice demons, succubi, skeletal samurai, and phantasms roam the area of tokyo and around, they are the only known creatures in the area but many survivors have heard of others that are unseen to them.... but will the join together or never come out of hiding..... this new day. the time.... 00:01 military time. or in other terms 1:01 AM. the new day has begun, the day the release from hell begins... the day the fire that melts the neverending snow is lit. The count down to hell begins now...
 

Naoko was eating some of the fish. "This is good...I wish I hadn't seen where it came from..." she nodded to herself.

 

She saw how Terry went into the crack. "I hope Terry doesn't find any troubles there" then looked at Daniel and back to the crack. 

 

There was 10 minutes of akward silence.

"A Monster from the depths, uh?" she sighed. "I don't want any huge monster coming from that..." then, she saw Terry coming out in a hurry, and heard the water splash. "You've got to be kidding me!" she shouted. Naoko couldn't believe her, or rather, their luck. She took out her daggers from under her skirt and waited for the unexpected.

Kruka peirced the neck of the beast with his lance and it fell to the ice. It had a long neck, a sea monster like head. Arms legs and a tail. Almost like a lizard. Kruka stepped back and noticed his grave mistake "everyone stand back. Weve got ourselves a hydra." He said as 2 new heads grew out of the beasts head.

Alexei gasped as two more heads appeared above the water. "Not good," he muttered backing up slightly and immediately letting an arrow fly towards one of the heads. Though he was quite sure that he, along with everyone else, could handle the water monster.

"Go for the body, not the heads." Daniel yelled as he charged at the Hydra.

He expelled breath and a thin line of astral fire shot out above his head, scorching the beast.

It hissed as it was hit by the flames and the arrow. The its mouths opened and a stream of green liquid sprayed out if it and hit the ground infront of alexei and Daniel and melted the ground like warm butter. Then both heads turned to one another and surprising ly bit into one anothers necks and both were torn off at once. Causing it to now have 4 heads grow back. These heads as attacked themselves. The whole time this happened Kruka was counting. "8, 16, 32, 64, 128"

 

It stopped and all 256 heads looked at the group. Each head hissing and flickig their tougngs of their own accord. Manyheads sunk below the ice so the beast stood on atop the ice facing our heroes. Many types of acid dripped from its mouth. It seemed to conceal many other abilities.

 

 

(Btw i just read through the previous posts and im not saying religious are wrong im only doing that to provide some sort of story cause im mixing allt of religeons together.)

Daniel gave an impressed nod.

"Self decapitation." He said, admiration in his voice. "This guy could teach a thing or two to the hydras back home."

The dragon's head appeared around him again and a blast of fire hit the hydra.

"Luckily, that means it is closer to it's limit of heads before the confusion of all the thoughts and sensory input slow it down." he continued as the flames and dragon dissipated.

A comical look of alarm crossed Daniel's face as he dove out of the way of two heads that snapped their jaws together where Daniel had been standing.

"Unfortunately, that limit could still be a ways away and it still has lots of heads." Daniel said as he stood back up.

"Holy shit ,what have I done!?"She looked a the monster in front of her."What the hell was I thinking?!"Terry got worried trying to distract the monster.She was aware of her mistakes.She knew that the group would be mad at her,she knew that she shouldn't have made that signal at all,she knew that now everyone was at risk because of her stupid mistake."Focus,Terry,focus...This is a hydra.A greek mithlogical monster with ability to miltiply its heads."She tried to recall of what she read from the books at school.Then she remembered."It think I know how we could kill this bastard.Once if it decapitate itself again we need to burn the the chopped head's neck.It will prevent the growing back 2 heads.I remember the story was like that."She said this to Daniel and Kruka.Still she was still concerned.

The hydra screeched before opening all of its mouths and a small spark could be seen then the green liquid came out of its mouth but hit the sparks and caught fire. As it flew towards the group

Naoko couldn't believe what her eyes were seeing. "Are you serious? An HYDRA!?" she yelled while dodging one of the heads who tried to bite her. " We seriously have the worst luck when dealing with these things" she said while cutting the head.

 

"Darn it...what was supposed to be this thing's weakness...a monster that sprouts 2 heads when it is beheaded..." then, she saw it, the hydra was decapitating itself. "This can't be happening" she counted the heads that were coming out. ""8, 16, 32, 64, 128....this can't be good..."

 

There were 256 heads in total, that many, self aware of themeselves...surely that could pose a problen with just one body. 

Naoko then heard Terry. "So cut its head...and cauterize the neck, right?" then, in the corner of her eye, she noticed how the Hydra was throwing fire at them. "Just how many tricks does this thing have!?" she said while dodging the attack.

Kruka dodged the flames and kept his distance "id say this hydra is another one of Lucius's pets. I think this is his pet lizard. So this creature should know alot of new tricks than it did in the year of hercules" he said. "Im nit surprised tho since regal made such a scene." He told them as he aimed his bow at one head and the tip engulfed itself in a black blaze "Midnight Strike!" He yelled before letting it go. The arrow hit one of the heads dead center in the middle of the eyes but it acted as if nothing happened.

Naoko was looking at the head that was shot by Kruka. "Wow...not even flinch?" she then dodge the flames again. 

 

"We must do what Terry suggested. Once we cut one of the head, we have to cauterize the neck to stop it from growing 2 more." she was looking at the Hydra. "It's not going to be an easy task, that's for sure."

"I dont think that will work. I may hate being hit with fire but have you seen its hide? Daniel's fire hasnt left a sing scorch mark." He told them." We must peirce the body. That is if we can find it"

 

 

The hydra began to step forward. As if it only one of the heads was connected to the movement system. It kept progressing but the ice below it had been melted and dissolved by the hydra's attacks and it broke causeing the beast to fall in.

Daniel wrapped his arms around himself, resulting in a patch of transparent scales appearing between him and the hydra. What ever acids the hydra was spitting simply slid off the scales, leaving no damage behind.

"Hey, Terry!" he called over, his voice see,img to have an odd echo to it. "Think you can get us eyes on the main body? It shouldn't have an attacks that can harm a ghost."

"Wait,eyes on the main body what does that mean?You're asking me to make the monster blind?"Terry asked Daniel's odd echo as she got so close to the monster's eyes.My god weren't they creepy.But not as creepy as Terry's new idea."Daniel,I know that this might sound scary but do you think that we can kill the monster by shutting down its heart?"

"Terry, you're not going to do what I'm thinking you're going to do, right!?" Naoko yelled at Terry. "You can't go inside that thing to stop its heart. Remember what happened the last time you went inside a monster!?" she sounded desperate.

 

It was true that maybe the monster didn't had any attack that could "physicaly" harm Terry but what about emotionally? The last time she was in a state of shock for a few minutes.

Daniel sighed.

"'Eyes on' means go look at." he explained. "If you can tell us where the main body is, we can hammer it. The heart would be a prime target."

He glanced at Naoko and nodded.

"Naoko has a point, Terry. Going inside it might not be a good idea."

Alexei's blue eyes widened as the Hydra's heads multiplied rapidly, shocked that it could do such a thing. Now it looked as though they had close to no chance against it. What was one supposed to do against a beast with 256 heads?

 

He rolled to dodge the monsters attacks and then got back to his feet, his bow clinched tightly in his hands, though he knew better then to shoot an arrow at it after seeing the way it multiplied. "No Miss Terry, I don't believe it's a good idea to go inside the Hydra's body. But Daniel's right, we need to locate this monstrosity's body."

It went quiet. The hydra didnt surface yet

 

 

Kruka kept his guard up. "Im not sure how it moves or how it even functions but my guess is a hive mind so with luck another option could be the main brain." He told them

Naoko was waiting for the hydra to surface. "I hope it drowns down there" she thought.

 

"The main brain?" she asked Kruka. "Well, we just have to find the main brain on one of those 256 heads that that thing have" 

"No, it will keep it safer than that." Daniel said. "It may be more animal than anything, but it's not stupid. If it is in a head, it'll be one we don't see or can't get at."

"Allright I get it now!No going inside!Seach for weak spot!The main brain!"Terry thought as she dived after the monster.While the others had to wait,Terry tried her best and examined every inch of its body.Well this search wasn't easy thougth especually when around 265 heads try to bite you.Even the slime coming from their mounts was a problem.It could have erase her in any minute.But the search wasn't a waste of time.When Terry got to the area of the monster's chest one of the heads was ready to get her.In a split second,she moved away from there resulting the monster biting its own chest.The monster released a horrible noise of pain as the skin floated away.The acid from its jaws had eaten all the chest muscles and bones(sorry for the discusting description)revealing what it would be the master mind-A huge red lizard eye.Terry was ready to vomit,even that wasn't possible for her and now she knew that if she had gone in the body earlier,it would have been another horrible mistake.Now as the weak spot discovered and the monster back on surface,it was time for our heros to finish it off

After Terry dived after the hydra, the group had to wait.

 

"I hope Terry is alright...I know she is a ghost an all, but...I'm still worried" Naoko sounded a little sad. "I hate waiting while she does all the work. I wish I could go down there and help...sadly, I think I'll be a nuisance." she was getting frustrated.

 

Then, after a moment of waiting, Naoko heard the water splash and saw the hydra on the surface again, but something was different, a huge, red lizard-like eye was on the monster's chest, perhaps that was its weak spot, Terry made it.

 

"Okay guys, our enemy has its weak spot revealed! We need to distract the heads so we can attack the weak spot!" Naoko yelled then began to run towards the hydra, dodging the bites of the heads that tried to stop her. "You will go down you damn oversized lizard! BreakBeat!" 

 

For her companions, the multiple time-warping went unnoticed. "Alright, one more time!" she ran towards the hydra again, this time, multiple ghost-like clones went in all directions, confusing many of the heads in their way. "Daniel, Alexei, Kruka! Shoot down this stupid over-sized lizard! she yelled at the boys.

The hydra hissed and layer down hiding the eye with all of its heads.

 

 

"Daniel....light the hyrdra's mouths up with fire" said Kruka. "The Vernon in their mouths are flammable. So that will keep them off me" he said before pulling out the lance and charging the monster.

"Yo." Daniel acknowledged.

Using quick, controlled bursts of flame, he targeted the hydra's heads, making sure to light up each one.

Alexei nodded, acknowledging what Naoko had said. He readied his bow, taking aim for the creatures weak spot. "These monsters never seem to learn do they?" he asked no one in particular, letting his arrow fly towards the monster.
