We know that its technically the same thing-but there are big differences between Xehanort and Terranort. and based on what happened on kh2, i'm beginning to think that he's more of Terranort

 

Xemnas has the memories of when he was an apprentice of ansem the wise, yet he also seems to be familiar with aqua probably because terra's memories come from  part of terranort. but one thing contradicts taht he was terranort's nobody.

 

think back to when the original master xehanort put his keyblade in his heart to possess terra. His heart and mind took control of terra's body and heart. But since only his heart and mind went into terra, then what happened to Xehanort's original body? that's the big question that gets me thinking: is xemnas terranort's nobody or the original xehanort's.

It's technically Xehanort's. Terra was just the extension to make the nobody and heartless.

It was during Terranorts time when Xemnas and Ansem were made. 

As for whether Terranort is still around, we won't know until kh3.

He came from Terranort. If he was made from Xehanort when he released his heart to possess Terra, as I believe you're asking he would look more like Xehanort than Terrranort. It can be assumed that it is the heart that gives the Nobody it's form, which is why Namine is female even though the body used to crate her belonged to Sora, a male.

As for what happened to the original Xehanort's body, since the heart entered a new vessel rather than becoming a Heartless, it can be assumed that a Nobody was not created and the body simply vanished to wherever it is Nobodies go if they've been destroyed but their heartless have not. This could also be true for Eraqus.

However, this is all merely conjecture based on circumstantial evidence that could easily be disproven by later entries to the series. If your looking for an irrefutable, concrete, canonical answer, non exists

I'd always thought Xemnas had a bit of Terranort in him, whether he was technically Xehanort's Heartless or not.  The reason being the Xemnas spoke to Aqua's armor and even considered it a friend, I believe.  If he was fully Master Xehanort, I doubt he would've done this. Also, if you look at his physique, he great resembles Terranort, or at least I thought so.  So yes, I think he's technically a Nobody to Xehanort, but I agree with your theory that Terranot had a lot to do with it.

 

As for whether Terranort exists now...  That's a question I've been asking myself a lot lately.  My initial thought was "no," because Master Xehanort is in full power now.  I also thought it was possible that Terra could've returned, though I suppose we won't this till later.

nono. you got this whole nobody thing wrong. despite the ironic name, nobodies come from the shell that's shed when a person loses his or her heart. but in order to make one, one must have darkness in their heart to create a nobody. as well as a heartless. when kairi lost hers, she didnt have any darkness in her heart since she's one of the princesses of heart. when she lost her heart, a part of her body was shed but since she didnt have darkness inside her, she didnt disappear like normal people do. when sora gave her her heart back, sora's darkness mixed with kairi's shell and that created namine. in normal people the heart would be the original darkness, leave a trace of it in the body that would become the nobody and the heart would become a being in itself called heartless. nomura chose pretty ironic and confusing names for them huh?

well i guess that's true. the reason namine looks like the way she does is more a mixture of kairi and ventus. blonde hair from ventus, long hair and gender from kairi. why i say kairi and ventus and not kairi and sora...its more since namine's a blonde. meh i dunno why.

 

i'm so sorry you didnt see the fusion Dx its because the pic was kinda long and didnt fit in the margins. the fusion is- NATE! from black2 doesnt it make sense? the clothes from lucas/ruby, and the color from hilbert/black.

I believe him more to be Terranort's nobody. But there could be some possibility the could be Xehanort's.

He's Terranort's Nobody, but he has "Xehanort's consciousness", since the latter is in control of Terra's Nobody.

Actually, you do have to have a heartless to have a nobody. When the person that becomes a heartless has special qualities, a nobody(humanoid) is created. Kairi used her princess of heart powers to create a shell for Sora's heartless, hence being a walking heartless in human form like Ansem SoD.
