Hey everyone, I’ve noticed recently that Square Enix hasn't released any new games within the past month. Usually Square releases something on the app store periodically, but lately there hasn't been anything! It seems like things have come to a standstill in Japan as well. I know they have their hands tied with Remakes and Final Fantasy, but this isn't going to help the company make any more money if they keep floating around. I think they are working on too many titles at once. If they were only working on Final Fantasy Lightning Returns for example, and nothing else, then they could get the game out by this summer, not to mention Final Fantasy X/X-2 and Kingdom Hearts 1.5 in other territories! What do you all think of this standstill for the company?

Tomb Raider is the most popular recent release. I heard bravery default is coming to UK or US sometime this year or next year.

 

And they are currently trying to fix their financial problems since they have the new president of SE in charge.

 

One of the members mentioned the Versus 13 announcement is coming this year, I don't know when, but I read that somewhere.

 

speaking of versus 13, the city Noctis lives at is going to be modeled after Shibuya, I went crazy after reading this.

Theres nothing to worry about.

Square Enix has been going through a lot of changes lately and are busy preparing for E3 2013.

I say just let it be for now, they will be fine.

It's about time they do something for FFVS13! Can't wait for the new info.

Lol Imagine if the news for Vs. XIII is Nomura saying:

 

"Be Patient for Vs. XIII, just a little longer".

 

So many people would rage about that, that its not even funny. Seriously, that would be the worst possible thing that Nomura could say at the next Vs. XIII reveal.
