Yveltal may have been categorized for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS exclusive titles, “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y.” According to a report by the NeoGAF forum
on April 23, the legendary creature is a combination of the dark and
flying types. You can check out an image of the monster, as well as some
screens from the two aforementioned portable role-playing games, in the slideshow at the top of this article.

Yveltal is one of the six new creatures announced so far for “Pokemon
X” and “Pokemon Y.” The legendary monster looks like a gigantic bird
with claw-like feature on its tail and wings.

Dont KNow if this is true or not...But Dark/Flying is pretty Badass

Dark/Flying?

Honchcrow?

Maybe...

They do look a weeny bit similar >.>

Dark's my favourite type but Darkrai isn't exactly a great Dark legend design, so I'm hoping Yveltal is at least primary or secondary Dark type.

Now if only they make Xerneas a Steel/Light type.

Personally I think that if they do introduce a Light type it should have the same relationship with Dark that Normal has with Ghost, cancel each other out. It would fit the Japanese ideology of Good and Evil being required to balance each other out as opposed to the American notion of Light conquering Darkness.

But if they decide to go ahead and make a Light type that's strong against Dark than make Xerneas Light/Grass so they're balanced.

This is going to conflict with my other bird pokemon.

Wut... Excuse me while I go into a state of shock. lolAnyways I'm hoping it's flying/dark or just flying. I don't want them to make it something stupid like fire/flying. (Ho-oh has great stats+moves+regenerator to compensate a lot for Stealth Rocks)

I just think it could've had a better design than a black sheet with some red and white around it. xD I love the colours but the design just isn't my favourite. It's too simple. xD
