April 27, 201312 yr We have actual Toonami back. Hopefully in a few years, it'll be just as badass as this montage.
April 27, 201312 yr Spiderman/X-Men/Batman+Toonami= Bull. Shit. Does whover made this even realize that eh ONLY reason Toonami even came back in the first place was so that people would stop bitching at Adult Swim to bring back their Saturday anime block? Besides, several of these are from movies. And, as much as I'd like a re-airing of the old Digimon shows, Toonami is not the place for Shota (aimed at pre-adolescent boys) anime. Bad fake. P.S. A lot of these look good, even though I can watch some of them (Like Yu-Yu Hakusho) on FUNimation. It's only the Movies, western cartoons and Shota anime I have a problem with being on Toonami. Everything else can stay. Edited April 27, 201312 yr by Sora_Kuno

April 27, 201312 yr But I don't waht the "Actual" Toonami, I want Neotoonami! Okay. So a fansite goes down, the real thing has been on it's new run for awhile with great shows INCLUDING some of the ones shown in that clip plus more coming in the future, and you want to complain. Seems legit.

"Toonami" On AS is on one night a week and most of the line up has absolutely NO viewer influence, a chat to talk to others on during the show for discussion of the anime or on non stream days or times just an overall chat for users.

Dude. Pick up your phone and use Twitter. Same damn difference. Hell, they put hashtags on the beginning of the titles of the shows they put on in the opening cards.

April 27, 201312 yr You don't get it. No, I suppose I don't. What I DO get is that you're not appreciating Toonami at its core.

Everything else can stay. You know, Western animation was used back in the early runs of Toonami. Don't you remember Johnny Quest and the Justice Leauge? I'm pretty sure Batman Beyond was there, too, but I thinking of something else. Either way, Toonami was orginally a block that brought the best of the East AND the West together. I'm just Saiyan, I don't think its a bad thing to want cartoons on Toonami bumping shoulders with the anime. There's certainly new cartoons that could have a place on the block. Young Justice, for example... Edited April 27, 201312 yr by Firaga96

April 27, 201312 yr Right, right. Well, I assure you, cartoons and anime lived in harmony, my son. But now The Hub already has all the old school 90's DC cartoons on their HUBooom Nights. And between Disney and Nickelodeon all the old Marvel shows are being used. Personally I like the idea off having a Saturday morning cartoon block and a Saturday night anime block on the same channel. P.S. How is it that CN is 20 years old, yet still not allowed to say up past 9? Edited April 27, 201312 yr by Sora_Kuno

Personally I like the idea off having a Saturday morning cartoon block and a Saturday night anime block. Oh yeah, that's actually pretty smart. After all, anime is a bit more adult driven than even the actiony-ist of Western cartoons, so it works.
April 27, 201312 yr You don't get it. The support from fans on Twitter, YouTube, FaceBook, etc. was a big reason why Toonami is back.
April 29, 201312 yr I'm glad Toonami's back, but I wished I was able to watch it when I was 10. But I didnt have cable at that time. And if there is more supporters, heck, we could get Toonami back to it's glorified 9pm-12pm daily timeslot. (ugh, nostalgia is doing the talking)
It seems like NT is calling it quits.
