During the course of  Days, multiple members of Org. 13 wrote journal entries mentioning Xion. Obviously, once Roxas was apprehended and moved to Data Twilight Town he no longer had access to his journals, which one could assume were left in The Castle That Never Was. Which gives the organization even more proof of Xion’s existence. While Obviously none of them can actually remember her, there’s enough evidence in their possession to make the assumption that they’re aware of her.

 

I guess it could also be argued that the journal entries were all wiped similar to Jiminy's journal in Chain of Memories, but it seems less likely seeing as Namine was aware of the journal due to it's presence in Castle Oblivion and would have no way of knowing of the Organization journals.

 

Any thoughts?

I imagine she would have been erased from the journals. It's just sort of the whole "nomura logic" thing. 

I've always figured that even if no one consciously remembers her, her presence is still there to an extent, which DDD confirmed.  There's also how even if no one remembers, it probably wouldn't eliminate all traces of her existence, such as the records of her on their computer (and her room).  Even if they knew of these traces, they wouldn't bother with it because they didn't need Xion in the picture anymore.  They have Sora and/or Roxas for that.

Everyone's memories of hers are gone so they don't remember. I imagine if they looked at the entries they wouldn't know who it was. Not sure about the journal entries though being erased or not though.

Yeah also traces of her still seem to be in Roxas and Axel's memories as in DDD Roxas reminds Axel in the dream of his promise to 'always be there to bring us (being Xion and Roxas) back' and Axel says that he remembers it even though he was talking only to Xion when he made that promise. Then of course there's the scene where Sora sees Xion and sheds a tear which is obviously Roxas crying through him. I don't know if any other Organization members have similar traces of memory though. You would think Xemnas would have mentioned her if he did when he talks about Roxas being a 'worthy candidate' in DDD, after all he decided that Xion was even more 'worthy' than Roxas in Days. Perhaps the other Organization members' memories of Xion have been merged with their memories of Roxas?

I'm not sure your assumption is right. seeing as YMX has the ability to travel through time, it may be possible for some form of Xion to be one of the other 12 vessles. (just because she's forgotten doesn't mean she isn't a set point in time). Plus with Xehanort being the knowledge seeking type, it would make sense for Xemnas to at least be curious to a degree. Especially with him being part Terra, maybe he'd want to follow the information for similar reasons to the whole thing with aqua's armor.

Noone else would have remembered her, so the mention would have been pointless, and even if he had knowledge of her existence, he wouldn't have actually had memory of her worth unless he decided to seek further understanding of the knowledge through that whole time travel mess I just mentioned.

My guess is that when Xion vanished from people's memories, every proof of her existence vanished as well.  This could include possessions, photos, documentations, and, yes, even journal entries.  Everything works rather mystically in Kingdom Hearts and, even though it doesn't quite make sense, I seriously doubt any Organization member truly remembers Xion.

I think Axel and Roxas remember her deep down. They were best friends, all 3 of them.....so its very possable.

Well, Roxas already merged with Sora, apperently, in higher games. But I don't think Axel/Lea has forgotten her deep down and Roxas still exsist's in Sora, at least. Though its a stretch to think Sora would ever be able to tap on such a memory, even unconciencely. But who knows.

But then why didn't Lea question Roxas' use of the word 'us'? If he didn't have even the slightest trace of memory concerning Xion he would have expected Roxas to say 'That you'd always be there to bring me back'. Even if Lea can't remember Xion herself, maybe he has a subconscious feeling that Roxas wasn't the only person he made that promise to.

i dunno really. it's mostly nomura logic that keeps the characters from questioning the gaps in their memory. but perhaps Lea was just being reminiscent about the whole thing and didnt notice, or maybe he thought Roxas thought that he meant himself and Roxas when he  said 'us'.
