Home's annoying me and I can't focus on upcoming exams

Posted

The title says it all, there's so much pressure on me at the minute to get A's and A*'s which I've consistently been getting for my GCSE exams, but recently things have turned really bad for me and my dad's noticed how bitter I am towards my mum for it (they split years ago, separate partners now just to clarify), and I can't focus on revising and my recent mocks have seen me drop to B's and my main exams are next month, if I fail then I won't be in a competitive position to get into 6th Form (years 12&13/A level years etc.) I need to refocus and I don't know how as I'm so angry, I'm constantly mentally drained and I just wander away from wanting to revise to wanting to kill the swine who's screwed everything up for me.

If anyone can give me tips on how to get my eye back on the ball then I will be truly grateful.

thanks. :(

Well...you could try and do things that relax you.

heres my tips for relaxing me out,

1. listening to music

2. reading some books

3. taking a nap

4. and playing like a easy game for a bit

but i mostly do 1-3

u should take a break from all the work

ugh, work -_-' Ya know, i've never studied for a test in school. Sure I got like D's and C's in class but hey, its passing right? I follow by memory. plus i'm a procrastinator :P But anyways just skim through everything every once in a while, if you study 30 days before the test and don't study again, you'd forget, but if you study directly at the last minute your memory is fresh and ready to drill some pencils in. As for the seperated parents, I give my empathy T_T
