Do you want 2D sidescrollers more often?

Posted

Sidescrolling used to be a main thing in the gaming market. Now that we have engines to support huge 3D worlds 2D has died down other than some Nintendo games. Would you like to see these more often than we currently do? Or do you prefer 2D sidescrollers something that comes every so often and in Nintendo's case, is just a re-used ip?

I would like to see more of them personally. I really enjoyed Rayman Origins and have been playing the Challenge App for Legends on the Wii U a lot recently.

2D Mario games have gone a bit eh recently but they still are fun in most cases.

There are some good indie games out there that are good sidescrollers too so I don't mind seeing more of the genre.

I'd love to see more.
