A rumour has begun circulating the internet that suggests that 

 and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World are due to be remastered in HD and will be coming to the PlayStation 3. Tales of Symphonia originally launched on the Gamecube back in 2003 and was met by glowing reviews and healthy sales figures. Namco Bandai recently confessed that Tales of Symphonia was the most popular Tales game to be released in the West. The HD remastered version of the JRPG is thought to be one of the games due to be revealed at this year’s Tales Festival.

A good move from Namco to make me want to buy a PS3.

That+Tales of the Abyss and maybe the ps3 version of tales of vesperia and I would buy it.

I'm convinced that the Tales guys just hate Nintendo, to be honest.

 

That would be cool. Symphonia would really benefit from an update, as the visuals and audio haven't really aged well. Including DotNW/KoR with it is pretty cool as well, though I would rather they remake that one completely rather than simply remaster.

I don't think they hate Nintendo,I think its just that they are supporting Sony for some reason,if Namco wanted a Tales game on Wii U,I'm pretty sure it could happen.

 

About Nintendo,I don't know if its true,but I saw some comments suggesting that Nintendo hold the rights on the translation of the game,so if the rumour is true and this game do come out,it might not be translate in english at all and that's the reason why we never got the PS2 version of the game.

 

I really doubt it to be honest,they are aware that this is their most succesful game in the West so I'm sure they'll found a way around it and translate the game anyway,but who knows.
