so i have a lot of make up work and my parent are screaming at me to go to the tutor the problem is im busy skyping my friend so we can study for our HSA's (high school assessment's) which in fact even if i did all the make up work in the world and failed my HSA i wouldn't be able to graduate and these are 3 hours test's were talking about so im under a lot of stress and the worse part is my parents are saying im "Irresponsible" for not doing the make-up work even though i tell them the whole HSA no graduate part so what the hell do i do?

Is the make-up work something that is really important? If it's not that important but your parents are still calling you irresponsible you could

A. Find a way to do both. It would be a lot of work but it would stop that.

B. Don't worry about it and graduate.

If it's really important make-up work though I'd say it's best to do it.

You do your HSA work then.  Whichever ones deadline is sooner you should work on (least I would, then you cram and rush for the next one til they're over), but your parents probably think you are just messing around chatting on Skype rather than doing any work.

Well, basically your parents are being ignorant. So long as you have a passing grade in that class, the make-up work can wait so that the test itself can be done and the time wasted making up the work will have made passing impossible anyway.. Curious: Is this test able to be taken multiple times?

 

EDIT: If it's only 10%, then yeah, it hardly matters.

Yeah graduation is definitely more important. If they won't stop after you already explained that it might be best to let it go or ignore them calling you that.

Make-up work can still make a difference, DEPENDING on what your grades already are. If you're passing the class(es) then I wouldn't worry about the makeup. Focus on the assessments so you can graduate. Best of luck!

If one letter grade won't hurt you, then try to study and get some make-up work done if you can.
