Eight o' clock already. I'm supposed to go to some old town with my friends today. Some high school friends of mine. I was only eleven though, the youngest there, of course. I had barely skipped enough grades to become a freshman where I met everyone else. This was kind of like a dare...to stay a night...at some supposedly haunted town. I knew it wasn't true, though. But, of course...I was still scared. Frightened. I didn't really want to go...but I knew everyone would laugh and tease me again if I didn't go. There was that what if it really IS real factor that must've haunted everyone, more or less.
"Joshua, aren't you going to go with your friends? I'll take you over there." My mom called behind the hallways. "Yeah...but I have to be there by nine. We have an hour." I responded, with a raspy voice as an ominous chill stretched my spine. "It'll be like 8:30 by the time we get there, so let's just go now." She said, perfectly calm, but obviously worried for me at the same time. There were practical adults going to be there, at least. "...Okay." I mumbled. I walked to the car already.


Hour 0
 

Rin looked over at the thing and smiled a soft smile, however she was really screaming on the inside.

"I-I'm sorry...would you like us to stay here?" she asked a bit nervous.

She was being stupid, thinking that being semi-nice to it then trying to kill it later would make it not kill the four now.

"We won't leave if you won't hurt us."

 

(IDIOT RIN.)

Ezekiel ran towards the direction Rin, Joshua and Sora had run to, and began to slow down when he arrived at the entrance and realized it was locked.

He paused when he saw the creature outside the window.

"What is that?!" He said to himself, a little startled by the sight. "We need to find a way out of the hotel, I don't think we should stay here much longer..."

Ezekiel ran towards the direction Rin, Joshua and Sora had ran to, and began to slow down when he saw them.

"Guys, I think Jack is...." He halted to a stop right behind them when he saw the creature outside.

"What is that?!" He said, a little startled by the sight. "We need to find a way out of the hotel, I don't think we shoudl stay here much longer..."

Sitting on the opposite side of the cracked window as Rin, the thing with no face sat there again. Staring its eyes into Rin's, past its own skin. The eyes were bulged and his smile was insane, but he was glad to sit there and stare at someone else. So his smile grew even wider when I came over to Rin. "R-Rin...really...?" I asked. I stumbled a bit closer to Rin...cautiously and nervously. The thing behind the window smiled even greater when I did so.

 

Thud, thud, thud, thud. Closer to Rin, Sora, Lily, and I. Coming...coming.

He banged on the wall. "Guys! Guys!" He shouted as loud as he could, hoping to be heard by the others locked outside. "I'm trying to get this open, but I don't have the kind of strength Jack did. I'm gonna keep trying!" He began to kick the door, trying to break it.

"However. If you....whoever you are hurt anyone of us, you will be killed." Rin said seriously.

She heard Ezekiel, however kept herself still. Rin grabbed onto Joshua's hand, her other hand in her pocket on her knife.

Rin feared her death, however, she also oddly believed something wretched wouldn't happen to her.

The worst thing would be death. 

Sora hid behind Rin, clutching Rin's waist to free her arm. She hid her face in Rin's back, still sobbing.

"Rin...?" She asked fearfully, hugging Rin a tad bit harder.

 

Rin could feel Sora shaking badly.

Rin looked down at Sora for a split second before looking back at the figure.

"These are my friends. Lily, Sora, and Joshua. I am Rin." she said, looking at the creature. 

It scared her...however she kept her eyes on the creature. 

(Gone for some of the day, and the crazy stuff really starts getting to the creepy point..though it kinda already was..)

 

Luke had followed them all, though his shuddering fear often kept him behind--but he trudged on. Jack was gone..and Luke got the feeling that staying behind my have him end up the same way Jack did.

Of course, the 'creature', made Luke wish he had run off long ago. What the hell is that thing?! He thought, This...shouldn't...what is it?!

(Welp,I'm alone...)Faith sighed. "Even Luke,that dummy!" Faith had stayed behind.

She sighed and found a place to sit along the wall and sat. "This is just a prank." She reminded herself and took her I-pod out to listen to music.

Thud...thud...truuuudge. That's the same sound echoing in the hotel for everyone there...except Faith. For her, it was much...much louder...and closer. Only a few feet away from her was the creature in this hotel. A young girl. Likely about six years old. Pale as a ghost and semi-long hair, she crawled miserably. Without the lower half of her body. What could she possibly to do Faith? She lied there as miserable as ever. Groaning and bleeding from her lower torso.

The thing behind the window sat happily with us there. Not moving a muscle. Not even flinching. He didn't respond to Rin, aside from his evergrowing smile. I sat there beside Rin and Sora, with Lily a few feet away, wondering where to go. "Rin...Sora...." I mumbled. "I hear footsteps coming."

(Thanks....) Faith looked up to see a girl. "Corpse Party? huuuh...(that's a sigh) Wait,I think your the one from the news,little girl goes missing. Jack's a killer!" She shook her head getting up.

"Jack is..nuts!" She muttered. 

(Jack the Ripper, blargh~)

 

The girl looked up at Faith horrifically. "Do you want to be...friends? Because...friends...friends...share things...." the girl said. She had that raspy voice, but other than that, was just a regular girl in some terms. She crawled only slightly closer to Faith, leaving a minor trail of blood. "We can share things...and play Tag."

"Rin, I really don't think we should stay here," Lily said, her voice shaking slightly. "Whatever that thing is it can't be nice."

 

Lily glanced around uneasily, she too, heard the strange footsteps growing ever closer. "Let's just go," Lily said, her brown eyes scanning the surrounding buildings. "What about that way?" Lily asked, pointing down the street. "Because I'm not sure about you guys, but I don't want to see whoever or whatever those footsteps belong to."

 

Lily's expression grew worried as she glanced back at the hotel, she could only hope that the rest of their friends were alright. Hopefully they were safer inside.

Ezekiel fell to his knees as he slowly stopped banging on the doors.

"I can't get it open," He began. "I can't do anything to protect them... just like I couldn't do anything to protect my brother..." After he had finally calmed down, he got back up, and took a deep breath.

"I have to at least help the others." He continued. "I have to do what I can. I have to try." He turned back and ran back towards Faith and the others.

 

He ran beside faith, and paused, examining the girl that was near her.

"Faith, what is that?" He asked, half puzzled, half terrified.
