Koukon/Haruka:

"C'mon brother, hurry up! We're going to get our teams assigned today!" Haruka shouted towards her older brother, jumping around with excitement. As she said, today was their big day. She hadn't been happier in her whole life. Her brother, however, was taking his time to walk over to the ninja academy.

"I'm coming, I'm coming..." Koukon assured his younger sister. The day before had been a long, tiring day, and he didn't quite have his sister's energy.

"So, do you think we'll end up on the same team? That would be so cool if the two Yougan siblings could work together!" She exclaimed.

"Yeah, sure, I guess it's possible..." Koukon muttered. He had no clue how his sister managed to graduate in the same year he did, given how lazy she'd been when it came to the academy. He felt kind of embarrassed that the two graduated in the same year also, since he was a year older. Was he behind, or was she ahead? Either way, it made him feel pathetic. The two continued on their way to the academy, and eventually made it to the classroom where they'd be given their assignments.

"Wow, it's packed in here..." Koukon was surprised to see so many people in the classroom at once. The students, their new teachers, even the Hoakge, Naruto, and his wife, Hinata, were there to congratulate the newly graduated students. Their teacher, Sakura, walked up to the front of the classroom and cleared her throat.

"Welcome everyone! Welcome to this year's graduation ceremony!" She greeted the group. No reply, the students were too busy talking to each other. Sakura was clearly annoyed by this. "Hey, everyone, shut up and look up here! Aren't you at all excited to graduate!?" She shouted. The Hokage looked a little scared. Koukon remembered that Naruto and Sakura were once on a team together, he wondered if he had to deal with her short temper at all back then. Sakura straightened up when the room went silent. "Once again, welcome to this year's graduation ceremony! Today, we'll be announcing the new teams, so please, listen for your name!" She announced to the crowd, her mood completely changing from the way it was before.

Kage:

The leader of the new Akatsuki looked down at the rest of his group, marveling at this collection of S rank criminals he'd amassed. It won't be too long before I've reached my ultimate goal... He smiled to himself. Not that anyone else could notice, his face was always hidden. He'd just finished a long meeting, and was pleased to be able to know he had followers. "You are all dismissed." He announced to the group. He then approached Rinne Tensei. "Rinne Tensei. I'm entrusting you with a very important mission..." He told Rinne. Rinne had always been one of his favorite members, due to his power. If there was anyone in the organization he'd entrust with such a mission, it was him.

  • Wow. Another RP bites the dust, that sucks.

Zalor kept playing the song for a while, finding it peaceful.

"Well that's basically all I draw," Ryu told Haruka as he smiled at her. He then turned to Koukon. "It's fine! Naruto used to do that too when Tsunade was Hokage right? I think it's okay," Ryu said.

They couldn't know that he was an Alchemist-based Ninja. He would definitely be killed for it. His cover couldn't be blown now.

(Is this RP dead?)

(Oh, no. Sorry, I've been busy with other things, and I'm waiting on Joel to post)

"I guess you have a point..." Koukon muttered. "You should still be more careful, though. You never know if you'll get him too mad..." He said.

(It's alright.. Joel replied on the sign ups.. Does he know that there's an RP already?)

Ryu shrugged his shoulders. "That doesn't really matter to me," Ryu laughed. They were near the gate now, and their "Jounin" was nowhere in sight.

"So, you guys must be the noobies!"

The genin team stopped in their tracks to see a boy dressed in red sitting in a nearby tree. He had some kind of look in his eye that harbored an strange type of intensity as he grinned wide and eyed each member of the genin team.

Then, the boy leapt down from the tree, doing a flip and landing hard on his feet near the genin.

"Hi. Name's Mottoyoi. Kinatama Mottoyoi." He moved his muscled right arm and put his right thumb on his chest. "But you can just refer to me as the future Hokage! ... Oh yeah, and I'm also the fifth member of your team for this mission. Figured Cobias could use a hand in showing you kids the ropes." He smiled as if the three genin would feel grateful for his words, though in reality, that didn't seem like the case.

Koukon/Haruka

Koukon looked over at Kinatama. "Fifth member? The Sixth never told us anything about a fifth member... Whatever, it doesn't matter." Koukon said to the newly arrived chunin.

"Don't say that, Koukon! The more the merrier, right?" Haruka lectured her brother, then turned to Kinatama. "My name's Haruka Yougan, and this is my older brother, Koukon Yougan!" She introduced herself and her brother to him. "This is our third teammate, Ryu Kekkei!" She pointed to Ryu, and grinned at Kinatama. "So, what rank are you?" She asked him, wanting to know everyone else on the team better.

Koukon sighed at his sister's cheerfulness. They were going on a mission, not to a party. Shinobi aren't supposed to show emotion, but are supposed to follow orders in a serious manner. His sister never seemed to understand...

"I'm a Chunin," Kinatama said, jabbing a thumb to his headband. "Been one for a while now. You kids'll be lucky to have me on your side."

Kinatama could tell that that Haruka would be a girl he could get used to. Her brother, Koukon, seemed more like a stiff though, hearing him sigh. He couldn't help but respond to him in the way he always did to people like him:

"Hey, what's the matter, sunshine? You got a stick up your ass?"

Koukon/Haruka

Koukon glared at Kinatama. "Shut up. I'm only here to complete my mission. I don't have time for anything like this..." He told him.

Haruka stepped between the two, and tried to change the subject. "So, you're a chunin? You must have a lot of cool jutsu, then!" She exclaimed, excited to see what he could do. Koukon only sighed again. He wasn't liking this new teammate so far.

"As a matter of fact, I do," boasted Kinatama. "I'm from the Mottoyoi Clan. We specialize in strength techniques," Kinatama said as he flexed his arms, trying to show off to the young girl in front of him. "I normally use Earth Style jutsus that are done with the help of my enhanced strength. Oh yeah, and see this scroll?" Kintama pointed to his thigh. "I know the Summoning Jutsu too. And my summons are just as strong as I am, I guarantee that." Kinatama smiled, his teeth sparkling a little.

Ryu examined his "new team member". "Why hello, I'm Ryu Kekkei. A regular shinobi who knows no jutsu. It's a pleasure to meet you," Ryu said as he bowed ignoring the conflict between Koukon and Kinatama. "Well I guess our Jounin won't be able to make it now. Should we just go?" Ryu asked. It seems like all he's worth is strength. He wouldn't be a problem for me if I just keep calm, he thought to himself.

Haruka looked amazed by Kinatama's description of himself. "Wow, isn't Summoning Jutsu a really powerful move?" She asked him.

After Ryu spoke, Koukon sighed. "We should give him a little more time. We need a jonin if we want to survive, right?" He asked, trying to hide that he was actually a little scared.

(Yay! Firaga-sensei's in the rp! :D)

Zalor stopped playing her flute and looked around.

"I need to get closer to the sand villlage..." She muttered to herself and got up and started jumping.

Kinatama had finally made his final verdict on all his new teammates. Well, Haruka's alright. Funny too. That Koukon might need a bit of an attitude ajustment, though. I can't have jerks like him slowing me down, he thought. He then looked over at Ryu and couldn't help but feel a certain aura from the polite yet monotone looking boy. Hmm... there's something about this guy... kinda rubs me the wrong way. Well, in any case, I should keep a good eye on him.

Kinatama then silenced his thoughts as he clapped both of his hands together, causing his team in stiffen at the mighty sound it made. "Well, guys, that takes care of that. Now, to answer your question, Ryu: no. We're not going anywhere until our Jounin sensei arrives. If Lord Hokage had to wait for his sensei to show up, then so can we. After all, we shouldn't let a little tardiness bother us; I'm sure he'll be here in no time."

"Then how about we get some sparring out the way just so that you know what we can do for the mission?" Ryu suggested. "Kakashi once did this to the Hokage and the others right? Then how about you put us through a little test?" Ryu asked as he was getting anxious for some action.

"Then how about we get some sparring out the way just so that you know what we can do for the mission?" Ryu suggested. "Kakashi once did this to the Hokage and the others right? Then how about you put us through a little test?" Ryu asked as he was getting anxious for some action.

Zalor reached a path that lead straight to the sand village and stood there, waiting.

"Hmm." She hummed.

"Sparring, huh? Now that's more like it!" Kinatama replied, pounding both fists together. "After all, I still need to see what you kids are made of. Wouldn't want to send you out on this dangerous mission without seeing if you can hold your own in combat. And you're right; Lord Hokage did go through the same kind of training. And that means we have to give as much as he would in our shoes."Kinatama's eyes drifted to the right, onto the Training fields. "Follow me, kiddies; you're about to get the fight of your life." He said, leaping towards the fields and expecting his genin team to follow him at his heels...

Likewise, Ryu thought to himself as he smirked. He was finally going to scout out another ninja's weaknesses and strengths. He quickly followed Kinatama who walked ahead quickly and anxiously.

Kirai looked over the village outside his house and jumped to the ground, actually feeling kind of lonely. He had no team since both died from the last mission. Very sad. He was crying ALL night long. He smirked as he jumped down to the supermarket below, putting on his laid back facade. He entered the supermarket on the street level and bought fish for tonight's dinner and climbed back to his house with it in a bag in his teeth. He threw it inside his house on his couch and jumped to the street again, bored out of his mind. He needed a mission already.

Koukon sighed. "Fine, I'll go spar, I guess. At least we'll get something done..." He muttered to the others.

"Alright, sparring sounds fun!" Haruka shouted, excited to be able to test her skills.

Zalor waits patiently in the path to the Sand Village.

"Good. You seem all ripe for the challenge," Kinatama gratified, seeing all three of his teammates before him. They had all gathered in Training Ground Seven, the same field that Naruto, their Hokage, had trained with his team while he was still at Genin level.

"Now, listen up; this is going to be a very simple exercise. I want all of you to come at me with all you have. In battle, a shinobi has to give it their all in order to win, and I expect nothing but that from you guys. I won't hold back either..." he said, standing with fists closed and at his sides. He then slowly brought his hands up and began cracking his knuckles. "And if you even think about going easy... well..." His unique way of seeing things shown through with his last sentence.

"I'm gonna knock you out."

He readied himself, tensing every muscle in his body. Then, in a swift motion, he brought his closed fists up and smacked them into each other, performing his clan's own style of hand sign for his signature jutsu. The justu began immediately; the veins on his body, visible and hidden, started to glow as faint blue chakra strands surrounded his body, the genin watching as they saw Kinatama grow a feral sneer as the chakra coiled up around his arms and neck.

"Here it comes..." He said, excitement in his voice as that intensity in his eyes grew tenfold.

"Chakra Release: Level One!" He yelled, his arms, legs, and chest pumping up to at least 2 sizes bigger than they were before. He looked even more muscular than he was before. His grin kept in place even so, as the blue chakra swirled around him in great force, as if Kinatama was the eye of a small, faint hurricane.

Kinatama was ready for battle; he turned to the side, lifting his right leg up as he did. Then, with great force, he stamped his raised foot on the ground as he settled into a battle stance, left fist loaded at his side while the right one was still closed and raised towards the genin.

Kinatama smirked. "Go ahead. Make the first move."

This is going to be hard. Knowing that all I can use now is taijutsu, he'll beat me. However since he's buff like that, I should be faster. But my hits would be unaffective, Ryu thought to himself. He then looked at Koukon and Haruka. "I'll hold him off. Attack with your jutsu from afar," Ryu told them. With that, he disappeared by speed alone.

The battle had begun.

Ryu appeared behind Kinatama. "You're going to have a hard time fighting me," Ryu claimed as he took a Mokutensei-Style Taijutsu stance. That clan trains the body as much as the mind. Their fighting style rivals the Leaf's Gentle Fist, Frog Kumite, and Lee's speed in his 5th gate.

Koukon and Haruka nodded. "Right!" They said together, facing Kinatama. The two formed a few handseals, and raised their hands to their mouths. "Fire style: Fireball Jutsu!" The two shouted in unison, both blowing large fireballs at Kinatama. The two had always discussed trying to do a technique like this, and it seemed to be working well. The two then ran to opposite sides, trying to avoid being grouped up in one place. Two in one place would make them too large of a target for Kinatama.

(Oh yeah, Axel-sensei, Zalor= A mix of Tobi AND Itachi. My friend and I came to that conclusion)

Zalor still waited, not knowing how long it will take for the genins to get here.
