(GOSH WHY DIDN'T I NOTICE THIS SOONER. SORRY)

(Present)

Kamiko stopped for a second at a window to a building. There were many trinkets, and a verity of many things in this store. A small mirror caught her eye. It didn't catch her eye just because it was well designed, but she saw the crowd through the mirror...and a face she didn't want to see. That man from the future dimension was here. Her hands traced to the cross clip on her head, the thing she has used to time travel with. No, she wasn't going to go to the future or past. She was going to run. Eli came closer, and Kamiko looked at him, giving him a sharp glare. Kamiko just started running. She did trip over a couple of people. She dashed across the street, about getting ran over. Kamiko ran the other way on the other side of the road.

(Present)

Of course, as someone ran across the road, Eve was speeding.

And slamming on the horn, she jerked the wheel, nearling running a girl over and ending up getting thrown into an uncontrolled spin that ended with her Corvette coming to rest at the side of the road. Eve was panting hard, hands gripping the wheel.

"Idiot...idiot..." She kept muttering to herself, then leaning forward to rest her head against the wheel. She started to cry.

First this guy appears, and then she nearly killed someone.

What the hell was up with this night?

((*appears because why not*))

Eli was behind Kamiko, his quick reflexes enabling him to avoid the people she had tripped up. He skidded to a stop when he saw the car almost hit Kamiko. The vehicle didn't look like one Eli had ever seen. Didn't look that practical. The driver had her head against the wheel. Instinct and training told Eli to ignore the stranger and continue on his task. But he also felt in his gut that he should go over to help the driver. The reasoning side of his brain cast its vote that way too, citing that it might show the girl he was after that he wasn't trying to hurt her.

Eli jogged over to Eve's car and looked in at her.

"You all right?" He asked in a deep voice.

Eve looked up. She heard someone speak.

Pressing the button, the window rolled down.

"Y-yes." She said shakily. "I-I almost hit someone..." She ran her arms across her eyes. "I'm just....shaken up."

Eve took a few deep breaths. "I...I'm alright. Thank you."

(Present)

Kamiko laughed in victory of her losing Eli. She did feel a bit bad though for tripping people up. She kept running, however she didn't get tired right off because of her ability.

'This place is HUGE! There are a lot of places to hide!' she thought, running through crowds.

Eli nodded.

"I saw." He said. "Looking for her."

He looked over to we're he had last seen Kamiko. She was no longer in sight. His eyes hardened for a moment, then he looked back down at Eve.

"Vehicle still work. Can fix."

"It's fine. I managed to keep it from crashing anywhere..." Eve rubbed her eyes. "I'm sorry if I nearly hit you too...um....was that your sister?" Eve asked.

She pushed her gun down deeper in her purse.

"No." Eli answered in a flat tone. "But still connected."

His eyes flickered to Eve's purse. He had seen something peaking up from it. If looked like a weapon, but he couldn't tell what weapon of this time would have in their bags. Maybe it was one of those lip stick things some of the old ones talked about.

"Just need to talk."

(Present)

Kamiko soon found a good spot to hide. The top of a building over-looking the highway she just ran across. She kept her eyes peeled on Eli and Eve. For safety regulations, she had her pistol in hand just in case one of them did anything weird.

Eve relaxed a bit.

"Ok..."

She put her hands on the wheel. "I'm sorry, but I doubt I could help you find her. The city is large and if she is hiding she can hide forever. Unless you got her tagged with a tracker and got a dedicated satellite.."

Eve sighed again, shrugging helplessly.

(GET KAMIKO TAGGED ;~; Gosh....the things that happen to my Roleplay characters....)

Kamiko looked down at the two from the building, trying to make out what they were saying. A cat crawled beside her and Kamiko sighed.

"Why is it that all animals fallow me?" She said bluntly, looking at the grey tabby cat.

Eli wrinkled his forehead. He had heard of satellites from old records and heard there were still some that walked the night's sky. But how could one find someone with something that far in the sky.

"'Fraid not." He said after a moment of thinking.

"Wasn't tag a child's game?" He wondered mentally.

"Not really playing tag." He said, hopefully setting the girl straight. "Better start looking."

"Um...tracking chip? Hello? Born under a rock? Not knowing lingo?" Eve blinked. What was with this guy? He was acting like...an idiot. Who was this guy?

"Um...did you need help looking?"

Eli gave the bustling, crowded city around him a hopeless look.

"Probably." He admitted.

This was...odd. Did all people in this time help others like this or was the girl different? Also, the slight buzzing in the back of Eli's mind hadn't ceased since coming to this place, er, time. He might have been able to use that to follow Kamiko, but something else was setting it off. What was it?

Eli's eyes narrowed as he considered this.

"You seen someone strange?" He asked Eve.

He paused a moment.

"Someone else?" He clarified.

"Some weird boy walked in on me as I was....watching the ocean. He was acting really weird..." Eve turned the key. Good, it didn't stall. Pushing Eli back gently, Eve reversed and parked her car at the side of the road before climbing out.

She stretched and walked back over to Eli.

"She has a really far head start. There's no way to catch up to her. We'd have to have the luck of the devil to find her."

Kamiko gave a soft, dark laugh, standing up and slowly making her way down.

That cat fallowed her again, even as she headed out to the crowds of people.

She looked over to the car that wasn't so far in front of her, she dashed into the crowd.

Eli was slightly taken aback by Eve's offer to help. He wasn't use to people just helping him.

"Thank yo-" he started to say, but suddenly jerked his head to the side.

He had seen someone darting into the crowd.

"There." He said then ran after what he had seen.

"Gyaaa!" Kamiko screamed.

Eli was right behind her. Kamiko just stopped and gave herself up, raising both her hands in the air.

"You have caught me!" she declared.

Eve came up behind her.

"Are you all idiots?! I nearly hit you two! You would be dead! Do you understand? What the hell are you thinking, running out into the road?!"

Eve was pretty pissed. "You think because it's late there's no cars? You should know of all the illegal street races! My God, are you two tourists or something?"

The girl huffed a bit, her purple hair a mess. She was upset mostly, because she could have died too.

Eli stopped a few feet away from Kamiko. He studied her a moment, a wary look on his face.

"You time slid here." Eli stated. "How?"

He knew he probably should have waited to ask Kamiko that till they were some where less public, but he wanted it done in case she decided to rabbit again.

"Whoa...Slow down with the questions." Kamiko stated.

She pointed to Eve.

"You first." Kamiko said, putting her own hands behind her back.

"Idiot isn't that such of a nice thing to say first of all. I understand that you almost did hit me. I mean if I got hit what reason did I have for living in the first place, right?" she asked with a smile.

"I was getting away from this person right here." she snapped at Eve's statement about her running into the road, Kamiko pointing at Eli.

"Tourist? Nope! Just running around!" Kamiko said.

"You were going to fast in the first place. You need to slow down and watch out for people." She said, smiling.

Kamiko turned to Eli.

"You fallowed me here. I was trying to get away from you so I hid, then I figured just coming further back in time would PERHAPS get rid of you...did it though? NOPE!" she said bluntly.

"Who are you people anyway?!" she exclaimed.

"I am Kamiko Masako! Aged fifteen." Kamiko said.

"Eli." Eli stated.

He looked around at the crowd, feeling uneasy about being out in the open.

"Perhaps move to more private location?"

Kamiko nodded.

She pointed to Eve.

"Don't think your staying behind. You're coming with us." She said seriously.

Eve blinked.

"What?" She asked. "Why?"

Eve backed up a bit. She was actually scared now. She had said it so...seriously....and the guy was easily stronger then her.

And she left her gun in the car.

Kamiko gave a small smile.

"Because. You yelled at me...and you have to serve the penalty for doing so. Plus, you seem suspicious." she said seriously.
