So we are going to hold tournaments monthly for everyone who lost or won to be able to participate again, but it's not going to be a general Tournament such as the most recent KH13 Pokémon tournament, which will be only held every 6 months. 

 

Me and Weiss have gathered some possible tournament ideas for the years ahead:

 

- MAISUST [Pronounced MAY-SUST] (Moves/Areas/Item/Sky(Day & Night)/Unique (Conditions/Stones/Trading) Tournament.

 

The MAISUST Tournament contains Pokémon that evolve through a special method that will only be used in tournament.

- Seasonal Tournaments 

These tournaments will only occur in their respective seasons, and will surround types that are similar to that season.

 

Summer: Grass, Water, Fire, Bug, and Ground. (Occur in either June, July or August) 

Fall: Dark, Ghost, Ground, Rock, and Flying. (Occur in October or November) 

Winter: Ice, Flying, Ghost, Dragon, and Steel. (Occur in January or February) 

Spring: Electric, Flying, Water, Bug, and Grass. (Occur in May, April or March) 

 

 

- Legendary Tournament

 

This is self explanatory, it contains legendaries and no other Pokémon

 

- Baby Tournament

 

 

Self explanatory, you use the first stage of any Pokémon ever. Like Bagon instead of Salamance, or Igglypuff instead of Wigglytuff etc.)

 

 

- Singular Type Tournament (Please come up with a better name)

The whole tournament will surround one type and one type only, and every participant will go with that one type.

 

- Mono Type Tournament

 

This is different yet similar to Singular Type Tournament.

It's similar because you choose a type yourself and go with it throughout the tournament. You will have up to 3 teams with 3 different types. 

Everyone gets to choose whatever type they like, so it has more freedom.

 

- Weather War Tournament

 

Self explanatory, the tournament will based upon the weather you bring into your match. It can either come from abilities (Drizzle, Drought, Sand Stream and Snow Warning) or moves (Sunny Day, Rain Dance, Hail, and Sandstorm). You will have to have a team surrounding and abusing that certain weather. 

 

If you are using an ability to create weather, then have:

One weather inducer

3 Weather abusers

2 of any other Pokémon

 

If you are using a move to create weather, then have (one of these Pokémon must have the move):

3 Weather abusers 

3 alternate Pokémon

 

You can have up to 4 teams, for 4 weather patterns.

 

 

I'd like to hear your decisions for the next tournament, and possibly new tournaments.

October 2013: Halloween Tournament (Meaning Ghost, Dark, Psychic, Poison, and Bug types are used) (It's October)

November 2013: Fall Seasonal Tournament (I need it in fall)

January 2014: Winter Seasonal Tournament (I need in Winter)

February 2014: Valentine Tournament (Meaning Normal, Fighting, Ice, Fire, Poison and Dark types are used) (Another holiday that needs to be done)

March 2014: Spring Seasonal Tournament (Need it in Spring)

April 2014: MAISUST Tournament/Singular Tournament/Legendary Tournament (Colossal of tournaments, can't choose) 

 

 

Suggestions:

 

Regional Tournament

 

A Tournament for Pokémon in specific region. For example, Kanto with it's Kantonian(?) Pokémon will be used for a Kanto Tournament.

 

Hackemon Tournament

It makes you hack Pokémon to make it strong and use it against other people. So like using a super strong Bidoof. 

 

Double Trouble Tournament

This tournament consists of battling in Double battles rather than Single and Triple battles. Any Pokémon can be used, but you are limited to at least 1 legendary.

 

Triple Dibble Tournament (This is a dumb name I know, help me think of a new one, I got it from "Triple Dibble Dog Dare you" saying)

This tournament consists of battling in Triple battles rather than Double and Single battles. Any Pokémon can be used, but you are limited to at least 1 legendary.

 

 

NOTE: June did Baby Tournament so thats not going to be done again until after May 2014's tournament is over.

I voted for Legendary Tournament

 

But I suggest a Prime cup Tournament with each player allowed to use only 2 legendaries in his team and 4 non-legendaries

 

The KH13 tournament (and most tournaments here) will allow 1 - 2 legendaries in a team and the rest are non legendaries. 

Good suggestion, but many tournaments have been planned to have a similar rule like that.  

I wish I can vote for both MAISUST and legendary. I went for the former in case legendary has extra restrictions. (Metal's being an example)

It's annoying imo. But Ubers is pretty easy though and has less variety. 

 

 

Heres another tournament idea: Hackemon Tournament.

 

 

Basically hacked Pokémon, like making Magikarp a super powerful god. Seems kind of fun.

Less variety meaning the Legendary Tournament consists with only legendaries. Ubers usually used only legendaries, using other Pokémon is basically uncommon. 

This is more about Legendary Tournament than Ubers. 

I added 2 new Poké-Tournament suggestions, such as "Double Trouble" and "Triple Dibble". They are explained in the first post.

Though there was going to be a vote on which tournament should've been chosen, apparently someone voted at the last minute possible while canceling their Legendary vote.

 

The next tournament is MAISUST due to having the most amount of votes.
