I don't like it at all. I thought since its the final in the Mainstream FF 13 trilogy, it would get an international release so all of us 13 fans could enjoy the game and not get spoiled from Japan. But now, we have to wait 3 more months. So, 8 WHOLE MONTHS. And the worse part, look at XIII-2, it came out about 1 month in US after the Japan release. But we have to wait 2 and half months for XIII-3?

 

Well considering the AMAZING TRAILER that i can't get over fangasming, ill tolerate this. The game looks like its gonna be REALLY WELL DONE, and i can't wait. Besides, most of the secrets of the game will be found by february, so it'll help to get the Plat. faster for me.The only thing i really don't like about this, is that, im probably gonna end up getting spoiled on what happens in the game before i can play it. But oh well, what can you do? It doesn't matter, i know now it's going to be worth the wait. Besides, im going to have Ni No Kuni, Tales of Xillia, FF X HD Collection, and KH 1.5 HD ReMIX to keep me REALLY BUSY until then. So im ok with it now.

I wanted it to be sooner

I think it`s good. It gives me time to enjoy KHHD, GTA5, FFXIFFX-2HD, CoD Ghosts and as well as Ni No Kuni (If I pick it up soon) and many other unannounced games.

It's not XIII-3, Square Enix have confirmed it. You'll have HD 1.5 ReMIX and FF X/X-2 HD Remaster to play in the mean time.

I know its not called XIII-3, but its a fan nickname ive made for the game, and im sticking with it, since its much faster to write and rolls off the tongue easier. Besides, LR: FFXIII is a sequel to XIII-2, so it technically is XIII-3, even if thats not the official name. But, sorry if that annoys you.

 

Yep, they'll be really good to keep me busy. Can't wait.

My first reaction to the release date was shocking as well like "2014?!?!?!" but now that I think about it, I think I'm alright with the release date seeing that during Fall 2013, I will be getting many epic games anyways like KH HD 1.5, GTA V, Batman Origins, FFX/X-2 HD, Beyond: Two Souls. There's a lot. So for this reason I think it's a good wait before FF XIII-3 comes out.
