NOW can we agree that the games should be on the PC?

Posted

for the love of god you people are stubborn about this but now its just hilarious. as I've said before I don't want to have to hold on to multiple consoles just to play 1 franchise, and no the cloud isn't an option with 1.5 on the PS4, if its only on the cloud than I wont be able to play it if it ever gets taken down. plus porting games between consoles is even easier than ever now with the x64bit architecture of the PS4. your old excuse was "well they want to put the franchise on 1 console which is clearly the PS3 so no need for the PC" (I still can't believe some of you didn't see this coming)

so can we finally agree that kingdom hearts is a wonderful franchise the should be in the hands of many as possible and that PC is a good option for it?

EDIT: so apparently square is now going to release it on XBOX1. they are releasing KH on the most anti-consumer console ever there is no excuse left for them not to put it on PC.

EDIT: so...."facepalm" not at the game going on PC, but at sony....they screwed up(http://kotaku.com/third-party-publishers-will-have-final-say-on-used-game-512643240) since both consoles now seem bad in the same aspects, can you guys now acknowledge that PC is a good platform and worth KHs time? I know it doesn't have used games but with steam sales who needs them :D

I'll go with his response, because KH won't be on the PC.   It's just as certain as the Xbox One's sucess, it won't happen.   You can speculate about that on a status update, or on a speculation t

I torrented a few times, but I started to feel guilt, so I don't really do it anymore. I hate feeling guilty. I'd also buy it, but probably for the PS4 because my computer is not all that great. It's good, though. Just not really.. great.

well with the money it would require to get a PS4 you could probably get a gaming computer just as good(or upgrade your current one if its a desktop) but we don't know how extensively square is going to use the PS4s specs like 8 cores. if they did that than yeah a PC to play it would be expensive.

define most? not that many use DRM unless your talking about steam, but in that case why would you pirate it, steam is awesome. who needs pirating when you have steam sales xD

only games I can think of with really bad DRM is Sim City and Diablo3, ubisoft did have the always online DRM and stuff but they got rid of it from their games with patches.

I personally hate steam because most games that have steam don't have LAN support + any steam game that a user buys HAS to be registered before it can be played offline, I actually liked it when I could buy a game, install, play without the need of the internet.

Just accept KH: X on PC and move on.

eh, LAN is kinda dead at this point, even if the games weren't on steam they wouldn't use it. also what do you mean it has to be registered? like a physical copy or download? physical copy yeah but once you do it you can play it offline to your hearts content. online games require no registration unless its an MMO or something where the developer has a launcher that you download

KH: X looks kinda dissapointing

why? its just a terrible browser game, its practically an insult to PC fans of kingdom hearts. "no you cant have a full game even though there is no reason not to, here is a bad browser spinoff that has no kingdom hearts gameplay"

I really liked LANning games like Star Wars Battlefront, Call of Duty, Starcraft, etc... but now they're all online only 'cept Battlefront because there hasn't been one for PC since 2005. And by registered, I mean the game has to be installed with steam through the internet before it can be played offline... kinda sounds like the inspiration for the xbox pun, dontcha think?

yeah but at least steam lets you play games offline once you have them, I understand that must be a pain to register but once its done its done. and I buy games digitally for the most part on PC since the steam sales are fantastic.

That is true but with games like Call of Duty, registering them on the day of release is the biggest mistake you'll ever make because the steam server can't handle the huge amount of clients. But hey, if KH3 comes to PC via steam, I'll definitely buy it.

I think I'd prefer just buying a PS4 and the game and get it over with.. I'm not really a kind of guy that wants to upgrade his PC and I don't even know how, lol. I don't really want to either.

yes, they could rrelease a pc version considering they will be testing the game on pc and adding the console specific features only when porting this time around.

really doesnt make sense that they wont be

Yep this is a solution for the most PS3 gamers who don't want to have a PS4.

Just get a controller and connect with hdmi cable :).

See? Now you people are starting to get the idea.
