There is a history of problems with some consoles right after release. Do you think it is risky to buy it right away? I know someone who is going to the US in December, so I would like to use this opportunity to get mine....

I'm going to wait a few months and then buy it, but it really is a matter of opinion. I currently have an Xbox 360, but will buy the PS4 probably next year, or I may just wait for a PS4 Slim... or maybe a KH3 themed PS4 :D

wait a few months, hopefully there will be announcements for SE bundles overseas.

I don't think you'd have to worry about problems with the consoles, but I guess it's worth waiting a while.

Also, consider that the price will be VERY high when it's released, so waiting a few months for drops is something worth considering! Noting that KH3 will take some time to be released, not only in Japan, but even more for the other regions!

I am guessing that KH3 won't be out until at least 2015, and I just got a PS3 last year. PS4 will take a few years before it amasses a large library, and I would assume that with around 2 years passing between launch and KH3's release, the system will receive some form of a price drop by then. Either way, I can't afford $400 so I will wait for a price drop.

I'm not planning on getting the PS4 until I have gotten all the games that are coming out for Wii U and PS3. Though i do plan to buy it next year.

I've bought a lot of consoles on release day and never had a problem.

I plan on buying it next year.

Kingdom Hearts III isn't coming out for a couple of years, by then a "Slim" model should be available.
