I'm a bit confused. When I go on IGN, it says that Kingdom Hearts III is being developed the Square Enix 1st Production Development. 

 

I thought "1st production development" and the Osaka team were two different things, because I saw KH3D and BBS both listed in a lower production department or something, last time I looked at the SE wiki page.

 

Am I wrong? If someone could explain this to me, that would be great. 

I saw that earlier too, but IGN is covering tons of games so they are more likely to make errors than a fansite dedicated to one game

yeah..I'm confused too..according to wiki, tokyo and osaka team was combined...  ... so I guess right now the 1st production team were seperated (both under Hashimoto-san) into two team - Tokyo and Osaka, Tokyo for ffxv, Osaka for Kh3

 

btw..one more question, during the Sony Press Conference, they said that ffxv will be release for ps3 too..but then there's no news mentioning that the game will be on ps3.

"According to Yoichi Wada, the development department is no longer organized with the Product Development Division System since at least March 2007. The staff is now structured on a project-based system. At present, the teams in charge of the Fabula Nova Crystallis: Final Fantasy, Dissidia: Final Fantasy and the Kingdom Hearts series are collectively referred to as the 1st Production Department (第1制作部 dai-ichi seisakubu^?), however with no 2nd and 3rd Production Departments existing. The current structure of the 1st Production Department is the result of a fall 2010 merger between Square Enix's Tokyo and Osaka development studios. Shinji Hashimoto is its corporate executive.

They didn't say that. They said that FFXIV would be on PS3.
