Who are these games catered towards?

I still don't know. Nomura is pending on final fantasy characters? The reason why the first game was so good was because their was a good distribution of Disney and Square. I really hope they make Kingdom Hearts 3 NOT for Kingdom Hearts fans, but people who have strong ties to Disney and Square, that's the most important thing to me.

Everyone.

Meh on that people either really love Kingdom Hearts or they absolutely hate it.

It may be "pending" since Nomura can't directly reveal any information yet.

If they can integrate Disney in the same kind of way they did in kh1 great but KH1 was really lacking in original villains and original worlds and i think kh3 should focus on kh fans because thats the only people that should be playing it if they have any hope of understanding the story if they havent played the other titles and this is their first one they're going to be completely lost so it wont matter.

KH3 is going to be on blu-ray discs. Blu-ray discs have 4 times as much space as DVD discs which were used for the previous home console games so far.  Seeing this is the case I believe there is no reason why they can't integrate Disney in the way they did in KH1, as well as have a host of original worlds for FF characters and original characters.  The systems will allow this, so I expect this.

But in my opinion when KH first came out it was trying to cater for Disney and FF fans.  As it grew and more original characters came into play, they focused on actual KH characters more so than the others.  I think however though, you can't really be a KH fan without liking the Disney worlds you're going to.

Considering the name of the series though, I think it's obvious it caters to KH fans over Disney and FF anyday, they were just used to drawn in fans at the start (I'm not saying they'll go off them but the most original characters we'll get the less screen time we'll see from others). Though as I said, the technology is capable of giving both Disney/FF/KH characters enough screen time and interaction.

I assumed you were asking about the age range at first.

Alot of people have been waiting for Kingdom hearts 3 since Kingdom Hearts 2 their are a lot of casual fans this game was suppose to be fan service. I hope they balance out Square and Disney and also cater towards fans of the series.

I agree but I think thats a problem. Why cant they do it for everyone? Disney fans, Square fans and just fans of the game?

The main reason they haven't recently is because the systems they were using couldn't handle it, technically speaking not enough space or memory to hand over to characters to who aren't super important to the plot of the KH story.

Story-wise, the story of KH is not for children.

Since there is more than one game i think at this point the games are for fans, but anyone can play if they want. Does that even make sense? haha
