Hey everyone, how's it going? You know, I'm very happy about the announcements that have been made at this year's E3, and I'm really happy about the potential these games will offer. First off I'd like to comment on Final Fantasy XV.
Ever since 2006 we've been waiting for news about this incredible game, formerly known as Final Fantasy Versus XIII. And now that it's been changed to XV and it's been announced for the PS4, I'm even more excited! In terms of story and gameplay, XV looks like it will definitely deliver. I haven't played all the Final Fantasy games, I'm still technically a newb to the Final Fantasy universe, but I can already tell that Final Fantasy XV will probably be the best Final Fantasy game ever. I'm really looking forward to this game and all it has to offer. With that being said, now I'll talk about Pokemon X/Y.
To be completely honest, I have mixed feelings for the Pokemon series. While the games are exceptionally great and popular worldwide, I lost my faith in Pokemon when I played Pokemon White. (Pokemon fans, please don't kill me, I'm just being brutally honest here.) Even with its slight change in story, the game had more of the same that I had seen in past Pokemon games. My most favorite generations are the Hoenn, Sinnoh and Johto regions. I loved the games to death, but when Pokemon White came out, I just didn't find it in my hear to finish it. I never finished the game.(I got to the Elite Four and that was basically it.) But, with the announcement of Pokemon X/Y, I have found hope that the series will finally push forward and evolve. The game looks amazing, the Pokemon designs aren't as horrible as Black and White's, and the Kallos region looks to be an interesting place. I sincerely hope that there are significant changes story wise, because we already know how this goes: New trainer, go get starter from lab, train, get 8 gym badges, challenge elite four, become champion. I know these events will probably happen, but I hope that the in between parts have significant storylines and such. Pokemon X/Y might finally re-establish my faith in the Pokemon series.
So everyone, what do you think of these two games?
