1st:

 

Why are Sora & Riku confused when they arrive at TWTNW? They knew that they were supposed to unlock seven sleeping worlds, & they unlocked the first six, then showed up in TWTNW, & wondered why they were there. Shouldn't it have been obvious that it was their sevent world?

 

2nd:

 

Why was only Riku named Keyblade Master at the end of the game? He & Sora both took the MoM exam, & they both went through the same worlds, but only Riku was named Master. The whole game they led you to believe that it was something they both could pass, rather than them trying to beat the other out of the title.

 

I feel like I'm missing some very important information from this game, please help.

1: They locked seven, Destiny Islands counted as one. And TWTNW isn't a sleeping world.

Oh. Wow, now I feel stupid. COMPLETELY forgot about Destiny Islands. Feels kind of strange that we keep going back there even though they got destroyed in KH.

So, what you're saying is because Sora got captured, he actually failed the exam? Or Riku did so much more that it was kind of like they were graded on a curve?

I would say both, actually.

I think they presumed they had to unlock 7 keyholes of sleep, not worlds, there was 2 in Traverse Town. Least that's what I took away from it when I played it.  (though I can see by the replies people are saying Destiny Island counted but honestly I can only remember battering Ursula and not sealing a keyhole there).

 

Riku went up and beyond the call of duty (HEY A DIFFERENT GAME THERE<) when it came to his exam, going into Sora's dream to save Sora.

 

Sora fell asleep within his dream in his exam.

 

In reality they probably didn't want it to end as expected "Oh YAY BOTH CHARACTERS PASS HAPPY FAIRY TALE DISNEY ENDING WITH CHERRIES ON TOP" and it would have been more expected for Sora to pass if only one was to pass 'cause he's the main protagonist, and Nomura likes throwing in surprises, cause he thinks we like that.

 

It also seems likely to have had something with Riku redeeming himself, whereas Sora didn't need to redeem himself

if a nobody is the body of a somebody, when sora gets trapped in a cocoon at the end com shouldnt roxas have been born inside of it thus trapped?

noo roxas was created towards the end of kh1

When sora released his heart he became a heartless his shell of a body and the heart of ventus (from what we assume) became roxas when Sora got his heart back from Kairi Roxas remained
