So we all know that all decisions made in the beginning of Kingdom Hearts (& of course Final Mix) will affect our stats. So I made this topic just to discuss about the stats.

Now answer me this. What do you usually choose? Are you comfortable with it? Do you recommend it? Does it "suit you"? Explain.

Sounds like I'm giving homework. Lol

Choose staff, sacrifice shield, go on slow pace for extra challenge :) i'd still choose staff over anything due to extra MP in the end :)

This. Magic is extremely useful, and I didn't really find that out til my 2nd or 3rd playthrough since I was kinda young at the time. Graviga totally annihilates everything if you grind levels instead of skipping all the heartless in the game.

I choose the sword and sacrifice the wand. Earlier access to certain abilities makes it worth it, though I might I have a lot a troubke w/ Xemnas w/o that extra MP. I mainly use melee attacks, only using magic when the situation calls for it and for support.

On beginner I should use sword and sacrifice standard don't know just what you most love to use.

For my Proud mode 100% run, i'm gonna use the Shield give up Magic. I need the extra defense since i plan to do every possible thing on this run(for the platinum). Im more of an attacker, not really much of a magic user

unless you count DDD, since you can spam commands with no consequences. Thats what ill do in Re:COM. But even then,

Most of the time i stick to attacking. Ive been an attacker most times i play through the KH games, and ive played KH1 at my friends house, and i plan to stick with that. Its easier for me. I only save magic for healing and when its neccessary, but my most used spells besides Cure are gravity, since it destroys things so easily, and aero for extra defense. I'll stick with a slow EXP gain for the first 40 levels, and fast EXP gain for the next 60 levels, since you'll probably be level 40 or close to it by the time you get to the last worlds.

For a normal casual run though, i'd go with Strength and give up Defense. Fast pace at the beginning that slows later on. I have yet to choose magic over strength, but ill try it in my later runs of KH.

I choose the sword and ditch the staff.

I've done shield no staff, sword no staff, sword no shield, and staff no shield. I've never really played the game with a strong magic level. I actually rarely use it with the exception of cure.
