So I'm not very active on the forums, but I was here I believe before 1.5 was announced (maybe a bit after) and I was excited for it. Got it, played a portion of KH1 FM and that's it. Things came up and I haven't really been able to play more (I did watch the Days Movie). When I had the PS2, I was very disconnected on news for games. I still remember being surprised seeing Kingsom Hearts 2 on shelves. That being said, I really haven't played any of the games except for KH 1. Until 2.8 came out and I only played through 0.2 (I needed my fix, I was happy to have the chance to play a KH game again). I never got around to getting 2.5 and then got a PS4...and hoped for a long time that the collections would be brought over to PS4. Now it's less than a week away where I can enjoy the games and finally play through all of its story in 60 FPS (here's to hoping Square continues to patch its current issues/glitches). I'm excited, and I decided on playing each game by release order. All this will be prepping me for KH3, which hopefully makes an appearance at E3. Feel free to share your thoughts/opinions.

Actually there isn't necessarily 4K support in 2.8 (not in 0.2). The PS4 runs at 900p in 30 FPS while on the Pro it runs 1080p with an unlocked frame rate that is generally between 50-60. (Unless your talking about the TV upscaling, which imo, does make a difference if the console itself upscales or outputs native 4K for a much sharper IQ) Nevertheless I look forward to finally having all the games on one console. I'm curious to see what improvements the Pro wil have over Vanilla PS4 since it's confirmed to fun 60fps on base PS4. Maybe locked 60? Possible 4K support (I expect upscale)? Improved textures? Guess we'll find out soon since we aren't far off from that releasing.

There is no HDR mode in KH 0.2.

Aqua seems to look less blurred on PS4 than PS3 in bbs screenshot. Also it's worth noting some differences in KH 1 in ps4 seems to have better textures for the belts and zippers and colors seem to be slightly different in the pics (in a good way).

1. I don't see it happening since they'll basically be ports with just enhancements (60 FPS and Pro Mode). I'm not saying it's impossible for them to implement, but that costs money, man power, and time. I would rather have them use all that for KH3 tbh than an online mode on 7 year old software. 2. There will definitely be cover art, not just the symbols. However I'm unsure if it'll be completely new box art, or just a mash up of both 1.5 and 2.5.

I honestly can't see a bundle happening since they are both releasing within 3 months of each other. If they announce anything like that. I would imagine maybe PlayStation Experience having them announce something related to 2.8 and/or 1.5 + 2.5 as it's the only big event before they release those titles.

Why do you think they'll re release a game again in the same year? I mean, I get its its 15 year anniversary, hence why I think there is a possibility for 1.5 + 2.5 on ps4 to get some kind of special edition. But re releasing again in the middle of the same year it releases doesn't make sense to me tbh.

Thats a given, I was almost sure it would have pro mode anyways since Sony does want that to be mandated for future releases on PS4. As far as the pin goes, I guess your right. I think the only reason why I thought it would be possible is because of the 2.5 Collectors Edition had a really nice looking steelbook commemorating all of its games in nice art. Regardless I'll be looking forward to its release like everyone else.

Keep in mind this is just speculation, no confirmation or announcement has been given as of this point. The twitter for Kingdom Hearts says to wait on more info. Do you think they'll announce another limited edition. Maybe another one with just a pin? Or offer a steelbook? If not, I could maybe imagine other info meaning a Pro mode announcement. But I'm moreso hoping its some kind of edition announcement, especially if it includes a steelbook. Thoughts?

I've been hoping for this since 2014. Glad to see it finally happening. It's really cool to finally have all the games on one console. So many cool new games and this coming out in just 6 months. I'm pretty back logged as it is already but man am I glad to be a gamer. I look forward to playing this in its entirety, with a smooth 60 FPS.

Not too excited about its delay, but it does give time for me to play and finish other games. FFXV, TLG, South Park, Deadrising 4....wow, Q4 2016/Q1 2017 (KH2.8, Horizon) will be packed for me. Anyone wonder if the 2.8 releasing in 2017 confirms Kingdom Hearts 3 release in 2018? Or 2019 if they decided to put 1.5 and 2.5 on ps4 for 2018 (pure speculation of course)?

Definitely would get this. If it had some kind of collectors edition I will pre order it in a heart beat.

I haven't pre ordered any game recently, but games I plan on preordering are: Horizon Zero Dawn Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Kingdom Hearts 3 The Last Guardian (It's a maybe) I already have preordered: Call of Duty Black Ops III Juggernog Edition Ratchet and Clank (PS4) I plan on getting Bloodborne's Expansion as well

I would understand if people wouldn't want titles to be region locked, but unless you understand Japanese, all you are getting is gameplay and winging it with the story not really knowing what's going on. I would rather wait until it comes out in English. I think that Square Enix will at-least put the release dates reasonably close to eachother if they decide to not release it worldwide. I mean, I doubt there would be a 1 year gap like it was with 1.5. I would be fine with 2 months, but of course I would like it a lot sooner.
