May approached the DWMA. "Wow... It's a lot bigger than I imagined it would be..." She muttered as she stepped up the stairs to the entrance. Class was starting in half an hour. May had made sure to get there extra early so she wouldn't miss her first day. She walked through the door and nervously walked to her classroom. She sat towards the back and pulled out her textbook to get a head start on the day.

May nodded. "I'll listen! I've never been there before, so I'd be lost if I didn't know someone else who knew how to get around..." She said, then had an idea. "Hey, you're a Meister, right? I wonder if we'd be able to partner up..." She said hopefully. She wanted a partner soon. She looked around at the others in their group. She was hoping she'd be able to make more friends on this trip...

(sorry for the late response I was coming home from Manhattan. Yes, I live where were going.)

"Oh, you will." Mizuri was surprised, knowing that someone noticed him and that they would appreciate him made him smile. "Yes" he stuttered "I am a meister, do you want to...partner up?" He was happy but at the same time afraid it took lots of commitment and trust, but he knew it was the right thing to do.

While slight and soft, Joshua still smiled a bit. "Thank-you, Kenji...." He said very quietly. Luckily Kenji was right beside him. He chuckled for a split second too, "Heh, but, I don't think meisters like you are supposed to eat souls, right? I think...." Joshua said that and basically dropped himself down from his seat and onto the floor. (Hm...my group is all a bunch of older people. Hey...I need to go and check something, actually....) He thought, standing up and dashing ahead. He stood right by Paloma and glanced at her. "Um...Paloma. I need to see the difference of our height...oh, and when's your birthday?" He asked her, half-enthusiastic and half-nervous.

 

 

Fayette walked through the halls, her sword sheathed in her scabbard, and her steps echoing loudly and boldly. (Some of these kids are damn brats this year.) Fayette continued walking and stopped to see someone— the main professor of this school. "Igor! I hope you have no plans tomorrow. I'll be taking over Class Crescent Moon for the day tomorrow."

(I'm assuming the timeline is correlating with ours, let me know if that's not the case

 

 

(Paloma)

 

Paloma put her hands to her hips and leaned down just a tad to look directly at Joshua.

"November 18th, 2001. And why do you need to know that, are you a little creep or something?" She asked suspiciously. Then she laughed. "You're so cute!" She said, giving Joshua a light noogie.

 

(Kenji)

 

Kenji leaned back in his chair and laughed heartily at the scene occurring. (I wonder if Joshua really is my partner.) the thought lingered in his head as he continued to watch them

(Heh, that's ironic unLock. The idea actually just came to me. Also, that's fine! Also, VIIth, I suppose that could work. There wasn't really a set year for this, just that it was set far in the future of the Soul Eater series.)

 

May nodded. "Right! We can both do it!" She exclaimed, and smiled. She was glad to have made a few friends already. She then turned to face Mizuri again, now that he'd spoken. "Oh, uh... sure! You can be my Meister!" She confirmed to Mizuri. "Let's just hope that our souls are compatible... I hear that if they aren't, we won't be able to work together..." She muttered. "But it's best not to think that way, right?" She smiled again, reassuringly. She remembered that Hoshi needed a partner, too... "Hoshi, you don't have a partner yet, do you...?" She asked, trying to confirm. "If you don't, I'm sure you'll find one when we get there." She reassured her other friend. They'd all get a partner, after all. Right?

 

Professor Igor looked at Fayette. "Hm? I didn't really have any plans for tomorrow. Very well then, that's fine by me that you're taking over for the day. It gives me a chance to work on my research some more..." He muttered to himself, smirking. "I'm guessing you've read their enrollment files by now, if you're taking over. That means I won't need to explain anything else! Well then, good luck tomorrow!" He said to his fellow teacher, and went off on his way. He couldn't wait to get back to work with experiments again...

Joshua couldn't help but stare at Paloma for a few moments. "U-uh...N-November!? So you mean...I'm older than you!?" He exclaimed. (I'm older! But she's...taller...!) Joshua thought, but before he was able to respond, she had already started messing with him. "Noo...! Paloma! Don't give me a noogie!" He exclaimed a bit louder, unusual for him as of late. He groaned, and tried escaping, but to no avail.Fayette simply scoffed. "The students need to be straightened up, Igor. And you're no good at it." She said quite bluntly. Most other teachers would actually still refer to Igor as Professor, but Fayette was obviously unlike that. Lord Death to her, was simply Shinigami as well. Any punishment-- be it a demotion or worse-- a Reaper Chop, Fayette would take without argue. She would simply state what she wanted.

Igor smirked and stopped in his tracks, turning to face Fayette. "Straightened up, you say? I assure you, by the end of the year, they'll all be excellent Meisters and Weapons, as well as having 'straightened up'." He said to Fayette. "Now, if you excuse me, I have experiments to conduct. I trust that you'll do a proper job in teaching them tomorrow!" Igor exclaimed, then took off down the hall, eager to reach his lab.

Something kinda clicked in Shift's head. "How do we get to where we need to go?" He addressed both teams, wondering the answer.

"Yea, I need a partner!" Hoshi responded, a bit delayed.  "Hm..." she looked around hoping to find someone available.  She seemed to be very cheerful now, not noticing that she was becoming more extroverted the more she talked to May.  She poked her head over the place trying to spot someone who would look to be her desired partner.   She knew at least one person had to be compatible with her.  "Who do you think I should ask?"

Mizuri had a partner and knew nothing could stop them. "Well, once we get to New York we can test out our wavelengths and how we work together as a team!" He was excited he thought of fighting throughout the streets, in the subways, and on buildings. He was up for the challenge he just wanted to get there.

(How are we going to get to New York?)

May looked around the room to find someone else in their group that Hoshi could partner with. "Well, Mizuri and I are partnered, and Joshua and Kenji look like they are, too... I suppose that leaves Aire, then." May told Hoshi, hoping that those two could match soul wavelengths. She then looked over at her partner. "Right! We'll learn there!" She smiled. After saying that, she heard Shift's question. "That's a good question... Uh..." She looked around the room, hoping to find something. She noticed something written on the board: "To go to your destinations: Find a mirror. Write in the following codes, and then walk through the mirror. It will have the properties of a gate, taking you to that location." May read aloud, then looked at the two codes listed under the message. "New York City: 62-48-12-96. Paris: 37-93-82-41." She nodded. "Looks like that's how we get there... There were a lot of mirrors outside, too." She informed everyone else.

"Well I guess were looking for a mirror!" He remarked "Let's split up in groups of two(weapon and Meister) and look around the school. If we get into any trouble it will give us the chance to see if everyone's wavelengths are compatible." He was confident about taking the lead and got his stuff together so he was ready to search. "We need some communication device so we can find and signal each other easily, any ideas?"

"Uh... I guess... Am I the only one who has a cell phone?" Shift asked Mizuri, as well as the rest of the group.

(Wow...I came in at the perfect time!  )

 

"Heh...mirrors...where will we end up? A bathroom, or something? That'll be awkward...Ah well! Let's kick some Kishin butt!" Arch was very intent on getting this all over with. As soon as he was done with this, he could go back to his chillaxin'!

 

"Mirrors...huh...I guess I've always wanted to go!" Clear that her anger turned all the way into determination, she was all the way prepared for this! "Right, so, I need a partner...Hmm..." Then she realized...she barely knows anyone!

May nodded. "I have a phone, too... I can use that if I need to." She confirmed. "I guess Mizuri and I will be a group, then... what about everyone else?" She asked, hoping that everyone would be able to find a partner now.

"Yep!" Mizuri nodded. "I have a cell phone." He took his cell phone with a blue case and a white star on it. "The only problem is we don't have everyone's numbers so it may take a while." He was anxious.

"This is bad!  I don't have a cellphone..." Hoshi thought to herself, sort of producing a forced smile.  "Note... get a cellphone!"

 

"Okay, I guess I can go talk to her," she replied, moving to the girl name Aire.  She stuck out her hand and produced a better smile, but one could still see how tensed she was.  "Hi, I'm Hoshi!  Looks like we're the only one's left.  Wanna be partners?" she asked the girl years younger than her.

Alexander stared off at no one, just in the distance, as if in a trance. (Paris? Why's everyone so excited about this? All it'll be is a stuck-up fancy big city. Haven't they ever been to a big city? I remember living in New York. It was smelly, the people were impeccably rude...I don't see how anyone could like these kinds of places.) Alexander thought, and sighed. He then slightly turned to his right, (And then there's this girl...Sairi, I think. She keeps glancing over at me...it's a bit creepy and unnerving. She'll just mess me up-- make me nervous again.) Alexander turned away, facing the front again. With Sairi on the right, Alexander let his hair stay over his eye, so as not to see if or if not Sairi ends up looking his way again. (I don't need a partner anyways. I'm able enough to fight with my soul wavelength....)

 

Sairi looked at Alexander, standing up and standing on the right side of Alexander.

"So. You're name is Alexander?" she asked.

There was silence for a second.

"Were going to Paris....that's rather crazy, isn't it?" Sairi asked.

Sairi was still on Alexander's right side, luckily, so he kept his hair drooping down— disabling him from being able to see the girl. Still...he could hear her. And his headphones were in his pocket, so he couldn't pretend as if he.couldn't hear her...it'd be rude, as much as he hated to have to talk to her. "........." Silence dawned over for a short while, until Alexander finally decided he shouldn't pretend to ignore Sairi. "......Y-yeah. My name's Alexander...and...you're Sairi, r-right?" He stuttered little times, trying his best to.no avail, or perhaps just little avail. (Damn it...I can feel her staring at me with those innocent eyes...I should've just ignored her and started a conversation with some other guy in the class....) Alexander grumbled in his head, feeling a bit of angst, pressure, and of course, his nervousness. After yet another state of silence and quietude...Alexander continued. "...Mm, I guess it is pretty crazy that we're going to Paris on the...first day of school...." Alexander sighed. "Not that I'll like it, anyway."

Arch was just about to go drifting off again, when he reminded himself of his task. "By the way, I have my cell with me, so yeah! This has been me, signing off!" Then he sat down and put his head on the desk. He really didn't care who his partner was, as long as he/she wasn't a bore.

 

Aire was a bit skeptical about getting a partner she barely knew. However, she needed one, so she was willing to commit to anyone. "Sure! My name's Aire! And what did you say your name was again? Also, since you were probably sent over here by the professor, I know you're a weapon! So, what weapon are you?"

"I haven't been out of country before..." Sairi said, her voice drifted a bit.

"Lighten up a bit...It's not going to be that bad." she said, looking at Alexander even though he really couldn't see her.

"Well, I have. ...I-it's not that great......I kinda feel a little...bad for everyone going to New York City." Alexander pressed his hand against his face for a second, on the verge of stressing a bit. He didn't want the class— or even just her to see his other side on the first day. Alexander sighed again. "...I hope it won't be bad. New York sure as Hell was." Alexander reached into his pocket and grabbed his headphones. "N-now that the teacher's gone...I can listen to my music now. R-right?" He asked. Sairi, hopeful shed let him and end the conversation. He didn't want to be rude and end it himself anyway....

(Paloma)

 

Paloma approached Arch and nudged him.

"Hey, you, yeah you. I like your style, and I uh, noticed you didn't have a partner yet." She gave a sly smile. "You're a meister, I'm a weapon, how about you and me partner up? We might even like it. What do you say?"

 

(Kenji)

 

Kenji looked to Joshua.

"So Josh, you up for being partners? It'll be easier for me to protect you if we are." He said with a smile."

(We should probably start looking for the mirrors)

Mizuri looked over at his new partner May and asked her a question. "Hey, May! Oh, that rhymed...anyway," He continued. "I think we should probably start looking for the mirror so tell be when your ready." He flashed a welcoming smile. Mizuri put his sister's old headphones in and listened to some 'Girl's Generation' on his phone.

Joshua rubbed his head for a few seconds, Paloma's noogie had left it throbbing a bit. After she went to Arch, Joshua looked back up at Kenji, "Oh...um...yeah, we can be partners...." Joshua said, before looking up, as if thinking of something. "Um...oh, yeah...Kenji, do you know how to fight with a chain? It's not exactly easy...everyone else who's tried with me usually end up getting the chain to whip their own faces...other times they'll be unlucky and end up with the blade part of the weapon stuck in their head...I don't really want that to happen to you." He sighed.

Arch put his head up, and looked up at Paloma. "Huh? Uh...yeah, right, sure thing! I like your style too, how you handled yourself in that fight earlier...I like anyone who can win a fight, vocal or physical! So, yeah! Let's go find a mirror and go to Paris!   ;)" And with that, Arch was up, and headed toward the door to look for a mirror, which was apparently a harder task than it should be!
