Soul Eater: Legend of the Holy Sword (RP)

Posted

(Alright, here's the RP topic! For anyone who'd still like to join, students need to join in pairs by the way: http://kh13.com/forum/topic/57294-soul-eater-legend-of-the-holy-sword-signups/)

May approached the DWMA. "Wow... It's a lot bigger than I imagined it would be..." She muttered as she stepped up the stairs to the entrance. Class was starting in half an hour. May had made sure to get there extra early so she wouldn't miss her first day. She walked through the door and nervously walked to her classroom. She sat towards the back and pulled out her textbook to get a head start on the day.

(Basicly, mot of the classmates are still in class with the exception of Axel and his partner, and Me and my partner.

(Yeah, so guys, I'm dealing with a teeny problem right now. It's my schedule. Compared to everyone else, my posts are way off time zone. To give you all an idea of this, I was getting emails regarding this RP regularly at about midnight. I'm not saying I'll back out, I'm saying that it'll be hard to keep track of everything. However, I'll try my best!)

Aire decided it was best to get to know her partner. "Sure, we can get to know each other, Hoshi! Well, for starters, the kid over by the doorway there is my brother, Arch. He's a bit of a handful, but he's alright. Then...Actually that's pretty much it...Nothing exciting really happens around my place, so there isn't too much to talk about!"

(What's your timezone and when can you usually get on?)

"Well, okay!" she responded.  "Wanna go outside and check if we're compatible?"

Akane looked around as much as she could see from ShiftStar's hand. "Arrgh, too many mirrors." She moaned in annoyance. "If we read that code or whatever, will one of the mirrors show itself?" She asked. "In fact, do we even have the code..."

(Alexander has a phone. He's been using it for music)Alexander sighed yet again, for the umpteenth time. (I have a choice, now?) Alexander thought. With his left eye, he looked around. Everyone had a partner. Not to mention, the weapons that were on the same assignment as his, were girls, right? Seems like it. Alexander looked at Sairi in the eye— half confident and half nervous again. Well...the nervousness was overwhelming this time. ".........F-fine. You're...a scythe, r-right? That's...actually a good weapon for me. And...everyone seems to have chosen their partners...so...." Alexander gulped and sighed once more. "......We're...partners." Immediately after, Alexander brought himself to look back at his phone and play his music— to calm him. Even though the music wasn't calming at all. From Warmer, he played the song Inside. Probably one of the louder songs of the playlists. Joshua looked up at his new partner Kenji now, standing up and looking around. "Well...despite the great chances of you whacking your face when fighting with me as usual...I guess we should go and find a mirror."

Sairi smiled."Thank you Alexander." She said even though he probably couldn't hear her.

"No, I think we have to fog up one of the mirrors then write the number... But I didn't write the number down. I'm gonna call the rest of the group and tell them where to convene." He pulled out his phone and called Mizuri. "H-Hello? Is this one of the students from the class room at the DWMA? If so, we found some mirrors we can use."

Akane sat there in silence while ShiftStar was on the phone. She didn't hear many footsteps outside which means that there wasn't many people in the hallway. "What are the rest of those slowpokes doing?!" She said, with some of her patience gone. Akane wasn't one that liked to be kept waiting. Her tone changed and she sounded more relaxed. "I wonder what a soul tastes like.."

"Wait you'be never had a soul before?" Shift asked in disbelief.

"No...What is there a problem?" Akane said with a dark tone. "Well its a long story anyways but I could probably get my first one on this mission. Who knows I could probably become a death scythe before you know it!"

"No, no problem. It just seems like a shame to me, you being so strong, I woulda thought you were already kinda near a Death Scythe. But that doesn't matter. I'll help you become a Death Scythe, and as quickly as possible!" Shift said, sounding a little more excited than he wanted to.

Akane was silent for a moment. Seeing that she's been at the DWMA she should have been a death scythe by now. "Heh, well thanks. Don't get too excited now, its going to take a while before I become one."

"Naw. If we do one quest a day, it will only take a few months at the least!" Shift said. "We can do it!"

May walked through the halls with Mizuri, peeking into empty classrooms to find a mirror. "Not finding anything..." She sighed in disappointment. Just then, Mizuri's phone began to ring. "You think it's one of the others?" She asked, hopeful someone had found a mirror already.

(I'm in the central timezone in America. And with how much of a difference there is time-wise, I'm WAY off of everyone else's time. So basically, when I'm on at, like, 3PM or something, no one else is...so yeah...)

"Yeah, sure, we can try!" Aire was acting ecstatic to meet the partner that she'd be with for the rest of this time! Unless something goes TERRIBLY wrong, but that's unlikely to happen. "Right, so, let's head outside! Then we can look for mirrors!" She then left the classroom and out to the hall.

(I actually live in the PST timezone, so we aren't that far off from each other.  I'm also usually on most of the time everyday, just had to clean today.)Hoshi followed Aire down the hall and out the building and asked, "You ready?" before turning into her weapon form, a fencing sabre.

(Sorry, I was busy too)

(Paloma)

Paloma smiled. "Alright, let's go!" She said, following along.

"So we need a mirror, you got any ideas?" She asked Arch. "I never got a chance to get a good look around, I was too busy meeting people and finding my classroom.

(Kenji)

Kenji shook his head. "I'll be alright. Ever since I was little I've been able to read people pretty well... I don't know why, but I always knew if someone was going to hurt me, and was able to dodge accordingly. I was always very calculated, so I think I can handle it. I've always felt like using a long range weapon anyways." He looked around. "Got any ideas for the mirrors?"

(Huh...well, I'm referring to most people on this RP. It's just insane how many messages I get overnight...Ah well! Might as well deal with it.)

Arch actually went into a deep thinking phase for a few moments. Then he looked up and said, very simply..."Wanna go and try a display case? Glass can sometimes work as a mirror, right? Plus, I saw one on the way, so it shouldn't hurt that much to try!" The only time Arch would think logical is in an assignment or a test. Not even in a fight. He'd just go trigger-happy with a gun!

"Ready!" Aire said. As Hoshi began transforming, Aire was a bit skeptical about what would happen if they didn't match. However, carrying Hoshi as a blade, there was no pain at all, and she could wield it/her(No idea what to do for that) just fine. "Alright! A perfect match! Also, I see what you mean by a combination! This looks amazing!" The closest she'd ever come to wielding an actual sword, let alone a partner, was when she was swinging around a stick when she was little. She loved the feeling of a weapon in hand, and felt very invigorating to wield an actual one.

(It or her, doesn't matter, as long as I can tell what you're talking about)"Perfect!" she yelled from within her form.

It was a satisfying feeling, knowing that she was useful to her partner Aire.  Hoshi was excited to start, but was at a loss for words.  She had been worrying about being competent all this time, she didn't plan further ahead.

"Hm, what should we do now?"

May walked through the halls with Mizuri, peeking into empty classrooms to find a mirror. "Not finding anything..." She sighed in disappointment. Just then, Mizuri's phone began to ring. "You think it's one of the others?" She asked, hopeful someone had found a mirror already.

"Probably, I'll answer it." He took his phone out and answered. "What's up?" Mizuri was anxious to find out if they found a mirror or not.

"Me and Akane found a large mirror room" Shift said, deciding to exit the room and stand in the hall to watch for anyone who may come. "If you could, please go back, get the codes and the others. To find this place, you go out the main exit of the room, walk to the part of the hall that was on your left when you exit, take a right, and then you should see me standing outside a door." Shift explained.

"Okay were on it!" Mizuri sprinted to the classroom to write down the number. "Let's see here." He looked around the room but there was no number to be found he looked over at May wondering if she had the code. "May! Did you right the code down?"

May followed Mizuri. "Guess they found a mirror..." She muttered to herself as she ran. After Mizuri questioned her, she nodded. "Yeah, I've got them on my phone. Where are Shift and Akane?" She asked, hoping to speed things up.

"I'm not sure but they found some mirrors. If you have the codes I could text them to Shift and Akane."

"Right." May nodded, and sent the codes to Mizuri. "I just texted them to you. You can send them over to the others." She confirmed.
