Premise:

 

 

Namine woke up in a cold, white empty room with a very intricate design.  Just as the room, she wore nothing but the color of purity, white.  As her eyes began to fully open, she realized there was only one door, only one way of vacating herself out.  She examined every aspect of the room, turning over everything, and thoroughly checking every nook and cranny.

 

Eventually, she concludes the only way out is to open the large double doors.  A hallway bearing the same absence of color greeted her as she opened her only exit.  And to accompany the bright corridor… was the movement of many and many bodies.  An incredible sight.  Each one more familiar to her than her very self.  In fact she did not know who she was, the only indication to her identity was the very bodies themselves, stopping to greet her and uttering the name, Namine before leaving.

 

…One week before, your character starts their journey here, Castle Oblivion.  It is Day -7.

• Keep your characters true to Kingdom Hearts, such as no last names.
• Everyone's characters will look like an original KH character that has been connected to Sora's heart.  Scroll down for the list of characters your character can resemble.
• To show you have read every rule, write your favorite character and 'loves' after it in the bottom of your Character Sheet.

Extra Information/My Introduction of the RP:

 

Hi all!  If you haven't noticed, Namine is my favorite character and I'd like to make an RP that gives a background story to her.  This RP will try to establish the two characters that Namine considers to be her trio of friends.  Example: Sora, Riku, and Kairi.  Namine is the Sora-like (Ven and Roxas) character, who will wake up in Dive to the Heart later on.  Her trio can be all girls, two guys, one girl and one guy, etc.  

 

This RP takes place in the seven days before Namine and Roxas are created.  But before then, you guys are practically in a competition to see who will be in Namine's trio.  Don't worry if you aren't part of her trio at the end, you can still be a main character in the form of an antagonist, neutrality, a lone wolf, or a friend that isn't considered to be part of the trio.  Ultimately, I'll have everyone vote on who the trio will be at the end, before we finish this.

 

If this RP is a success, I won't hesitate to make the sequel that this prequel builds up upon.  Have fun!

Sekai woke up in an empty room.  It was quite barren.  In fact, too much for her own liking.  She slowly propped herself up, summoning her powers to do so.  Even in the midst of an unfamiliar place, she was still as much like herself as can be.  Her laziness was unparalleled.  

 

 Eliza summoned her weapon, planning to deflect the attack and responding with one of her own.  Her blades made contact with the vicious creature, destroying it with one swing.  She was indeed strong, and nothing about this place scared her one bit.  She began to repeat this cycle to the next batch of enemies that approached her.  She was getting better, gaining experience.

Also, we'll move from day to day with everyone's approval.  Right now we are at Day -7 and until everyone is ready to move on to the next day, we will stay the same day.  If you've absolutely finished your day and can't go on, then just wait for the others to finish!

Kiru had to stop and take a break before she went any further. She made sure there wasn't any of those shadowy creatures around the area then she sat down on the ground and leaned on the wall "So far I've found nothing!" Kiru said in frustration, afterwards she yawned and took a catnap

*Day -7 ~ F2*

 

Cykes, outfitted with the main blade and hollow blade together, put away his folding blade and dismissed his swords carrying case. Shouldering his combined swords, he took off after the Neoshadows. They rarely came to the Mysterious Tower, but they still turned up now and again. What ever this pack was up to was worth Cykes's time to put a stop to.

He chased after them for a ways through the city till they stopped at near the edge of town. Cykes slowed and walked quietly closer. The Neoshadows seemed to be waiting for something. Cykes looked out beyond the city. For a few seconds he saw nothing.

"What are they...?" He thought, then he saw something.

A speck in the sky that looked like it was getting closer to the city. Cykes stared hard and could make out a human form.

~Day -7~ F2

 

Sekai arrived at the town hours later, where she crashed into a roof.  She created a hole in it as she passed out from the crash.  She remained there, unconscious for the time being.  Just where did she end up and why was the roof so brittle? 

 

Hours later, Sekai woke up once again.  So many hours spent unconscious this day and maybe it was just bad luck.  She was exhausted and somehow just fine in terms of being bruised or scarred.  She stood up to search another mysterious place once again.

"This is getting stupid..."

~Day -7: Floor 10~

 

Lyon walked around the edge of the dais, unsure of what to do. He had small pieces of memories of this place, enough to know it's function. But the air...it felt different. The Mirage Arena had a serene, relaxing aura to it.

 

This place had no soul at all.

 

Lyon ventured up to the main computer, and gingerly pressed a bit; jumping a bit as the screen flared to life. A large cross-section image of a castle was displayed, with several 'Mirage' floors available to visit. Lyon, was on floor ten. "I..don't remember the Arena doing this.." He whipsered, pressing another button to scroll around. Sighing, he stepped away. Another mystery to solve.

~Day -7~ F2

 

Sekai wandered around the house, unable to find anything.  She tried boosting herself up to the hole, but to no avail.  She was dead tired and her magic power was completely depleted.  She looked around to find any food that could possibly help her gain more energy.  She walked to the kitchen and looked for something that she could take without it being spotted or missed.

"That would make me a thief though..." she said to herself.   

She looked inside the fridge and began to dig through it.  She ultimately found only some sea salt ice cream in the freezer, which was a bit unsatisfying, but at the same time there were so many, one wouldn't make a difference.  She grabbed it and started eating it.  She needed to sustain her power.

 

"I am so sorry!" 

*Day -7 ~ F2*

 

Cykes had managed to clear out the gathering heartless. Once that was done, he set up to wait for the figure in the sky to land. After about 40 minutes, He realized the figure was farther out then he had supposed. He left for a quick trot back to where he had landed and retrieved what Gummi blocks there were left and brought them back to where he had followed the Heartless. He settled down to wait for the figure while studying the remains of his ship.

Hours passed, and he found out two things. One, there was no obvious reason why the Gummi blocks should have come apart. Two, the heartless had miscalculated as to where the figure was to land. The figure hit in a different part of town. Cykes groaned. He envisioned a lot of walking in his future.

An idea stuck him and he began to put his remaining Gummi blocks together to form a makeshift vehicle.

~Day -7~ F2

 

Sekai ate the food in an angry haste.  She could not remember her last meal and this one, no matter how horrible tasting it was, was the only thing she had to eat.  She needed to keep her morale at high levels or else all hell would break lose.  She sat on the couch and thought of a plan.

 

"Hm, what to do?"

*Day -7 ~ F2*

 

Cykes tested the balance of the makeshift Gummi hover bike he had slapped together. It seemed to be working right, but he decided to keep it a little slow. He summoned his swords' carrying case, sticking the main blade back inside, but kept the hollow blade out. He might need it if more Heartless showed up.

He hopped up on the Gummi bike and rode to where the figure he had seen hours before had landed.

Sekai got off the couch and was absolutely back to normal.  She used her aero magic to fly through the hole in the roof and prop herself on top of it.  She stood there, gazing at the beautiful scenery.  She could tell something about it was amiss, but it was still a gorgeous view to be had.  She jumped down the roof, where she was greeted with the sudden appearance of many heartless.

 

"Not again!" she yelled.  

 

She blew all the heartless in each direction and bolted through the alleyways.  It was becoming a very tedious tasks to deal with these dark yellow-eyed creatures.  She did not want anything to do with the creations of the abyss any longer.  She kept running, hoping she could finally get some answers to so many questions stock piling her head.

Something woke Kiru up from her catnap, she could feel a presence in here with her. She got up from where she was sitting then saw something in the distance looking at her, she couldn't make out what the figure was or if it was a boy or a girl. Kiru walked towards it while it just stood there looking, she stopped when she could see what the figure looked like. Darkness was flowing out, it had these gold eyes and it looked like herself actually "What is that?" she said quietly. Kiru started sinking into the darkness. she started to get dizzy, as the figure got closer and closer it held out it's hand, Kiru didn't know if she should grab it or not but maybe it was going to save her from sinking? She chose to grab it's hand. "I'll help you" the shadowy figure said with an evil smirk, as the darkness from it's hand began to spread around Kiru's body. Thats all she could see before she became unconscious.

Cykes cruised along on his Gummi hover bike till he turned onto a broader street and was hit by a blast of wind, carrying debris alpng with it.He lost control of his make shift vehicle and crashed into the side of the street. As Cykes got back to his feet, he saw that most of the debris was Heartless.

"Wonderful." He muttered as he drew his sword and prepared to fight.

-Day 7 - F4-

Donovan woke up with an aching in his head. His head ached, though one thing was embedded in his mind. Namine.. Donovan was in his room. But something seemed different. No. His pencils were in the right place, his books in the right shelf, and his shoes in the right position. But still, something felt different. As if different crickets were chirping. It just didn't feel right. Walking outside his "room", he grabbed his war fan and shut the door behind him. 

"Mom?" he called out. No reply. "Mooom, I'm going out." Donovan, feeling suspicious, walked out of the house and into the town. No one was in Traverse Town. But by now, the crickets stopped chirping. 

~Day -7~ F2

 

Sekai kept running, until she came across a very notable figure.  She hid behind a set of barrels conveniently placed right behind the boy, as she watched the capable young man get ready to fight a set of heartless.  She did not know it at the time, but this boy, Cykes, also knew a girl named Namine.  She kneeled as she watched the event unfold in front of her very eyes.

 

"Finally... a person."

*Day -7 ~ F2*

 

Cykes sliced a jumping Heartless in two with his hollow blade as he pulled out the folding side blade he kept on him. Switching the side blade to a back handed grip, he turned and scissored the head off another Heartless. He jumped into the air, twisting in the air to have his feet up. Using his power over gravity to stay aloft longer, he slashed and stabbed at the group of heartless below him. Near the end of his air time, he twisted again to land on his feet on the otherwise of the heartless than he had started. He clanged his blades together as he prepared for another charge.

~Day -7: Floor 10~

Lyon resumed to roaming around the small circular platform, trying to find some way out. The raised teleporter wasn't working, which was odd. Eventually, he returned to the console, where the castle's image still shown clearly.

 

"I..don't know which to pick." He said, unsure of what to do. He scrolled around, but eventually settled on one of the floors. If this console at least held some way out -and an explanation for this mystery- then Lyon was willing to take it. With a press of a button, the teleporter in the middle of the platform hummed to life.

 

Lyon stepped on it, and breathed slowly. "Activate!" He ordered, the teleporter whisking him away..to floor 4; Traverse Town.

(guys I'm sorry, but I've decided to sort of resign. I can't seem to find any motivation to write so i don't wanna risk slowing the RP down)

~Day -7~ Floor 2

 

Sekai decided to finally come out and talk to the mysterious person who had managed to defeat the his opponents quite easily and efficiently, Cykes.

 

"Excuse me!" she yelled, standing up from behind the barrels.  "Do you happen to know why we're here?"

"Ah, my head hurts like crap!" Kiru held her throbbing head, then quickly jumped up and looked around to see if the shadowy figure was gone "Oh thats good" She held her hand up to her heart, she was relived that it was gone. "Okay, I better get moving" Kiru began walking down the street when she felt something on her leg, she looked down to see one of those small little heartless on her leg "Hey get off!" She tried shaking it off but it would budge "Your a clingy one, eh?" Kiru pushed it off then continued walking, until she felt it staring at her "Whats wrong with you?" They continued to stare at eachother for minuts then Kiru sighed "Fine just don't try anything" She continued to walk down the street again and the heartless ran beside her.

Cykes spun around, slicing the heads off the last two Heartless when Sekai called out to him. He whirled to face her, his weapons snapping into a defensive stance. When he identified the speaker to be a girl with green hair, he relaxed his weapons.

"Beyond the obvious Heartless problem, no." He answered Sekai in a business tone. "I arrived here because of a peculiar Gummi ship crash. I'm guessing that from your question, you are not native here?"

~Day -7~ Floor 2

 

"As if!" she responded to the skilled boy.  "I'm Sekai!  Nice to meet you Cykes!"

 

Sekai walked up to him, sticking out her hand, smiling.  Nothing could possibly be better than a friendly gesture, when dealing with strangers and that was what she did.  

*Day -7 ~ F2*

 

Cykes looked puzzled. How had she known his name?

"Nice to meet you as well, Sekai." He greeted.

He stabbed one of his blades into the ground and took Sekai's offered hand.

"I must admit, you seem to have me at a disadvantage. How did you know my name?"

~Day -7~ Floor 2

 

Sekai stood there, as puzzled as Cykes was.  She could not recall why she was able to say his name, in fact, she had forgotten the name during the whole exchange.  It seemed to have just rolled off the the tip of her tongue.  

"Weird..." she said to him.  "Didn't you say your name before?" she asked him, knowing the answer would be no.  She was shocked at the amazing development, taking a step back to analyze the situation.  Suddenly, her mood changed, adding the words, "You and Namine would hang out with me all the time, right?"  Sekai began to smile, now remembering his name, "Cykes!"

Cykes eyes narrowed when Sekai spoke of Namine. He just happened to run into someone else who knew about her? Unlikely. Coincidence was just a word used when you couldn't figure out how things connected.

Cykes studied Sekai a moment. He didn't think he remembered her, but then his memories of Namine were a bit spotty. Maybe...

"I...for some reason, my memory of playing with Namine is a little iffy." he explained.

He began to feel a little suspicious of that. Why couldn't he remember more? He cocked his head to one side as a vague memory emerged in his mind.

"Though, a girl with green hair seems to fit in."

Another connection he didn't know he had. Interesting.

~Day -7~ Floor 2

 

"Well," Sekai explained, "we can sort out the details later, I guess.  These black, yellow-eyed things, are teeming everywhere."

 

Sekai looked around the vicinity, to see if there was anyway to evade all these constant nuisances, but all she could see were countless houses, with their doors locked, unable to provide refuge to these two poor souls.  "Maybe we should find somewhere to have a proper conversation, don't you think," she suggested to Cykes, still confounded by his memories.

Kiru looked down at the heartless "Hm, maybe I should give you a name?" She said aloud. She looked up as more heartless appeared infront of her "How many are there?" Kiru sighed then got into a fighting stance before she could attack, she could here a snap of a finger but she didn't know where it came from but in a blink of an eye the heartless were gone except for her new friend.

"Show yourself!" Kiru yelled out but there was no response. She decided to keep walking after a couple of minutes. Kiru came across a broken piece of glass on the ground, she held it up so she could see her face but this reflection looked familiar, it looked like the same figure she saw earlier. It smirked evily then said 'I told you I'd help you'"Why did you?"'Because like it or not we need eachother, I need a host and you need my power""I dont need anything from you!" Kiru yelled out, not beliving what the figure was saying.The reflection chuckled darkly then shook its head 'Oh but you do, your weak without me you know that?'Kiru shook her head then threw the glass on the ground making it shatter into more bits and pieces

'Wether you like it or not were stuck with eachother... get over it.'"This is just... Awesome" Kiru sighed then just stood there.
