I would have to actually say IMO Lea is more likely not to be a light than Kairi. I sense tragedy in his future just to annoy us fans! (I am probably wrong...) And unless Mickey becomes the 13th Vessel I have to agree he is not one of the 13 darknesses. And I know your post was partially just to make a nice ending for everyone.

no way Xehanort could take control of him though. He still is a Keyblade Master, but Lea has to be unless he turns out to be a trader, but still Lea met Ventus and had a good connection with him I believe he knows that Ventus is sleeping in Sora's heart and he wants to save him (even though he probably doesn't know Ven is in danger). Either way Lea probably senses something in Sora and that something is Ven! I can't see Lea doing that especially after the way Axel acted throughout the series. If Axel truly will live on in Lea he won't go to the dark side (hahaha) he will stay loyal to Sora.

What I meant by saying that Lea might not be one of the 13 lights, is yes he cares about Sora. But on the other hand you could argue it is because He wants to be friends with Sora like how he was friends with Roxas, and he will only help the lights if he means helping his friends. So, he might end up helping because of that, unless he tries to join the darknesses to be with Isa. (though I would think it is more likely that he would help the lights to try to free Isa) What I am trying to say is that I have little doubt he will help the lights, I am not sure he will be fighting for the light just his friends.Sure that means he could still technically be called a light but...I am not so sure.
