"In an open letter to Kojima, British developer Just Add Water has expressed a desire to work with the series' creator to remake the game."

 

"By way of credentials, JAW cites "experience working with legendary IP (Oddworld Inhabitants) and treating the subject matter with the respect it deserves," along with having a team built of "huge Metal Gear fans, with very good knowledge of the source material" and the fact that everyone there "really, really want to do it."

 

Not sure what to think of this, since there was already a remake before. But it could be really awesome, your thoughts on this?

Seems like a waste of time. 

As awesome as this is, I don't really care for it since MGS has evolved far from sneaking around to get key cards so i wouldn't like to go back.

They need to remake Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2

A remake of mgs is pretty pointless. But being remade by the oddworld guys does make this news interesting.
