The latest update on Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD comes from Japanese magazines this week.

As previously reported, the HD update will have a bit of a bonus in the form of a 30 minute audio drama written by series composition writer, Kazushige Nojima. In contrast to what was said at Japan Expo, it seems players will not have to clear the game to hear it either.

This new story is said to take place one year following the events of Final Fantasy X-2 and will feature all new characters. Square Enix is also preparing illustrations to accompany the episode, in place of actual cutscenes. Although the games are being split up for PS Vita, the audio drama will be available for both console and handheld releases.

O_O Takes a yaer after X-2! So we FINALLY GET CLOSURE ON THE FINAL FATE ON TIDUS AND YUNA and everyone else from X. THat's cool.
