SEGA of Japan has just purchased a new domain. What does that mean? Nothing in itself, but when taking a look at the URL...

It leads to a blank page, of course... for now.
We discovered this through some paperwork that is under the name of SEGA of Japan that has been floating around, which I guess is some sort of sheet they had to fill out in order to buy the domain.. The paper work says nothing about the game, except the paperwork also mentions, in detail, how game programmers, game software, and disks along with cartridges and digital device usage are all included as part of this trademark.

This is my most wanted game for this year. I'm a huge Sonic fan (been playin' since I was 3), but I love the modern games more than the classicsd. This one just looks so freaking amazing, I can't believe it. So hyped right now.

Changes are bound to happen,and while some of the changes are bad,there are some really good changes that happened and can happen in the future.

 

Granted when a bad change happens I voice my opinion on it(like how many games in the past console gen prefer 90% cutscenes over gameplay)But I have to acknowledge the good changes that occured.I can't ignore good games like Sonic Colors,Sonic Generations and Sonic Lost World just because you said so

@Damn, well, I reaaaaally like Sonic 3 and Sonic CD, if that counts as anything. But I just like the 3D gameplay more. TBH I do have strange taste with certain things, though. For example, I actually really liked Sonic 06.Anyway, too bad Shadow isn't appearing in SLW. I love his new VA, which I'm sure all of you know, plays Saïx as well.

The adventure series is NOT Great...it's Average...SA1 is OK for the Sonic Stages and the Tails Stages(though they're a huge step down from the classics)...SA2 is a mixed bag...Sonic/Shadow Stages were reduced to just mostly Speed(except for Final Rush and GHZ those were well designed stages),Tails and Robotnik to Mech Shooter Levels(horrible),Knuckles/Rouge Emerald Hunting(Holy firetruck...in SA1 it was tolerable...but here...It was just a time-consumer)

 

Sonic Colors is a decent game,Sonic Generations was pretty good too but overrated and really short for a 2011 game...I was also dissapointed some better zones didn't make it into the game

 

But I excluded the recent games in my post(which means from 2010 and onwards he's been having good games...well except for the dissapointing Sonic 4)

 

I think Sonic Advance 1 is the best Modern Sonic Game...better than the Adventure Series by far...but Lost World might surpass it...it's looking promising(well the 3D parts anyways...the 2D parts look meh)

 

And for the other horrible games...Heroes,Shadow,'06,Unleashed,Storybook Games,Advance 2 and 3(well...not horrible just average and bad compared to the first one),Rush Series,Sonic 4(just an utter disgrace of a Sequel to the Best Game in the Series..pisses me off),Sonic Genesis(a port but still...horrible) etc.

Yeah, I like Sonic 06, but I really don't like Sonic Heroes (which is odd considering I like Shadow the Hedgehog on Gamecube). Sonic & Knuckles is okay, but I prefer the Sonic 3 half of it. I don't see how having poor taste equates to being "stupid" i've seen plenty of intelligent people who have some horrible taste(like listening to Justin Bieber or Disney Tweens...or being a Twilight Fan *shudders*)...I never said that...you jumped to that conclusion yourself

 

What's great about it? Sure the first time they're fun but as you begin to replay them you see that most of the stages are designed very cheaply and the stages become boring to play...that never happened with the classic games cuz they had amazing intricate level design which never got boring

On the other hand I can only take so much of City Escape before I try to glitch through walls or something out of frustration of the level being so goddamn restrictive and linear

And I don't even wanna mention the awful alternate gameplay styles...Mech Shooting? Amy running away from a Robot? Treasure Hunting? ICE FISHING???????????? SERIOUSLY? What were they THINKING?

Sonic 3 and Knuckles is meant to be played together...it was originally Sonic 3 but they had to split the game cuz of Developement Costs

 

It was a celebration of the series...even freaking Crisis City made it in there...and there were even cameos by Mighy and Fang(2 characters which sadly look 10 times more original then Shadow and Silver yet Sega forgot about them *facepalm*)

 

You're basing this off of his Modern Incarnation most likely...still better then any of the Modern Recolor Characters but yeah they kinda made him weird in the Modern Games by making him seem serious and shit

As much as I loved Sonic Adventure, I can agree that Big's stages were no good. I didn't mind Amy's stages as much, but she was seriously slow. E-102's levels were fun. Treasure hunting stages... well, there isn't really anything bad about them, but they aren't my favorites. Sonic's and Tails' levels were perfect though, albeit Sonic's has a few glitches.@Damn, I know, I'm saying I like the Sonic 3 half better than the Sonic & Knuckles half.He was in the DS version of Sonic Colors too, and that's a main game.IDK, Shadow is more than just a recolor... he's different from Sonic. I can see where you're coming from though, since he had pretty much the same moveset as Sonic in most games. That's why I loved Sonic Battle though, he had a ton of new moves in that. (Mighty was just a palette swap of Sonic though, so he's kinda just a recolor too, just without spines)I dunno, Knuckles just never appealed to me. His voice is cool though.Eesh, sounds scary. Sorry to hear that.
