Okay so this has nothing to do with kingdom hearts. The top screen of my 3DS has gone really dark but if I press down in certain places on the screen it goes back to normal brightness. I was wondering if anybody knew how to fix this cuz I really want to use it.

I think this is kinda permanent. It's also a rather common problem that I'm pretty sure can only be fixed if you had a warranty or can send it back to the manufacturer. My 3DS got a little crack in the top of the screen and the crack grew like the darkness in my heart until at least a third of the screen went completely dark.

you should turn your brightness up....

Yeah the darkness has taking you.I hope you have your light reserves still(warranty)

Since you're saying you touch it and it brightens sounds like you've left it til it's about to go on standby and it dims slightly before then you touch it...

Or your 3DS screen may be broken.

"Goes really dark?" Like, it gets hard to see, or the screen gets completely dark?

And this is for all games?

Depending, you could try to work that out in the menu of your 3DS, see if there's something wrong. Or it could be something specifically to your handheld.

If nothing works, check at place you bought it if there's a way to get it fixed or get a new one (they replace it for you).

This is happening to me too! It only happens sometimes though. You should put it down for repair.
