Xion walked around, observing her surroundings.

Vanitas walked around with his mask on, having fun and chillaxing his mind.

After walking into a clear area behind some buildings, Xion smiled as she summoned her Keyblade. She was so proud of herself to aquire the weapon. She began swinging it, getting used to holding and using it.

Prelude & Finale - Both weapons tend to lack any finite form that can be latched onto, as they change to fit the needs their wielders; this even means changing as new wielders are 'assigned' to the two, though they can't simply be stolen, for as the Keyblades, they choose what person holds rights over them. Prelude, wielded by Ode, and Finale, wielded by Reqs, are intertwined, and in fact 'brother' weapons, forged of the conflicting, yet parallel forces of darkness and light. They are able to stream their respective forces as those magics associated with their designated 'element'. As of now, both have taken on the shape and makeup of gunblades, almost archaic looking, as their blades are patterned with runes that seem to link them to their element. The triggers upon the revolver portion of the weapons is no more than a formality, as the very form of the gunblades was taken up by Prelude and Finale for the sake of their users' comforts, and keep them able in their preferred style of fighting; the triggers need not be pressed for a shot to be fired.

Biographical Information: To keep the long story thus far significantly shortened, both Nocturne and Aubade were unwillingly, and unknowingly picked out from the crop as bearers of a connection between Light and Darkness. It was something that had happened even as they were being conceived within. But it would take them several years to actually meet up with one another, for both lived on worlds completely different from one another: Nocturne grew upon a world blessed by a powerful Light. Ode was raised in the midst of a time of horrible waves of Darkness striking his home world. The former decided to leave on a journey to see what Darkness bore as its might; the latter managed to escape his shattered home, and take refuge.

 

Both would meet somewhere along these journeys, and immediately, they knew each other to be polar opposites. They battled, Light stemming from Darkness and Darkness bred from Light clashed on the streets Twilight Town. The battle went on in a back alley for an hour before heading into the main concourses of the town, where their battling scattered several civilians. In the end, they found themselves in a deadlock, as equals in strength, and ability. Believing the truth that they were both meant to be companions, or possibly rivals, they took an oath: To be as brothers, friendly rivals. At the time, they had departed from one another, knowing full well that they would be destined to meet down the road... someday

A shot rang out through the clearing of buildings, carrying from somewhere behind Xion, whizzing passed her head; it could have been fatal, were it aimed just a few more inches to the left, the darkness imbued energy dealing out its damage. But it hadn't been, and it struck against the wall before her, leaving a burning indent against the concrete materials. "That's a fancy weapon... A Keyblade?" Standing in the frame of a doorway, Reqs Nocturne emerged fully into view. Pale skinned, average in height and build, and decked out in an array of black clothing, he struggled to keep his untidy mess of black hair out of his eyes as he spoke. "I've always fancied to meet myself, one of the legendary Keybearers." He raised his right arm, aiming Finale, his trusted Gunblade, back into firing position. "Let's say I get a bit better acquainted with the legend."

"Ah!" she said falling backward. "Oh, sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going!"

she scrambled to her feet. She finally looked at him. "Wait... Who are you?"

Then she heard the bullet. She gasped. "This can wait." she said as she ran toward the sound. She walked up to Rews Nocturne and summoned her keyblade just in case. "w-who are you?" she said squinting.
