Who caused Roxas' and Xion's disappearance?

Posted

who would you say is most likley the reason why Roxas and Xion had to dissapear for Sora's memories to return. I wouldn't exactly say Sora is responsible because he was asleep and didn't know who they were, so he isn't really guilty. I would say Diz or Namine are because they came up with the idea of totally eliminating two important KH characters.

mod edit: cleaned up the title of the thread a bit.

I blame Xehanort. Technically, all major problems in this series can be traced back to him.

Well Namine gave Xion a a choice to fade into sora's memories or stay with roxas. And Roxas devided to go back in sora twords the end of khII. And Xion had some memories of sora that he needed.

If you ask me, I believe Riku had the greatest influence on her, and also some other characters as well. When she saw Riku on Destiny Islands, she asked what she should do and he gave her advice and told her something like "do what you feel is right" and he did not take her back forcefully or anything of the sort. He honestly confronted her and even if she were a fake, he felt her emotions/issues(?) and wanted to place them back in balance and rightfully explain to her to return to Sora to make things right.

As for Roxas, :/ pretty much Xemnas and everyone else since he was getting touchy over the Xion-is-missing situation. He wanted answers and depended on himself in the end of 358/2 Days. Also, the memories from Sora, etc were affecting his decision too. I think he basically wanted it to all stop and another is Xion's scene of fading from existence.

Edit: I moved this to KH general section due to the fact that it can relate to all the KH games in the series besides 358/2 Days.

Ok, nobody was accused of making xion and Roxas dissapear, like cricket said, Xion was INFLUENCED by Riku on destiny islands if you have played 358/2 days. She was also questioning her own existince later on in the game. She wanted answers to where her "memories" came from and to find out where she came from. So she decided to merge back with Sora by joining Riku. As for Roxas, he too wanted to get some answers. He wanted to know who is Sora, and how did he learn to use the Keyblade. And later on in 358/2 days he found out that Axel, his own best friend, was keeping that secret from him the whole time ever since he came back from the events of Chain Of Memories. So he left the organization to get those answers. But he was later on captured by Riku, and wassent to the data twilight town to where Kingdom Hearts 2 begins. So nobody was "responsible" for Xion and Roxas' dissapearence.
