I've noticed on lower level raid bosses the game says I've been defeated when I still had health left. This has happened for both Darkside and Behemoth. I've also noticed that the music fades when this happens. So, on lower level raid bosses, are you restricted to a time limit to where, regardless of the amount of health you have less, you are ruled defeated when the music fades? Has this happened to anyone else? It's not a huge issue, but it's a little annoying to be ruled defeated when you could have got in at least one more combo.

i have no clue but it is happening to other people

You have an hour to fight a raid boss from its initial spawning. (except when it would push the time limit for killing it past Japan's midnight)

There is a timer saying how much time is left right below the bar showing how much one team is beating the other by.  I am pretty sure they calculate your damage as soon as you first start your attack against the darkside. Because after that you can click a skip button. In my opinion it shouldn't force you out of your current attack when the boss leaves due to the timer. (since the damage is technically already done) Though personally I have never experienced what you said, though I have had people kill it while I was trying to attack it before. (probably close to 30+ times)

When it says I'm defeated though, it does not happen when Darkside/ Behemoth is defeated or the Encounter Timer runs out. Say, there is still 30:00 minutes on the timer, the boss music fades, the boss's attack ends, I still have health, and it takes me to the defeated screen.

I have no clue what is happening then. It just sounds odd. I can only guess at that point there is some desync in between you and the actual game. (maybe it doesn't like your internet browser) Unless if their is an attack limit against the boss. Where you can only attack x number of times. I personally haven't seen it, though I skip most of my battles. (though I think I have watched my character survive 4 or 5 attacks before)

It happened to me a lot. I think you have a limited amount of attacks.

Anything with being timed is a challenge accepted moment for me....
