Do gift box items have an expiry date?

Because I have a few items in front of which I see a date and time mentioned in red along with some Japanese.

    I thought they did, I don't know why else they would make us have to claim the rewards after we won them if they didn't

    yes they do. If you haven't retrieved any items, you better do it now or else it'll be gone at that date
